Hello - the frescoelmo agency is putting out their version of a first round mock draft for this year's VHL Entry Draft, also presented by frescoelmo. This mock draft will draw a lot of parallels to others, with a twist; it is based on member reputation! We took the top sixteen players currently based on TPE (put it in the airrrr) and re-ranked them based on, basically, how respected they are in the Victory Hockey League. Also frescoelmo will grade each team on a scale of ten if their latest player in the agency, Forum Content (read; goat), would want to play there. Here we go (party emoji): Round 1 Pick #1 - Davos - @Victor - LW Gianfranco Del Rocco - Davos would be happy to select this fine male with the top pick. It is basically a flip of the coin between him and Antonia anyways. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 5/10 Pick #2 - Seattle - @CowboyinAmerica - C Antonia Bucatini - The highest practice hour player slides to Seattle at the second pick? Bana is sprinting to the podium. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 8/10 Pick #3 - Riga - @frescoelmo - LW Forum Content - A lot of talent on Riga's first two lines would make this an interesting addition. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 4/10 Pick #4 - Vancouver - @fonziGG - RW Yermolai Nabokov - Absolute HOTS god who also churns out a good player here and there. Vancouver could definitely do worse. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 10/10 Pick #5 - Chicago - @Rhynex Entertainment - LW Miner vHLer - Is there better talent available? Yes. Would Cole be upset with this pick? No? WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 3/10 Pick #6 - Davos - @LucyXpher - D Lucy Leitner - This is a great value pick for Alex. The first blueliner comes off the board much later than anticipated. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 5/10 Pick #7 - Malmo - @Crstats23 - LW Chris Reynolds - Malmo lands a good developmental player who should be ready for primetime in Season 95. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 9/10 Pick #8 - Prague - @Pifferfish - G Jorgen Lovstrom - This realistically could be a play that new GM tetricide could make. They do not have a future netminder to replace Murdock. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 6/10 Pick #9 - Moscow - @eagle_3450 - LW Jean-Pierre Devote - Spartan gets what will likely be one of the best value adds of the draft (see: tampering) with eagles. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 4/10 Pick #10 - Moscow - @Nathan_8 - RW Nathan Ecker - pairing this fine gentleman on the same line for the next half decade? Sign me up. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 4/10 Pick #11 - New York - @chikn - C Vanuza Kolesinska - This just feels like a New York pick; they have two aging centers and will need to replace Lecavalier soon. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 3/10 Pick #12 - Davos - @UghSike - LW UghSike - If the namesake of the player agency falls this far, I think Davos had the best draft in recent memory. All-star lineup in round one. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 5/10 Pick #13 - Toronto - @Noodle Enjoyer - RW Annie Oaks - Easily the biggest drop for who is almost assured to be a top five selection, Moon will get giddy and type in ALL CAPS FOR ABOUT AN HOUR. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 2/10 Pick #14 - Helsinki - @Mutti - G Ondrej Vencko - On paper this makes sense and I could see this goalie landing in Finland as the future there. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 1/10 Pick #15 - Riga - @Schnee - D Benjamin Abenduct - I honestly don't think as a league we are talking about this guy enough. Certified banger for 8 seasons. Great first round for Riga if this happened. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 4/10 Pick #16 - Riga - @MSouthworth - D Gul Dukat - This name sounds familiar, probably from another league. Could be talked about as highly as Davos' first round if this guy fell to Riga. Could you imagine him and Abenduct together? Jeez. WOULD FRESCO PLAY THERE 4/10 ps. if I spelled anyone's player name wrong I did this in about 30 minutes. -mgmt

Call JG Wentworth - (Forum Content Speaks to VHL GM's)

As Forum Content gets ready for the upcoming Season 93 VHL Entry Draft, teams have started to reach out and request interviews with the young forward from Chile. Looking forward to getting selected to a parent team in the VHL is exciting, and the process during the welfare/pension era has changed from simply "taking the best player available" to something more consistent with hospitals matching with candidates. Who best fits with what we are trying to accomplish? What attributes or playing style are you most interested in spending practice hours on? Maxing out on weekly capped TPE? Not as big of a deal any more, at least in the first round or two. To summarize, here is what Forum Content is aspiring to be in the Victory Hockey League: - Does he know what kind of player he wants to be? no - Will he be capping out on weekly TPE? mostly (11/12 with pension) - Will he be available and active in locker rooms? I will check daily but it is subject to who else is in the locker room - Will he go Eli Manning and not play for your team? no - Will be go to the VHLE? yes Feel free to PM with any other questions thx 877 cash nowwww -

No, this is not about the next incredibly mediocre player from player-agent frescoelmo, however I should probably talk about him more. This is about a position I think the VHL should roll out (or bring back??), specifically to discord; hosting weekly games in a discord voice channel. Remember chat circa May 2020? Stayed up late playing free or paid games with your fellow VHL teammates and friends? Whatever happened to that? Just a bunch of clickers now (yes)? This job should be reserved for a member without a current VHL job and would warrant, in theory, 1-2 TPE per week. Would include setting up and moderating/planning no less than 2 weeknight games in discord, open to all members. Let's go with one free game and one paid game per week. Can be voted by members, or picked by the game manager. Who knows? The sky is the limit. Someone tell BOG to implement this thx. Forum Content

Forum Content – LW Santiago, Chile 6’2”, 220lbs Age: 22 Originally from the capital and largest city of Santiago, Forum Content was born on August 8th, 2001, having reached age twenty-two only a few months prior to this writing. An only child, Content’s parents were ex-patriots from the great country United States of America, who left to start a new life after their federally mandated retirements kicked in at age 55. With little to lose, the parents traveled the world for about a year before settling in a seaside town called Vina del Mar, where they purchased a condominium along the coast. It was there that Forum grew up and learned to speak both Spanish and English languages as an adolescent. Additionally, Forum was exposed early in life to volunteering through the local community center that his parents often visited to teach classes to other youths. These classes, whether attending or helping with, generated a distinguished interest in other cultures around the world. From an early age, Content had decided he wanted to pursue a future in design and architecture. Vina del Mar’s coastal importance includes a few things Content really drew from, namely the various high-rise buildings and gardens that constantly drew both admiration and curiosity. Forum had expressed his interest in studying abroad through either a foreign-exchange program or boarding school, to which his parents were receptive. Although the latter sounded more comfortable, due to the obvious financial obligations, Forum had applied to Chile’s exchange program, based out of Santiago. After a few unsuccessful attempts, Content was lucky enough to be selected into the program, with which he was sent for a semester abroad to live and study in Zurich, Switzerland. It was there that he quickly grew a colossal disdain for the city of Davos. “What a piece of shit,” his host family would proudly exclaim with nearly uncomfortable frequency at the dinner table. He never understood why, but he was not allowed to wear purple under any circumstances within his host’s household. Zurich was mesmerizing by any definition, and what he had grown to understand was impressive architecture in his home country paled in comparison once he familiarized himself with the intricacies of Switzerland’s financial hub. Living with two boys, he learned to appreciate hockey as the local sport and would watch it with them outside of his studies. “Why don’t you play?” one brother asked,” do they have ice in Chile?” To which, Content explained that the only sport you are allowed to play in South America is soccer (the real name of the sport). After a few weeks of instigating conversation and poking the proverbial bear, Content rented some skates and spent a few weeks learning the trades of skating on ice. It wasn’t long before the next step, which was organized hockey. Skating with a stick in my hand? What’s next? He thought to himself. He had just learned how to stay on his feet! Fast forward a few years, and you wouldn’t have recognized the hardened lean male from the surf town boy who loved to sketch buildings in his free time. Content took about two years to find himself, but the hockey experience eventually picked up. First it was the skating that really took off; swift and long strides that could help him accelerate with ease. Second came the vision; Content appreciated this and reminds everyone that his awareness on the ice is due to him “not really knowing where to go” when playing for the first few months, so instead he would just watch (yes, his coaches typically benched him when he was caught doing this). There were clear holes in his game, but even after the first few months of organized play, Forum tried to stick around for another semester. It didn’t work out. Back in Chile, Forum begged and begged his parents to help him find another outlet to continue playing. The only option was in the capital Santiago, which was a two-hour drive each way. After a brief hiatus, Content was allowed to attend private school in Santiago, where a club team had their foot in a prep league for hockey. Content moved back a few hours east and settled into yet another new living situation. Looking back, Forum would tell you that the prep league had become somewhat boring rather quickly, as he began overwhelming the opposition almost instantly once he got onto the ice. This was nothing compared to Zurich. He thought to himself. Immediately recognizing his mistake, Content put his studies on the back burner and investigated prospective schools in America where he could, at the very least, prepare for a potential future in hockey. Worst-case scenario, he would be able to get a good degree and continue his studies. A week into his winter break, Content found the VHLM and wanted to put his name into the league for consideration. He attended a prospect camp in Dallas, Texas with his family the following spring, and although he was not strongly considered for the draft, coaches had suggested he stick around and hone his skills. With growth, they said, Content would be able to work his way into the league. Three years later and a few seasons under his belt at a local college in nearby Waco, Texas, Content was accepted into the VHLM Entry Level Draft for their 92nd iteration of the event, and was lucky enough to be picked by Saskatoon tenth overall.

Prospect Scouting Report Forum Content – LW Saskatoon Wild Drafted tenth overall in the VHLM’s Latest Dispersal Draft, Forum’s rise from the South American country of Chile has been just as stunning and the mountains he grew up around. Coming in and expecting to play second fiddle to the likes of his teammates and captains (he was Saskatoon’s only pick in the first 29 draft slots), Forum threw everyone for a loop with his on-ice vision and awareness, as well as his demeanor and dedication to perfecting his craft off the ice. Having played almost half of his first season with the Wild, we will quickly review Content’s performance and talents to date. Already There Content could probably play in the VHLE right now if the opportunity presented itself, simply because he can find his teammates and get them the puck with ease. It has been almost confounding that no team has really been able to stop Content and his offensive vision. Averaging well over an assist per game, the Wild have been supported by Forum during the team’s slow start. There is no need to guess who is crossing over the blue line with the puck; Content has been dangling through defensemen with ease all season due to his elevated puck handling. As his teammates advance around him throughout the season, it will be exciting to see the counting stats perhaps get even more ridiculous. Could Use Some Work All we could say with respect to Content’s amazing passing ability left us with a little to desire in the same vein with his wrist shot. A player of his level and value, at this stage anyways, should be getting goals in droves. Seeing as his teammates have started to figure out their roles on the team, this is something we are interesting to see whether or not Content develops more consistency getting the puck behind the net. Forum’s skating and speed has been adequate, but for a guy who can make an opposing players trip themselves up trying to secure the puck, he wouldn’t have to expend as much energy if he could get a quicker start passing by them. Almost Pedestrian We see this with every player at this stage because there just aren’t enough hours of practice yet to really define a player’s role or model, but we do wonder if Forum Content will ever develop a defensive game. Is he a two-way forward if we look ahead a few years? Probably not. Granted, he is a forward and not necessarily a center, but the lack of any face-off experience is somewhat alarming. Lastly, a lot of the intangibles are missing early in Content’s development. There are no real signs of poise, leadership, or grit that really excite us. Early Indications Forum Content is a pass-first, think-second forward that dazzles us with his playmaking ability as much as his willingness to round-out his game worries us. The real development we are looking forward to will come in his second half with Saskatoon, as Forum will soon be capped at his practice hour limit for the season.
