Dmaximus served as the GM of the Philadelphia Reapers from season 68 until season 77. During their time as the GM of the Reapers, Dmaximus had an impressive regular season record with 335 wins and only 264 losses. Despite their regular season success, Philadelphia would often struggle in the playoffs and would have a hard time getting out of the first round. In season 75, Philadelphia put together an incredible playoff run, getting past Yukon in 4, San Diego in 5, and finally defeating Mexico City in 6 to win the second Founder’s Cup in franchise history.

Testimonials:

@Ricer13
Dmax was always a team first guy. The majority of what went on in his LR was private as it was a team only style LR. From a GM perspective Dmax was always a very easy going manager to talk to when it came to anything. Any player who came through Philly spoke highly of their experience. That is important as the M is the gateway to the VHL and retention is key. He was one of the good ones that helped new members learn and enjoy their time before moving up to the big leagues.

@InstantRockstar

When you look back at the tenure of Dmax in Philly, stemming all the way back to his hiring in S68 you can't help but see an amazing, talented mind at work. Dmax seemed to get along with jus2t about everyone and fit into the "GM" mold in the minor league very well. He is bright, ambitious and really charismatic, was eager like most of us to get his feet wet and show that he was truly capable of being in his role. I know his role started kind of on the downswing with an elimination from playoff contention but since that first season of his, he never looked back and truly put together a dominant force in the VHLM. Philly was dominant because of him from S69 to S73 and his knowledge proved he knew what he was doing, as he would rebuild for only one short season in S74 before finally capturing his coveted founders cup the very next season. I think in the end, Dmax left a tenure he, and anyone could be proud of, on top of the world and just an excellent, class act. Nothing but respect for Dmax

@KaleebtheMighty

He consistently brought together the locker room with a unity that was unique to the Philadelphia Reapers. It was a different way from other teams, and it helped shape me into the GM I am now. And I wouldn’t be nearly as good if it wasn’t for his stewardship.

The franchise leader in games played, goals, assists, and points, Bud Knight was the Philadelphia Reapers during his tenure. Although Bud Knight never won an individual or team award, they did put together some pretty solid seasons, recording a career high 49 goals in season 71, and 123 points in season 70.

Testimonial:

@DMaximus

Bud Knight was already an international superstar prior to joining the Reapers thanks to a successful advertising campaign. Drafting him was a huge move for the Reapers. It really solidified the Reapers as a dominant franchise in the VHLM. Shortly after joining the team, Bud Knight made it known he wanted to be a Reaper for life. He lived the team motto “Once a Reaper, always a Reaper.” This commitment to the team (and roster rule changes along the way) is why he will likely always be the all-time franchise leader in most statistical categories. He helped define what it means to be a Reaper and his induction into the Reaper Hall of Fame is well earned and well deserved.

Genghis Khan is currently ranked 5th among Reapers in all-time games played, 2nd for goals with 139, and 3rd for points with 271. Being drafted with the 55th overall pick in the S76 VHLM draft, Khan would go on to have a great VHLM career with the Reapers and become a fixture on the first line for two seasons. Although, Khan never won an individual award, they did crack the 50 goal mark and 100 points in season 77 and would be a valuable part of the Reapers forward core during season 78. After playing for the Reapers Khan would go on to play for the New York Americans in the VHL.

Testimonial:

@KaleebtheMighty

Khan was solid all around for the Reapers. Drafted back in S76, they spend 3 full seasons with the team, and I got to see him in action from a management standpoint for 2 of those seasons. He was consistent, reliable, and a presence on the ice that helped the Reapers continue their great level of play. 3 seasons of commitment and production make Khan an easy add to the HOF for the Philadelphia Reapers; it was an honor to have him wear the Reapers sweater in the VHLM.

Darius Marimoto is currently ranked 5th in all-time assists among Reapers, 6th for points, and is tied for 5th in goals. Marimoto was drafted 58th overall for the Reapers in the S73 draft. Although they never broke the 100 point mark Marimoto consistently improved throughout his Reapers tenure scoring 62, 74, and 89 points in each of their respective 3 seasons in Philadelphia. Furthermore, Marimoto was an integral part of the season 75 Reapers Founder’s Cup. After leaving Philadelphia, Marimoto joined the Chicago Phoenix and would go on to win a Continental Cup in season 76 with Chicago.

Testimonial - @DMaximus

If anyone is wondering what it means to be a Reaper, they need to look no further than Darius Marimoto. He lived and breathed Reaper for not only the time he was on the team, but well beyond that. A great, consistent performer, a fantastic locker room presence, and a great person, Marimoto is the textbook definition of a Reaper.

S73 was a lean year for the Reapers, our first selection wasn’t until the 5th round. Darius was overlooked by all teams and fell to us. I’m not sure if that put a chip on his shoulder or what, but Marimoto excelled on the Reapers. He was a great leader, fitting into the role of captain immediately. He remained captain for 3 consecutive seasons, a testament to his loyalty and leadership.

Of course, the highlight of his time on the Reapers was our cup winning season, S75. We had a great team. Great teams need great leaders. Marimoto provided us with that extraordinary leadership and led one of the greatest teams in the history of the VHLM, the S75 Reapers.

Tobias Reinhart currently ranks 4th among Reaper’s goalies in games played (100), and wins (65). While with the Reapers Reinhart served as the captain for S79 and would always be a vocal member of the locker room. Additionally Reinhart led the Reapers to 2 consecutive very strong campaigns and recorded a 88.6 SV% (5th), and a 2.89 GAA (6th). Although the Reapers didn’t find any playoff success during Reinhart’s tenure his positive attitude and outlook of the league made him an incredible leader and a positive influence on new members to join the league. Congratulations Tobias Reinhart!

Testimonial:

@KaleebtheMighty

Tobias Reinhart, although his time with the Reapers was short, was a staple for the team. His attitude and commitment to both the organization and the members in the locker room was profound in all aspects. Each day, he approached the team with a tremendous attitude and leadership that earned him a letter for the season I GMed him. I could not have been more pleased with his contributions to the team and his level of effort to make the locker room better for every member. He is absolutely deserving of this honor and I look forward to seeing how Tobias Reinhart's career shapes in the VHL!

Zeljko Rangajec currently stands at 9th most points out of all Reapers. They also are 2nd for most hits and 2nd most shots blocked for the Reapers. Those are the numbers of an elite physical defensive defender in my books. Their former GM Kaleeb The Mighty has prepared the testimony for them.

Testimonial:

@KaleebtheMighty

Zeljko was a fantastic player for the Reapers. What made them so lethal was their contributions in both the physical game and setting up the play. Not only did he have a point per game throughout his tenure, but 193 out of 216 points with the Reapers were assists. They held the blue line well and made the big plays happen by getting the ball rolling. If there was ever an instance where we needed someone to hold the line, we turned to Zeljko. I was thrilled to have him on the Reapers when I was the GM and feel like he definitely deserves to be enshrined in the Philadelphia Reapers Hall of Fame!

Jacob Carson currently has the 3rd most wins of all Reapers Goaltenders and 3rd place for shutouts. They have the most playoff wins out of Reapers Goalies. The best playoff saves percentage and the most shutouts in the playoffs. These are the numbers of an elite playoff-performing goaltender.

Testimonial:

@DMaximus

If you look at Jacob Carson’s career regular-season stats, you might wonder why he is Reaper Hall of Fame worthy. After being drafted by the Reapers in the 4th round in S74, he provided a strong backbone on a meager team during S74. Unfortunately for him, that hurt his overall regular season stats. If you want to know why he’s in the Hall, look at the cup-winning S75 season. S75 was a huge year in the VHLM with a lot of great teams. The Reapers were stacked with a ton of talent. Carson stood above everyone else during the playoff run. He deservedly won the Skylar Rift (Playoff MVP) award with an amazing .921 save%. Without the amazing performance of Carson between the pipes, I don’t think the Reapers win the cup. On top of that, Carson embodied the traits of a Reaper and contributed to the winning atmosphere that elevated the S75 Reapers to all-time great status.

    Bob Helminen was an amazing player for the Reapers, they currently are in the top 4 for points for the franchise and managed to do so in under 150 games. There’s no doubt in my mind that Bob deserves a spot in this hall of fame. Their former General Manager DMaximus has prepared testimony for them.

Testimonial:

@DMaximus Reaper GM S68-S77

Bob Helminen showed off his flashy scoring talent right from the get-go. He surpassed the 100-point total in each of his 2 seasons with the Reapers. This includes a fantastic 60 goal, 133 total point Season 72. His career +/- rating with the Reapers is an amazing +118. His hockey sense let him see the whole ice when he was on it. He could predict the flow of the game and get himself into the right positions to make crucial plays happen. That hockey sense contributed to his greatness, evidenced by his 16 game-winning goals. Even with that gifted sense, Bob came to work every day, pushing himself to get better and better.

Bob Helminen was a driven player who always surpassed expectations. His drive for greatness embodies what it means to be a Reaper.

    John Poremba was undeniably one of the greatest goaltenders in Philadelphia. They posted a 50 Win season and won two Benoit Devereux awards, as well as a single Mitch Higgins for being the league MVP in season 73, a season where the Reapers really struggled. Dmaximus was more than willing to give another testimony for Poremba.

Testimonial:

There’s not a lot that needs to be said about John Poremba because his awards speak for themselves. Poremba won back-to back Benoit Devereux Awards (Best VHLM Goaltender) in Seasons 72 and 73. He also won the Mitch Higgins Award for being the league MVP in Season 73. Season 72 saw Poremba lead a strong Reaper squad for the entire season. A season that unfortunately ended in a Game 7 overtime loss in the semifinals to the eventual champions, Saskatoon. He notched 50 wins that season along with a .904 Save% and a 2.35 GAA.

Because of the team’s all-in push during the previous season, there were only a few players on the roster for Season 73. Poremba stood on his head night after night to drag a skeleton crew of a team into the playoffs. His .921 Save% is one of the highest in the history of the league. His amazing efforts were recognized by the league, which deservedly named him MVP that season. Poremba is one of the all-time greatest goalies in the history of the VHLM. It is an honor to call him a Reaper and to have him enshrined in the Reaper Hall of Fame.

Red Gaming was a very important player for the Philadelphia Reapers. Not only was He an amazing player, but also a fantastic leader and locker room presence. He was crucial to our team during the S82 playoff run. There was something important about Red Gaming that you like to see in all players, and that is the fact that he never quit. He tried his hardest every single night and that is why his Win-Loss Ratio is so good, maybe his save percentage isn’t outstanding but he is worthy of being in the Reapers Hall of Fame because he was the living embodiment of what a captain should be and what a goalie should be. Red Gaming is 7th for all-time wins as a Goalie in the Reaper Franchise, he always knew how to keep a game close and give us a chance, this is reflected in his 13 Overtime losses which currently places him second in Reapers history, it might not be the most impressive stat to have but it does show his resilience.

I asked @Alex to write his testimonial as Alex was very fond of Red Gaming and was his General Manager for S81

Testimonial:

Alex Reapers GM S80-S81

Drafted 81st overall by Houston, I knew that Red Gaming would be a cornerstone piece for any franchise so trading for them was probably the single best trade I made in the VHLM. Red Gaming quickly became one of the most vocal players in the Philadelphia locker room and was always keen to help new members. Becoming the captain of the team in season 82, Red Gaming continued to be one of the most active players in not just Philadelphia, but the VHLM as a whole. It was a true honor to have Red Gaming in Philadelphia and I'm excited to see where his career goes.

Sebastien Dokis spent Three excellent seasons with the Philadelphia Reapers, they never wore a letter on their jersey and often kept to themselves but that doesn't diminish their importance to this team. They are a top 5 point producer in the history of the Reapers, sitting at 8th in Assists and 7th in goals for the franchise at the time of being Inducted.

I decided, having been his GM for his final season as a Reaper and being the one that brought them into this league, that it would be fitting to write the testimonial for Dokis.

Testimonial:

Sebastien Dokis was an outstanding player for the Philadelphia Reapers. They brought their A-game every single night and never gave up on a play, he could make magic happen every single shift which is represented in his 100 Goals as a Reaper. Although he wasn’t a locker room leader he had amazing chemistry with his line-mates when on the ice. There were only a few days that he was kept off the score sheets but he never let that affect him. He had a hunger to score goals and was reliable with and without the puck. Dokis was also a playoff performer which cemented him a spot on this list as he had just under a point per game when the pressure was at it's highest. It was an honor to be the manager for such a player and we wish him luck in his Career!

      When looking for the next player to induct into the Reapers, Gregory’s name stood out from the rest. They were one of our top point getters in the history of our franchise and they also had a long career already in the VHL, it was a little surprising that Gregory wasn’t already inducted.
      Gregory is currently ranked 8th among all Reapers for points right behind Darius Marimoto. Bates has the 5th most goals for the franchise and 12th most assists. Bates was an absolute juggernaut for the team during their time with the Reapers and I figured now would be a good time to honor them by being the one to induct them into the Reapers Hall Of Fame!

       I have asked former Reaper’s GM @KaleebtheMighty to write a testimonial for Bates, as they were GM at the time Gregory was a member of the roster.

Testimonial:

        Gregory Bates is one of the select few in the Reaper's history to crack 100 goals. Additionally, with 216 games played in Philly, they finished with 224 points total. Some players struggle to make their mark on a team, but Bates made his name known in S79 with a 110-point performance. Regardless of the situation, it was nearly effortless to plug and play Gregory Bates into any spot in the lineup. He was a great player to wear the Reapers uniform. While there wasn’t successful on the team in the playoffs during his tenure, he was a staple in Philadelphia. The team would not have been the same without him!

       It's a great honor to be the one to officially induct Alex into the Reaper's Hall Of Fame. There was no doubt in my mind that Alex deserved to be inducted one day, after all, he did win the Jack Reilly (TOP VHLM GM) in S81 for a reason, being just the third Reaper GM to do so. I served as Alex’s AGM for both seasons he GM’d the team, and since my first day in the organization, Alex felt like a veteran of the league even though it was only his first season as a GM. I think Alex is just a natural at this, and I think many people around this league agree, seeing how quickly Alex became a GM in the big leagues.
        Alex’s influence on the team was felt long after he was promoted to GM Davos in the VHL, as the Reapers finished 3rd in the VHLM standings, which was just one example of how he set the team up for success for years to come and I think that just reflects how important he was for the organization.
        If my testimony wasn’t enough to prove why Alex deserves to be in the Reapers Hall Of Fame, I have asked the @KaleebtheMighty to write up a Testimonial for him, as Alex served as his AGM.

Testimonial:

        I remember way back when I was GM-ing Philadelphia. I had just put out a posting for an AGM position. One member stood above the rest; he submitted a resume for the position and just like that Alex was hired. He walked into Philly, and immediately made an impact, he helped transform the Reapers into a great place to play and introduced many cool traditions on the team, like the Reapers Key and the Shrine to Weird Al.

      Without a doubt, he was deserving to take over the GM position on that team when I moved up to the VHLE and continued to thrive. Even still, he has done incredibly well regardless of where he is! But his time with the Reapers is legendary, and he deserves to be honored as a builder of the Philadelphia Reapers!
