While the Moscow Menace fell short once again in the finals, there was quite a historic achievement that came about. Defenseman Hard Markinson became the VHL All-Time Playoff Points Leader for a defenseman. Marksinon broke Elijah Incognito's record of 90 points in 10 less games. Marksinon finished this post-season with an all-time total of 95 points. The heartbreak of the championship loss, made this achievement virtually silent from a VHL standpoint. In fact, Markinson's point totals weren't even on the "All-Encompassing Playoff Point Spreadsheet", which made the tracking of this record very under the radar. Marksinon's S81 Playoff Run where he had 37 points in 17 games is a big reason for this large point total, but other than his first playoff run, he has been at least a point per game in every playoff run for Moscow. While increasing this total is a goal for Hard going forward, it should come naturally as he aims to achieve his ultimate goal of a VHL Championship. He will be expected to take on a larger role this year fater the Moscow Menace traded their star forward Duncan Idaho to the DC Dragons, as their cap situation was an issue with Papa Emeritus, Markinson and Seabasstard all making the league max-bracket.

One of the biggest moves of the off-season saw Duncan Idaho shipped to DC. Idaho will go down as one of the best Menace players of all-time, and certainly the most statistically impressive player in franchise history. What are your favorite memories of this player? 3. Tomas Sogaard and Jason Argos are set to make their VHL debuts this season. Moscow GM Euron Leonidas has been quite impressive in finding exceptional talent. Which of these two prospects excite you, and what part of their game are you looking forward to watching? 4. Another addition to the team was defenseman Flynn Remy. @jhatty8 was a steal in the 2nd round by Helsinki in S80, but has become a very reliable defenseman. How did you welcome Remy into Moscow, and/or what impact do you think he will have on the team? 5. I think the elephant in the room is apparent. We've lost four times in a row in the finals. We had the best player in the league, and had to move him. Has the window closed, or is this team still capable of winning a championship? 6. How have things been for you personally? Getting excited for summer? Any plans?
