Good old Jimmy Floyd... Weird part to me is that there's a guy from the tail end of the pre Abramovich era that's still playing (Eidur Gudjohnsen) when guys like Drogba/Lampard/Terry are all winding it down. Even weirder part is I actually looked it up, Gudjohnsen is YOUNGER than Drogba and Lampard (only by months, and all three have a few years over Terry) when I'd have sworn up and down, just based on eras with Chelsea, that Gudjohnsen would have been older by a few years at least.

I don't want to be too obnoxious about this, since I think it was my obnoxiousness about it earlier in my VHL career that may have kept me out for this long (I mean there were years when no builders were picked, so it's not like I was being passed over for more deserving candidates, although there definitely have been plenty of deserving candidates who have gotten in). Back in the day I would talk to whoever would listen about how I thought I needed a HOF Builder spot and how I did this and that and everything and should be in - while I still think everything I said was true, the notion of holding off until the member is less active so as to get a fuller notion of their contribution was brought up to me a few times and ultimately it proved true as I've greatly declined in activity in the recent months/year. I remember a conversation I had with @Phil once about how he and I both needed to get in as well as @Beketov. Since that conversation, all three have been inducted, some just hours ago *cough* me *cough*. I'm now going to join the bandwagon for @Higgins to get there, as well as perhaps a more surprising choice in @boubabi, who I feel has changed the VHL Graphical community for the better even though that's not really an aspect of the site I'm as familiar with or interested in. Still, while my players have typically underperformed their TPE counts (except maaaaybe Marcellin) pretty much ruling out an entry as a player, I'd say two massive GM stints, one in each league (sometimes more successful than other times), as well as VHLM Commishing, mag mainstay for years, and the King of All S23 (VHL cup as player, VHLM cup as GM, and the winner of the now-defunct Fyodorov Challenge)...

I've always been a fan of the M. I think I might be the only person who ever left VHL Mag to write for VHLM Mag when it was a thing. Do you guys have new guys? If you don't have any vets but you have some new guys, you might need me more than some teams.

@STZ is definitely a good selling point, I like him, he's a good guy. Also, another big plus: having been a former GM at both levels, I definitely appreciate the acknowledgement of every member being important toward the overall success - a few star guys are great, but you need the middle guys to do their part as well if you want to have success. You seem to know that, you care about your team, you're doing things the right way.

Jericho and I were talking about Oslo briefly. It would be tempting because it's a lot of my old friends, but ultimately I think that very fact will end up keeping them out. Too many vets who know their way around, I wouldn't really be giving them anything they don't already have. I don't know much about Yukon though, or Sasky for that matter. I would definitely like to hear from everyone.

This all sounds good as well. Definitely a contender, especially with a few first gens with potential. I like that. I don't know BluesBoy that well. I saw him around a few times on here and SHL, but I left there a while ago.
