I think they're fantastic! It's always such a pleasure to see new faces and new chemistry whenever waiver day comes around!

3. which team do you think has most defied the expectations from the preseason?

Honestly it's gonna be a cop out answer, but I'm gonna say us! There weren't massive expectations for this group going into this season, and yet the team has put up a respectable season and could make some waves in the playoffs if the stars align that way.

4. You get to go back in time and watch a movie or tv show from the beginning for the first time again, which one are you picking?

Revenge of the Sith, man when I first watched that movie back in like 2005, my entire life trajectory changed. I wonder what it would do to me today if I watched it for the first time again

5. You keeping up with the NHL standings? Do you think the Habs or Blue jackets are getting the wildcard spot?

My brain says it's the Habs, but my heart desperately wants it to be the Blue Jackets

1. Yea...I read that earlier today and have been thinking about this since then. I really dont have a clue. I am still learning all of the rules we have right now. So I guess I should give this one a go in a few months when I know more.

2. Considering I am probably the newest, I think it is great! HAHA Seriously, I really like the way things are set up here and I am looking forward to seeing how we do this season.

3. Well, I just rejoined yesterday...so I have no idea on how everyone is doing...so I will say us!

4. MASH. I remember the last episode...I would love to watch the whole series...a true-binge experience without knowing how it will all end

5. Not really....but since I am from Ohio...lets say the Blue Jackets!

2. It has been great having more people in the locker room! Sim leagues to me are to meet new people so I always enjoy new teammates

3. I'll say San Diego because I expected them to be really good and it seems like they just haven't had the sim luck

4. The Wire.  I'm on my fourth rewatch of the series and it is still sooooooo good.  Friday Night Lights a close second

1.  I am not.  I still feel pretty new here so I'm not sure I'd know enough for the job.  Plus I don't have a ton of free time right now sadly so I wouldn't be able to devote as much time as I would want to guide a franchise

2. I would introduce a steroids stat that would juice all of your other stats but then you'd have regression hit you harder than non-steroid people.

1. This is going to be controversial but I think the team that scores more goals than the other team is going to win the games, that will be the deciding factor of the series imo

2. I'm commissioning someone to make a bot that posts links to all uncapped TPE tasks in every locker room

3. I'll be in the VHL draft!  I am open to any team honestly, just hoping to end up somewhere fun with a good locker room

4. If it is amount of time it has to be a video game like counterstrike, brood war or diablo 2 (maybe rimworld?).  I've probably watched the Wire the most of any tv show

5. Maybe a less reckless/annoying Tom Wilson

1. Honestly it's the people so far. Everyone I've gotten a chance to interact with meaningfully has been wonderful. I loved my time in Houston and am excited to get going with the folks here in Vegas!

2. Oh heck yeah, I want my buddy @pboomg on the Aces.

3. First, I'm looking forward to the majors draft. This is my first time being drafted to the majors, which itself is really exciting. But past that, I'm very pumped for this upcoming season. We're going to be competitive and this should be a fun bunch in the LR. 

4. I've been embracing my millennial alt rock-loving self lately. Shimmer by Fuel, Monster by Paramore, Like a Stone by Audioslave, Linkin Park's revival The Emptiness Machine, among others.

Well, seeing as I just returned from 4 years of inactivity just because it was VHL's 100th season, I lack the dignity to give an appropriate answer to this question. I am having fun making sigs again and talking a bit of shit in the discord, though.

 

2. The draft is looming nearer, are there any players in it you would like to have as a teammate here in Vegas?

I'd like to be teammates with all of the existing Vegas players, maybe, if Vegas drafts me. 

 

3. What are you most looking forward to with the next season?

Hoping my player is blessed by the sim and performs to an above-average level, pretty much. Can't expect much in a debut VHLM season imo. 

 

4. What's a song that you've had stuck in your head recently or have not been able to stop listening to?

It is a song by Kanye West aka Ye who's title and overall subject matter is not appropriate for the VHL, VHLM, and certainly not to be talked about in a press conference. 

 

5. Out of all the teams left in the NHL playoffs who would you least like to see win the Stanley Cup?

Toronto Maple Leafs without a doubt. For me, they are the most hated team in the NHL due to their shit legacy and obnoxious fanbase. 

 

6. Do you think the NHL should do away with ads on the jerseys or do you think its not a big deal?

I think the current advertising situation on jerseys is not a big deal. If the NHL can generate significant income based on 2 small ads on jerseys/helmets, I am fine with it. However, it is a slippery slope and having jerseys covered in advertisements would be much more annoying, but still, I wouldn't stop watching due to advertisements on jerseys.

1. We have the best LR in the league right now because of this sudden influx of absolutely gut-splittingly hilarious people. This team is outrageous and has to be up there in terms of talent to boot. We're primed for a run. LFG.

1. Well since I was in it have to say an A++++++! But seriously...I still think a B+/A-. The team did a great job addressing our needs while not giving away the future to bring in younger talent.

A+ baby! I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to draft every single one of our draft picks, and some of them fell way further than they should have.

1. I just joined here but i can already tell Sadie knows what she is doing and have no doubt that our Draft was excellent
