The goat is at it again, with more ice than your average hockey player. The graphic as a whole is pretty simplistic, but I do enjoy the play on words and that the graphic ended up being something that I hadn't expected it be. Which is always fun, as nice as it is to see the same style of sig over and over again. Having your expectations subverted is a more fun experience to me, which made me want to review this graphic. Well, that and I needed 1 more TPE. But let's ignore that last part. I rate this GOAT/INTY

I find the amount of James Teekique in this graphic very appealing, in fact one might say this graphic is essentially nothing but a study in being James Teekirque. I do wonder about the significance of the bolt across his face. Is it because James Teekirque is fast as lightning on the ice? I do not know. But the fact that this piece, simple as it may be, makes me question the meaning behind it still means it's gotten me to have more of an emotional response than a lot of graphics. So I've been having a bit of fun last night and today. Since a while back I secretly created a player in the SHL under an alias and did my very best to roleplay a pseudo-inactive clicker. In an attempt to do the @JardyB10 Challenge over here. Which worked out pretty well, my player got drafted 45th OA. Just barely before teams started to pass their picks. Which prompted me to drop a 2k word media piece there telling everyone who I was and what the plan was. I had honestly not expected there to be too much response, I certainly wasn't expecting people to read a 2k article just 10 minutes after the draft ended. But I guess the SHL was lacking some drama, so this got peoples attention. And I've been making the rounds joining all the Discords and introducing myself today. Been a fun time so far, and as an added bonus like 5 people from my draft class decided to join 4.4 East in HN. So the conference that was looking like it would be me, @Blazzer, @Nykonax and some AI teams. Is now nearly a full conference all of a sudden. Hopefully everything keeps going good and I'll have an impact player over there as well. Having joined up with a team that has a lot of names that are quite familiar on it.

1. Knowing CBBE, I'd say the odds are slim at best. 2. I feel like it went pretty well, assuming everyone can be kept active there's a solid 4 core of forwards and 3 dmen. Hopefully the goalie situation gets sorted ASAP. 3. Don't trust CBBE, ever. 4. Godawful, which is pretty much par for the course at this point. 5. CBBE is their shrine, if we're being honest. Though knowing him he probably wants a golden throne as their shrine. 6. Not have to do contract negotiations with Juan Ceson. It was the best!

Yeah, that 100% needs to be added. Having to explain that LW/C/RW are effectively identical in the sim unless they invest into FO is probably one of the, if not the, most common thing I had to clear up for 1st gens. Both in the JST and the VHLM. Since a lot of games do impose garsh penalties for playing forwards out of position.

With the S78 draft class all being sent the the farm upstate this week. It's sure made some moves happen on the Active top TPE (and more importantly TPA) leaderboards. Currently they are a bit hard to judge, since some players have gotten their dono weeks in already, and others haven't. But let's have a look at the TPA leaderboards regardless. 1. [80] G - Xavier Booberry @CowboyinAmerica 1240 (1513) 2. [80] C - Saku Kotkakoivu @DollarAndADream 1240 (1304) 3. [79] C - Jonathan Ori @ROOKIE745 1227 (1514) 4. [81] C - Daniel Janser @Daniel Janser 1174 (1175) 5. [82] D - Bo Johansson @Shindigs 1154 (1154) As you can see the list is somewhat dominated by Centers, which makes sense. Centers (especially Power centers, which all 3 are to some degree) are the most TPE hungry players in the Hybrid era by a decent margin, in fact the only other role that comes close is Checking "hybrid pass first" Dman. Aka what Bo is, and Aurelien Moreau was. Since it's the only other role that needs as many attributes. But the dmen only "need" about 80 PA, the Centers need closer to 90 FO (and slightly more SC). So they are still having the upper hand when it comes to being TPE hungry, for sure. But what this also means is that Bo is now actually the highest TPA dman in the entire league, woo! Time to hopefully live up to that with a 100 point season. Though knowing Bo he will start hot, then forget what hockey is for the last half of the season, like he always does.
