I am lit up for this upcoming season - but first - the WORLD CUP! 2. The drafts are also complete. Did you watch any of them go down? I did not. I was too busy preparing for the World CUp and training with my homies. We tight and we like it that way. 3. The World Cup is upon us! Who are you rooting for?! Totally rooting for WEstern Europe. It's been a while since we've seen Gold (well, held Gold) and I think we have a decent shot at it this go around. Let's do this. 4. How pumped is your player for the new season? Super pumped. Pumped harder than a ****star. I just signing a 4 year deal to stay in Calgary so buckle up folks, it's going to be a long and bumpy ride! 5. What time do you usually go to bed? 10:30. I have to. Otherwise, the kid will throw me for a loop and I won't get a proper sleep. 6. What is your favorite day of the week? Friyays. I like Friday afternoons the best. People generally stop giving a shit about work and then you've got the whole weekend ahead of you!

Phil Strasmore will be entering his third season in the VHL and is preparing to explode in production. Although he improved in all stats during his sophomore season, there is a lot of work, particularly offensively, that he can improve on. Below is a list of his goals (double entendre too) that he hopes to achieve this year: - Score more goals each season. At least 10. - get more assists, at least 60 each season - Pass the 1000 TPE mark. - collect 250 hits per season - win the Continental Cup. All in all, his main goal is the Continental Cup. Calgary have been a force in the league for the past few seasons but have failed to win a playoff series in a while. The harsher league critics are starting to call them the Calgary Maple Leafs. That hurts. You have no idea how much that hurts. what was not on his list was winning the Beketov Trophy. This has always been his career goal but he just thinks there are too many good playmakers in this league to compete with them for a shot at the trophy. Strasmore hopes for a happy and Healthy year.

1. Happy New Year @Tetricide! Obviously, Strasmore is gutted that once again we exited the playoffs with a whimper. However, it just increases the motivation to improve and do his best to improve in helping the team overcome this obstacle! 2. Three main things he will be focusing on - defense, puck handling, and checking. I think if his hands get better he will be better able to utilize his higher passing to defense and dish the puck. 3. Honestly, I've just been focused on the Wrangler's as opposed to the analytical dynamics of the league. Terrible but truthful answer! 4. I may check out the World Junior Showcase. They are always neat to see who excels or not. 5. I did it with my in-laws at our home. They were excited because they were over for my son's bedtime for the first time haha. We played boards games and watched Modern Family in the background. Was great. 6. The only planned vacation I have isn't really a vacation. Once my wife's mat leave is up I will be taking my entitled 5 weeks of parental leave at the beginning of June. I honestly cannot wait.

I will be doing my drunkcast over the next few days. I’ve just been too busy enjoying the family time with my 6 month old son. I have been planning it out and it should be a fun ride! I am looking forward to recording it! Not sure how much money we have raised so far during the Charity Drive but it’s safe to say we totally smashed the $1000 goal for my podcast to exist! anyway, look at me go - 10 minutes to go in the point task week and I hit the weekly cap. Hopefully the TPE gains can prove effective in the new year for Strasmore! merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!
