Sim recap:

- I bet all 7 shot blocks from Creed came against Tallinder. Post Calgary Talli is money

- speaking of which, we do play Calgary a lot. We also do hand them L's a lot too

- 91 shots to the net. That's right, we don't want to play boring hockey no more

- Riga Reign is your future S82 Continental Cup champions!

London Edges Davos In Shootout

LONDON - In a back-and-forth affair in which neither team ever truly seemed in control of the game, it took the quick hands of Nils Godlander @Moon to decide the contest, as his shootout goal lifted the London United to a 5-4 victory over the HC Davos Dynamo.

Brian Schmigel @Bigb33 and Gregory Bates @Tyler led the way for Davos (7-10-1) with three points each, including the two third period goals that put the Dynamo ahead 4-3. However, London (12-5-1) tied the game on a late goal by Logain Ablar @Kelsier, earning him and That Dude @Cornholio their second points of the game. With Cole Pearce @N0HBDY and Jurgis Kalvelis Blazevicius @efiug posting clean slates in the overtime period, it came down to the shootout, with Godlander tallying the only goal of the shootout to take the extra point for London.

This also turned out to be the final game in a Davos uniform for Luc Tessier @KC15, who was traded to the Prague Phantoms in the hours after the game. Nicholas Mariani @Mistxh J, acquired in the same trade, will make his debut for the Dynamo against the New York Americans, as London travels to Washington D.C. to take on the Dragons.
