  1. I mean we just covered the whole thing in it after it arrived in Chicago regardless.
  2. Beardislava will miss you, it's always been a great place. Both to play and help manage, but also to just hang out in.

Welcome to Chicago @samthemancub looking forward to having you get us some W down the stretch.
  6. Looks at player name Looks at who recruited Yeah, that checks out!
  7. Now that's a player name that will give us plenty of nightmare fuel.

So Dooms has a jerb moving forward. Nice!
  9. As long as we unite in our goal to #blamecole I'm cool with it!
  10. I mean you'll likely be fine since you did the one season in the VHLE anyways. Since you only take 3% instead of 5% on your first hit, as long as you have Jagr and % fighter money for your last 2 hits you should be alright. Even if you regress by a fair bit in that final season that'd still put you at above 1k TPA and then some anyways.
  11. Yeah, it looked like you started to bank at like 1240ish. Then you just had a massive update recently, but as long as you have money saved for fighters, you should be more or less fine. Having 4 attributes at 95 is just kinda painful from a depreciation perspective.
  12. This change basically just undoes what the hybrid change broke. There were way harsher variants than this tossed around, but this was the best middle ground. The ability to Jagr the 9th season will really help take the edge off, as assuming you plan your build accordingly. That Jagr will save roughly 87-115 TPE in depreciation. That still makes it a massive final hit, but it's entirely possibly to still cap around 1200 TPA as a competitive max earner with it. And at that point, unless you're specifically a Center or willing to invest in meme attributes. You're so deep in diminishing returns adding another 100 TPA to your peak (which 8 season players can do) isn't doing much for you in the sim. More of a "I like big numbers" thing at that point. That being said, I foresee @Daniel Janser having a bit of an interesting time with his depreciation management.

  14. Probably my favorite graphic of yours. You did a very good job blending the render with the background and making it look very natural. The addition of the rain-looking effect on the right hand of the graphic also does a good job of highlighting how depressing playing for LA is currently. A nice touch, really. If there's any gripe for me personally I think it's that I feel like you did a bit too much with the warping of the text. Though I really like it interacting with the background in the "negative" slice at the bottom. The "smudged" look at the very top of the C and A in Callum takes away from the otherwise mostly clean style of the text as well. Because I can, I will arbitrarily dock points from my equally arbitrary rating for it. Rating: 6.9/10 (Yes, I'll keep rating everything this until ratings are removed as a requirement for reviews)
  15. As usual a very solid Frank graphic, though considering the player of choice. I would have liked to have seen more hidden phallic symbols included in the design to really tie it into the personal of the biggest Wann Kerr in the VHL. As much as a certain Aussie would like to claim that title. Though with you working a lot more with minimalistic setups of late, I do understand you skipping on it for that reason. Rating: 6.9/10 (Because Wann Kerr)
  16. 1. 6.9, realistically higher than that. But I just give that rating to everything in the VHL at this point, so if it ain't broke. Don't fix it. 2. Simon is not a benevolent god, he will grow hungry for more and more. Until the price he asks is one you simply cannot pay. 3. Stuff and things, just highlighting the more memorable 1st gens I've worked with as AGM/GM. 4. Probably, I don't see who would realistically challenge you with the roster you have this season. 5. My rookie 1st gen season was pretty weird. A whirlwind of stuff happening at a pretty controversial time in the league. It was a fun time too though, forums were so much more active than they have been since. 6. I've never been to the continent, let alone the city.
  17. While in the middle of having the two-way career of it's life, in an interview with VHL press the now famous bot B-CHI D1 shared the secret to its incredibly successful season, that sees it sitting in the top 5 for +/- in the entire league. It turns out that in the off-season it attended Juan Ceson's Bot training program based out of the Juan Ceson Practice Facility in Las Vegas. A program that's seen success stories like the Mississauga defense from the S84 regular season and reportedly also a certain Warsaw bot of legend through it's ranks earlier. When asked about what exactly happens inside the facility that makes all bots that attend it so elite, Juan Ceson refused to comment and his manger Captain Best Bot Ever @dylanjj37 simply replied by pretending to be dead for about 3 days straight. So we're none the wiser as to what secret techniques are being applied in Vegas to bring bots up to these unthinkable levels of play. Though rumor has it the infamous substance Clue Glue™ has some part in the process.
  18. Based on who should be working on it, it will likely be done in "2 days" IYKYK
  19. This but specifically for 1st gens to get a tag in the portal is currently in the works. P.S. We're also not actually getting paid, so you get what you pay for.
