Hey @NMau22, Sadly we are in the finals of the VHLM playoffs so teams cannot add you to their rosters any more. If I remember when the JST is then JST General Managers should be reaching out to you soon. DM here on the forum if you want any help figuring out the TPE system with earning TPE and stuff like that. Good luck in your VHL career! - Eagle - AGM of Las Vegas Aces

We're now 2 games into the finals of the VHLM Playoffs and Ivan Retoslav has not scored a point, his last point was against Mexico City in game 2 of the Semi-Finals. This isn't the first time that he has fallen like this, he did just the same in San Diego at the start of the season and right after being traded to Houston. Retoslav just barely clinched 80 points in the regular season, but now everyone is unsure if he will even hit 20 in the Playoffs. Ivan Retoslav keeps falling off like this, many are concerned if teams will draft him with this risk added to his scouting report. He did the same thing in the DEL before coming to the VHLM, he had over 80 points in both seasons he played there, then only had 22 points in 31 Playoff games. He went through slumps in the Playoffs both years he played there. Choking in the Playoffs seems almost like second nature to the young Russian, but one question remains, will these slumps continue? A final remark by a pro scout for the VHL, "If Retoslav proves he can be consistant in the E next season, he will definitely get a slot on a VHL team in S84." With that final remark, we will see you next time when we count the amount of trees vs planes in the world!

1. I hope to have a role as a playmaker, maybe putting in some goals and game winning assists. 2. Molson Canadian 3. Take a trip to Gretzky's winery? 4. Probably Philly, they will be very hard to beat if we face them. 5. Nope, I'm gonna stay as Vegas AGM. 6. I'm gonna mostly try to keep it the same, but I'm gonna switch from a shoot first build into a passing build.

Ivan Retoslav was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He has been playing hockey since the age of 5 and is one of the top prospects for the upcoming draft. He is 6ft 2in tall and weighs 225 lbs. He comes to the VHL from the German league, the DEL, in which he played his U16 and U17 seasons. He had a total of 184 Points over the two seasons he played there. Let's take a dive into what the scouts have to say about him. Pros - Faceoffs - Retoslav has focused a massive amount into winning possession for his team, in his final season for his AAA team he had a FO% of 78.65%. One scout was quoted saying "Its amazing watching how many faceoffs this kid wins, it's like he can sense when the puck is dropped without seeing it." - Offensive Awareness - Retoslav has shown that he can tell where his teammates are without even looking at them, This has caused many scouts to say that he is one of the most promising playmakers in his draft class. - Shooting - Retoslav has an amazing shot, and he finishes often when he uses it. A scout was heard saying "I've never seen someone shoot with as much confidence as this kid, he could be very promising." Cons - Physicality - Although he comes in at a massive 6ft 2in and 225 lbs, Retoslav is not very physical. Most of that weight is muscle but that muscle tends to be in his legs, carrying his speed and agility. Many scouts say that he is not physical because his dream is to be a 100 point scorer. - Discipline - Despite putting up 116 points in his U15 season, he also managed 45 PIM in the same span, If a team does want him, they will have to worry about him spending too much time in the box. Although that may be offset by him putting in a goal or two first. This may be a turn off for many scouts, but quite a few still looked to see what he could do. - Strength - Retoslav is not a very strong player in the way that scouts rate the stat. His legs are very strong, but the scouts don't say he is very strong because of the fact he does not hit very often, and even when he does hit they are rarely big hits. Overall Ivan Retoslav is a very refined player with quite a bit of promise showing in his game. He acknowledges that he is not at his peak and is still working very hard to improve his game. Whatever team gets him in the upcoming draft will be very lucky as he is seen to be one of the best all round players of the draft class. Word Count: 463

Ivan Retoslav Junior Review Ivan Retoslav was born to a middle class family in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. When he was 3 he watched his first ever VHLM game on TV and fell in love with the league, he begged his parents to sign him up for the local hockey program and he instantly set to work. According to his parents, they had never seen a kid work so hard at something in their life. By the age of 13 he was already on his local AAA team. His coaches pushed him hard and he was all the better for it. The young Russian was thrown into the spotlight in Russia and into the eyes of VHL scouts at the age of 14 after a game where he had 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) and lead his team to their 3rd championship in a row. By the end of the season, he had put up numbers never before seen in that league, an astounding 45 goals, 71 assists and 116 points in 66 games. This drew him the attention of multiple VHLM teams, that attention only grew when he participated in the JST and managed 8 points in 12 games playing against players heading into the VHLE next season. Before the draft, Retoslav was contacted by the Ottawa Lynx, Las Vegas Aces, San Diego Marlins and Philadelphia Reapers. He was projected as a mid 3rd round pick, but when the draft happened everyone was stunned as he was selected just 17th overall by San Diego. Pro scouts noted his pros and cons, those are listed below: Pros - Faceoffs - Retoslav has focused a massive amount into winning possession for his team, in his final season for his AAA team he had a FO% of 78.65%. Those numbers are untouchable for the average center. - Offensive Awareness - Retoslav has shown that he can tell where his teammates are without even looking at them, his awareness is among the best seen in recent draft classes. - Shooting - Retoslav has an amazing shot, and he finishes often when he uses it. Cons - Physicality - Although he comes in at a massive 6ft 2in and 225 lbs, Retoslav is not very physical. Most of that weight is muscle but that muscle tends to be in his legs, carrying his speed and agility. - Discipline - Despite putting up 116 points in his U15 season, he also managed 45 PIM in the same span, If a team does want him, they will have to worry about him spending too much time in the box. Although that may be offset by him putting in a goal or two first. Conclusion Ivan Retoslav is no doubt one of the top prospects for the S83 entry draft, and is projected to go between 10th and 15th overall. He is a very prominent figure and has a very good public image. Retoslav is a good all around player and whatever team picks him is going to get a good centerman that can put up points and is not afraid to sacrifice his body. Word Count: 507

Press Conference - Week Ending March 6 (Answer all 6 for 2 TPE) To Claim: Go to https://vhlportal.com/ > Player > Manage > Claim Capped > Type > Press Conference 1. As you know, AJ stepped down as AGM last week. How do you feel about the new AGM hiring? 2. Which VHLM team do you think is most likely to end up 1st in the regular season? (Saskatoon, Houston or Philly) 3. How do you feel about how much ice time your player is getting? Too little? Too much? 4. As you may have heard, Houston recently broke the single game scoring record in a 12-1 win over Missisauga, How do you feel about this? 5. (NHL Question) Who do you think will be the NHL's leading point scorer at the end of the season? 6. If you are carrying one crowbar its suspicious, if you're carrying 3 crowbars its not suspicious, but if you're carrying 10 you look suspicious again.
