1. Tampa. I fucking hate Vegas. They're extremely lucky and fortunate that their chemistry is clicking. A bunch of 20-30 point players who seemingly play well together. If not that, the NHL totally bought them a ticket hey? What a coincidence.

2. Passed, unless we're talking VHLM. If so, of course. We'll talk about this but anything to bring the cup to Oslo.

3. I want Kovalev in Seattle. Great player, better person. I have faith in the player you're wishing to become. Other GM's fuck off.

4. Enjoying it. Not as active as I want - but between working my ass off with work, other leagues, GMing and now this magazine, I'm a busy boy.

5. Will Smith. While some Post songs are catchy and shit, he's garbage. Turn the music off at a concert and it would be silent - he doesn't sing and you can barely understand him. Rather talk to Will.

You just jelly that Vegas is killing it. If they just snuck into the playoffs i'd buy your theory. Id they just won the 1st round in 7 games i'd buy your theory. They are cup bound. They beat the favorite to win it all. They beat them in 5. So to say it's luck is very narrow minded.

New questions

Why does Seattle suck so much? you do know you wont win this season.

Why do you suck even more then your team?

You say you don't? not a surprise but point is you have won one cup in your seasons as GM. A fact that does not look too good on you. What do you say to your doubters? or atleast me the mother fucking doubting king?

1 Neither will V2A, though, Seattle's chances are better.

2. It happens. Can't be great every season. Though, as a GM, I have more "GMoTY" awards than V2A has goalie awards? right?

3. Penis.

1.) On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate yourself as GM of the Bears?

2.) You've been tagged as a GM that can be difficult to negotiate with. Do you agree? Why or why not?

3.) Do you ever wish you weren't a GM and could just enjoy the league from a player's perspective only?

4.) Do you believe it would be a positive or a negative if more top players reached free agency?

5.) On a scale of 1-10, how successful would you rate the two latest recruitment drives through Youtube?

6.) Did you watch the royal wedding?

7.) Ask me questions!

@Banackock

1. Based off overall successes and what not, maybe a 7. We've had some great success and finally got that cup. For longevity, rebuilds and all the work and such i put into my players (and all those who have stated they're here for me etc), I'd say 7.8. I'm not too sure if that's too harsh on my self. I feel like ive been a great, charismatic GM but am trying to realistically rate myself.

2. False, but also true. Everyone has their own prices. You ask for a player whose untouchable on another team and the price is crazy. Same here. You ask for their top guys or others and sometimes they value them more than you for different reasons. Team needs, cap, team positions, the person etc. I've strayed away from the consistent contact and have found more patience in my ways as I've matured into the role as a GM in the VHL.

3. I love being GM. Do I wish i could enjoy the league? Of course. Additionally, the critics at times got to be a lot, however and again, with experience and maturing. In the role you look passed that - know people talk and it's fair and reasonable and at the end of the day do what's best for the guys on the team. I'm going to miss GMing a lot when i step away and fear as though I may regret that action. I have some left in the tank. Unsure how much but Yeah!

4. It would make it more interesting but at the end of the day I see it only best for it to come from the league expanding, proper and effective retention and clearly, a large member and player base. If those come, so will greater FA's.

5. 3/10. Lots of people joined, most left. We did gain some decent members but even those aren't what you'd consider great (some may be, most aren't). We got the right idea. I'm not bashing. We found a significant and great way to recruit. Now we need to find the cure for retention.

6. Didn't watch it but she's hot. Good for him!

7. I will once I eat and shower. Long day working in the rain and hail :o

1. Out of all of your players, who do you regret retiring early?

2. If the league contracted one team, who would it be?

3. After GM'ing the Bears, will you go back to the minors to GM or take a break?

4. Is this the Bears last year at competing?

5. In your GM career, what was the best trade you had ever made?

1. Blake Campbell was the hardest. I don't overly regret it as I would have been on shit teams as the influx of goalies was already crazy. GM's wanted young guys, not ones closer to their "time". His was the worst though. Federov will be my first player ever to reach his actual "retirement" date ?

2. Tough question. I know Seattle was in the mix, but I don't actual'y think it would happen. If and when it ever became a potential reality, I would nix it prior and offer to relocate etc wish I know would help. I love the Helsinki name, logo etc but I would say them, Quebec, Riga or Calgary. More leaning towards Riga.

3. Another great question. I love both leagues and I love GMing Seattle. I'm very fortunate to have been able to and to finally win  cup too. I don't know how long I have left as a GM, but I feel as though I'd regret stepping down if it was done now so my time clearly hasn't come. Could be in a season, could be in 5. I know I want 500 wins in my career and to hold some form of Bear records. First cup in like 16 seasons is nice and it's one of very few. I love contributing to the site as a GM. It's my way of helping members out and boosting activity. I feel as though I thrive in the role.

I'm currently the Assistant, or Co GM of the Oslo Storm and am helping the younger guys out. I like to stay active with new members and shit. I feel as though a break may be needed for a season, but I'd find myself back into the VHLM or VHL sooner rather than later. Though, I feel out of shape in the VHLM talking with GM's. It's been almost 20 seasons since I was in it. CRAZY.

4. I'm gonna say yes. It's time to give the guys a great succeeding home. They deserve it. It's the best move for Seattle. We've had great success and up until later in this year, the group of guys were extremely involved, active and loving it. It'll be tough to move them, especially a couple of them.

5. Shit. That would require me to have to go back into the vault and take a look. Just going off the top of my head, the deal that brought in Parechkin @DollarAndADream really helped out the team. Last year, the way we juggled the cap, made some moves and still won the cup was good too. Another memorable deal for me was bringing in Jakub Holik @Beketov. He's likely still one of my most favourite goalies to play in this league. More recently, bringing in Johnsson @Quik was something that boosted us big time. I think it was a move that boosted us quite a bit. We may not agree 100% of the time, but Seattle has benefitted in more than one ways from having a member like Quik on the team.

IMO, I think some of my better trades could be coming this off-season. Time will tell :)

I don't know lots of porn star names either, but still dig their performance.

1) What is Seattle looking to get out of the upcoming draft?

2) Who wins the cup this upcoming season?

3) Any prospects you have your eye on?

4) where have you been?

5) rebuild? or cup run ?

1. We're looking to get a mixture of loyalty and talent. Of course, the goal is always the best player available while providing them with the best options and opportunities. But, loyalty is something we want to. We're excited to draft. We've given up much on this season.

2. New York. Calgary hopefully makes it to the finals against them. I'd be happy if either won, but those are the 2 I'm rooting for. Or Helsinki. :D

3. The 3 are on my radar. @Victor @Beketov and @street. Victor is enticing because he will be loyal and likely good. He's a chill, dude too. Beketov is highly active, but his "chasing cup" mentality concerns me. Similar semi to street but what attracts me to him is that defense is harder to come by and while he may not want to be the best player, it would be a great starting point. Especially owning the 4th OV pick too and recreating a GM player this season.

4. Working my ass off. trying to make money so I can have nice things in life. Also trying to be less involved in the VHL time wise while still contributing to help the site grow and shit.

5. Easy rebuild now ?

4. Who would you see as the ideal next GM for Seattle?

5. How long do you think you still want to continue as General Manager?
