This was my concept for the VHLE and I loved it. Members can use their contract and Player Store money to buy one of the new franchises, which gives them full control of the team and maybe makes them money as well. Maybe a bit too high concept, but it sounds fun.

That’s the difference between me and 3PPAO, I’m very committed to my content being league related, and will adapt my life opinions thusly.

DISCLAIMER: I thought this would be a fun segment for my podcasts but BOG is generally too boring and also I'm too lazy to browse it most the time and also I keep forgetting. So here's the overtired VHL.com version. Saskatoon, SK (PP) - Word coming down from the VHL head office, located in Saskatoon, SK, states that the league Board of Governors has been hacked, and all sorts of information has been leaked by an unknown source. This source anonymously posted what allegedly are actual discussion points in the secretive BOG cult, and some of the topics have rustled the general public's jimmies. League officials have yet to comment on the validity of any of the leaker's claims. Below are a few of the topics allegedly being discussed among the BOG: VHLE Clarifications: The VHL's third official brand was announced near the beginning of S78, and information on the league has slowly been trickling in since then. The hacker claims discussion on the league is an ongoing thing, though they admitted this discussion has stagnated since Victor and Acydburn seized absolute control of the Europe based league. Abolishing the AGM Role: The leaked manifesto reports that some of the older libertarian members of the BOG are calling for the Assistant General Manager position to be abolished. The argument is that the GMs of both the VHL and VHLM are overpaid as it is, therefore them being able to hire free labour to do half their job is a waste of tax-payer dollars. The idea of GMs having to ACTUALLY earn their salary is a popular one. World Cup Expansion: Scrub spokespeople apparently have been speaking out on the World Cup, claiming that it is too elite of a tournament, and that more teams should be added to give less good players a chance to participate in the international event. This idea was alleged to have received so well that it eventually evolved into an All-Star Game revival discussion. The randomness of that last claim make this point almost sound made up, but expanding the WC in a meaningful way does have its merits. Embezzling VHL Donations: Many players and agents across the VHL pay money into the league in order to receive certain benefits. The Board has apparently used this league income and has nearly finalized a group booking at a Hawaiian resort for the next BOG general meeting. Prohibiting Prospects from Training Camp: A long known issue in the VHL has been the amount of hormonal sweat and stench at each team's pre-season Training Camps. As players get younger, the amount of rampant body odour in the league as a whole increases, causing distress to many of the veteran members. Therefore, discussions to prohibit any player not on the opening night roster from attending a team's training camp have just begun. - 472 words

God damn these drivecasts are blowing up! Seriously everyone, don’t die, I would be physically sick with guilt. “At least they asked you to re-roll your player.” I laughed at loud at this. I also got that Bananadick early summer feeler. I responded pretty quickly, but forgot about it until now. You would have been a good fit on Davos! We could really use a good forward. @GustavMattias trade me. (Actually in hindsight, I wonder if trading down would have been a solid play if anyone could have predicted your slide that far). Conversely, I really LIKED the idea of going to Moscow for the exact same reason! No one else scouted me so that’s no fun. I suppose Riga did need a defenceman a bit more than a forward. I don’t think there’s any reason you should have fell past Riga though. I can see Seattle wanting to keep their pick in the minors I suppose, but still insane you went after those three scrubs! Malmo is a very good team, so that’s a big pro to falling in the draft. Plus you can say “I told you so” when you make HOF. No, Davos will destroy you. Don’t lie to us, you are Streetlight. JardyB10 was actually a very stupid and rather low key racist username origin. But Jardy B himself ended being a great player so it has worked out. 1. The draft has come and gone, leading us with a few new people--led by 4th-overall selection Poopy Peepants. What's something you'd tell one of our draftees about what makes us unique as a team? If you're one of those draftees, what are your initial impressions of us? You're all a bunch of degenerates and I wish I could have been drafted to Vancouver instead. 2. Though the offseason has seen some big, big moves, free agency has not gone at all the way we wanted it to. We have some cap space to work with--what do we do to fill it up? That's tough to say. We could sign some randoms, or we could try to wait mid-season to see if any teams will be selling, though I'd hate to lose another 1st with a rebuild 3 seasons or less away! 3. What's your prediction for where we end up this season? Have we managed to pull a complete 180 and get ourselves among the league's best, or will we realistically need another season to work up to it? I don't think we're quite in the top tier due to our lack of forward talent, I think we're missing at least one more 600+ TPA guy up there. We'll be a playoff team though, and anything can happen at that point. Next season we'll be stronger still I reckon, but may still need that extra player! 4. You can make double the amount of money you do currently, but you have to move to the other side of the world to do it. Do you? Both of those things sound fantastic, so yes! Unless I'm being bamboozled and instead of making say $30/hr, I'd be making 60 yen/hr on the other side of the world. 5. What popular thing do you hate? Most, if not all, forms of social media. Also apple pie. 6. You get to be an actor in any kind of movie you want. What role do you play? I would like to be Leslie Nielson's successor.

It is a lot! This is what being wanted feels like . But the nice thing about lots of choices is that you can roll a literal dice and decide like that.
