Don't worry, your GM lives in Saskatoon, he knows how you feel.

I agree that this trade is a bit lopsided, in the sense that it's rather uncommon for a player in his prime to get traded for a fresh prospect straight up. Like, I kind of feel like Ilya is worth a bit more than a 1st, maybe a 1st and a 2nd, but that's actually entirely unrelated to the ongoing debate. But yeah, I see this is more or less resolved, but I feel like there was much a fuss about nothing here. As Streetlight pointed out, the only way transferring GM playership from one to another could be exploitable is if the two players were on the same team in the first place. And even then, I don't know if automatically making the younger player the GM player even needs to be the solution, rather it should just be that if a GM happens to acquire his second player, the GM player CAN'T change ownership at that point. So even if Riga traded for Grigory and kept Ilya, and later in life Ilya retired and re-created as Vladimir, Toast still can't turn around and trade Vladimir and make Grigory the GM player. Basically you can only make your 2nd player a GM player if you straight up swap them. Or it could just go to the younger player automatically, either works. It's certainly less complicated.

I will deliberately poop in my own pants if Motherfucker makes the HOF

I probably will play around with the Fighting sliders now that I'm actually going to have a fighter in the league. Injuries I've brought up, but it was aggressively shut down. I would also be curious as to what the rest of the league thinks of it, but I'm assuming it will be more or less the same. I'm fairly sure the Penalty Shot attribute was introduced with V2, and therefore there's simply no way to make it matter unless we switch the engine to V2. Which is not particularly feasible. Good Media Spot though, and I would like to see what other people think of at least injuries!

Claimed:KnightTime #75 - SPECIAL EDITION ft...
JardyB10 replied to Phil's topic in Archived Podcasts
h8u guys. You forgot to consider we have a backup goalie! -
Didn't even mention my podcast. And you can indeed be in two locker rooms with two players. In fact I feel like that was part of the reason it was implemented! And I'd say Victor deserves Playoff MVP. I'd argue he was the main reason Toronto trounced Calgary in the first place, and we single-handedly won at least two of the games in the finals.
-
Right, it's a snake draft. I'm dumb, thank you. Jeff Hamilton @jRuutu
-
I'm also interested in this series for the same feelings Victor has for defencemen. I generally find them less important. That being said, we did almost lose to Cologne in the playoffs due to our shortage in defencemen, as two separate RIG Ds were getting 18 minutes a game, and were consistently minus players. So I'd say you need more depth than talent on defence.

Shayne Gow @Kendrick

Okay, as per request, we will change it to Jardy.

I didn't realize DAAD was more than the other 20 candidates either, but he still wins every other year, which I assumed was because he was the backbone of Toronto. That's also why I assume Lahey gets a letter in Calgary every single season. Maximoff has that same dedication to Riga, and he didn't hesitate to extend his contract further even though we're not looking that good this season. Phil is always a worthy winner, and so is Zach, but it wouldn't kill everyone to at least consider someone else for once. I think you got boned out of the award 100 times because of it.

Ah, forgot about that. We should edit that into the description.

I'm thankful for eaglesfan

DONE

You're the most special, that is why this pains me so.

Yay! But just to be fair so it doesn't sound like I'm slandering lies about Oslo and Yukon, I'm not 100% certain they are necessarily monsters this season. I just assume so because Oslo is pushing hard for the Cup, and Yukon had an admirable amount of draft picks. But them and Saskatoon are the main threats in my eyes, so yeah.

Player Name: Motherfucker Sharpe VHL Team: None/Ottawa Lynx Cash you have: $1,000,000 Purchase Name: The First Generation Cost of Purchase: $500,000 Cash Left: $500,000
-
I will elaborate more then. I sold for the first time since I took over in S46 last season, and virtually had no players left. This season is our first rebound season, because I don't like to stay down for too long (or at all), so we'll be competitive, though I suppose we don't have a monster roster like Oslo or Yukon or whatever. Every decent guy I have I just got in the draft, and quality depth is always something I value. And, as I mentioned in the chat, we drafted three first generation players of varying degrees of promise. Also I love you.

@President Donald Trump @TheLastOlympian07 @Streetlight @hedgehog337 @ADwyer87 @Smarch I may as well get this party started. @diamond_ace We've had a brief conversation about your desires, so you know our deal. In fact we are even still conversing, but about other things now. You can never have too much veteran presence, especially for the contemporary founding father of this wonderful franchise. The Ottawa Lynx offers Hrdina $1,000,000 for his services. And just to note, you must wait 12 hours from THIS VERY MOMENT before you can officially accept any offer laid here. Also, completely unrelated note, but you GMs really shit the bed at tagging the free agents last season. Tagging the Player 2s as [S52] makes no sense, because they aren't S52 players, and it was S51. I'd say either tag the players by their draft year, or tag the season we're in. Or in my case, both. Or in other cases, neither. But don't tag shit if you're just going to get it wrong! GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!

Nailed #9 though!

While I wasn't a fan of the random assignments either, it's done now and we've dicked around enough. If Muffins wants to go to Oslo for some forsaken reason, he can be traded like a normal person.

With their final pick of the draft, the Ottawa Lynx would like to welcome Tomas Syndergaard at 29th overall! @457
-
At 25th overall, the Ottawa Lynx are pleased to select Joshua Deslisle! @JoshuaDel
-
With the first pick in the third round, the Ottawa Lynx are very pleased to select Legubrious Tucker at 17th overall! @Thunderous
