Oddly (or maybe not) it was the younger members who assumed he was old. Damien depicted him as an ancient in the "jurdy" comics, and I think I semi-recently talked to either eaglesfan or Dwyer or DT who thought he was older as well. I don't think I would have thought he was 14 when I joined though... Anywho, we'll miss you greatly alfieforever. We'll have to rebrand as the "Y Hockey League," because it won't be the same without Victor.

We needed our GM's goalie to shit the bed in a game or three, but he just wouldn't. Congrats, New York. Ya scumbags.

I don't know how much of a story there is. The SHL founder and former VHL pilgrim once upon a time disappeared from the league. Then I think someone dug him up on the Florida sex offenders list that showed his charges and mug shot and whathaveyou. Which I also took the liberty of re-digging up, and it looks like he got busted once for possession of child porn, and another time (almost exactly a year ago) for "producing, directing, or promoting" it. It also says he was deported! Which I didn't even know he was an immigrant. And that doesn't seem like a responsible thing to do to a sex offender... ("Not our problem!")

I'm a Nintendo fanboy/apologist and I'll blindly approve of everything they do. But I've never purchased a new console. I've barely purchased a console, period. I bought a new Playstation when the PS2 came out and they were a lot cheaper, and I bought my friend's old PS2 when he got a PS3. My parents got us a Wii for Christmas 3 or 4 years after they were released. I don't love console gaming enough to justify buying the newest shit when it's released. So historically speaking, I probably will never own a Nintendo Switch. I might get a PS4 when PS5's are all the rage.
