1. Well, we're down 3-1 in our series against Warsaw. Is there any changes in our game that we have to make to put a comeback into play?

 

Pretty much a moot point since we bowed out so quickly without much of a roar.

 

2. What direction do you think we should go in next season? With Driver retiring, we need a starting goalie if we want to contend.

 

A goalie is essential.  However, we need to score more as well.

 

3. What's a good trash talk to use in game 5?

 

I would have said "Bring it On!!".  But given the circumstances, "Good Luck the rest of the way"  would be more appropriate.

 

4. Would you rather chop down a tree using only a golf putter or empty a swimming pool using only a mug?

 

Depends on the size of the tree or the swimming pool.  I have likely chopped down a few small trees with my putter already.

 

5. Would you rather eat a whole banana or a whole orange? (including the peel if that was confusing)

 

Orange all the way.

 

6. Would you rather have a squirrel as a pet or a fox as a pet?

 

A fox definitely.

1. very, it seemed like we were actually getting some simluck for this season and then we still lose

2. im not sure honestly, we didn't have weakneses anywhere we justndidn't perform

1. It seems we are at least somewhat cursed. Not a fantastic feeling for sure, but there's always next season.

2. I mean, Warsaw is a very strong team, so we can at least give ourselves that. But also why did Driver suddenly lose all his experience and ability? SMH

3. Fixing my erratic AF earning, I need to establish a routine to max earn every week

4. Hell yes, my first as a GM and we got 9th overall with Riga.

It’s not as disappointing for myself because it’s my rookie year which could have ended up much worse. I do feel for the S75 players though as they have been patient with the growth of this team.

Because SimonT hates Riga.

I believe a successful logo change will help forget about the past  We need a new goalie first but I think the most important is getting the offense going through either FA or a shakeup.

Id never put mayo on my fries but I would dip them in some sort of spicy/Thai/chipotle mayo.

As much as it was great to finally make the playoffs, I was disappointed that we couldn't make a deeper run.  Maybe next season, however, our window is closing fast what with regression and all.

 

2. Why do you think that we were only able to win once in the postseason?

 

Our biggest wealknes, which was evident all season and which was exposed in the playoffs was our inability to score more goals.

 

3. What do you feel you need to improve personally going into next season?

 

Personally, I will try to counteract regression.  Likely no real improvement, but little deterioration.

 

4. Are you hyped for the draft? 

 

I can't say that I am as I don't follow it so much.

 

5. What are your plans for the offseason?

 

Consider this whole regression business.  Maybe write an article about it.

1. pretty well I guess. I still haven't figured out how depreciation works tho

1. Trying to fight off the rust, depreciation is gonna hit hard

2. I got to go back to Sweden for a bit to see the fam, but I never stop training

3. I'm not sure why McJake isn't in the top five scorers yet, he's gonna pot 110 points this season

4. I think a good mix of both is key, but ice is harder to come by.

6. I'd say either heavy snow, because it's awesome to watch, or a brisk 15 degrees, perfect for going outside.

To be honest, faced with "depreciation"  I am kind of working on everything....or nothing...depends on how you look at it.

Ya, I did.  Hung out at a cottage on Northern Ontario.  Just chillaxed for a couple of weeks.

 

3.      Who is going to be the breakout player on the Reign next season?

 

I expect Jan Hlozek  @Bojovnik to really step up this year.  He had a great minor league career and should do well at the VHL level.

 

4.      Do you prefer on-ice or off-ice training?

 

Any time I can be on the ice I'll take it.  Dry land training really is a drag.

 

5.      If you could ask one question in the next press conference, what would it be?

 

How does one deal with depreciation ?

 

6.      What is your favourite weather?

 

I mostly like Spring/Fall weather where it is sunny...not too hot, not too cool.

1. It's hard to say. We started well but the last two games were rough. We've got a lot of work to do.

2. It's hard to look past a Malmo repeat, they're stacked.

3. I just need to keep getting better, with each day, with each game.

4. I think a refresh would be good. It would bring some new energy.

1. very high we are cup contenders. bot goalie for cleange

2. i'll say DC they have a solid and deep roster.

3. being that hes in in his prime my expectations are high. im aiming for 100 points hopefully

4. I think its a good time for a change, our logo now is decnt but could be better

5. ask your GM for a ludacris contract that you will use to buy a plethora of depredation fighters

1. I mean, the bot has done pretty decently so far, so honestly I have high hopes if we do end up getting a real goaler

2. Malmo looks to have an exceptionally strong team once again.

3. Now that I'm officially on the back 9, it'd be nice to break some personal point and assist records.

4. Well, the current logo is fine IMO, but the one that was close to getting past the BoG was pretty sweet. I'd be open to a new one.

5. Be prepared. Start banking as early as possible, and reimburse as quickly as possible to avoid any major losses

6. It'd be insulting if someone said anyone other than my boy Caufzi (although Zegras presents a strong case)

1.)  Again, I wonder about the STHS system.  We are playing a bot goalie and it was one of the three stars.  I expect that the Reign will make the playoffs, but we will need a goalie upgrade to go any farther than the first round.

2. )  Malmo looks pretty stacked.

3,)  That is hard to say what with depreciation and all.  Isau should do as well as he did last year as I was able to earn as much as the depreciation was.  However with only 30% ice time, I don't expect any big numbers.

4.)  I am a traditionalist, and so like the current logo.

5.)  Oooooh !!!  My very own question.  The answer is "Not very well."  I don't think I can balance depreciation with TPE earned this season.

1. I mean, we seem to have this inconsistency gene among our players. We have a great team on paper, but we struggle to string Ws together.

3. I had a few overlap seasons with Condor Adrienne, and he was plain magnificent

1. I think just puck luck. It got us into this hole so it should sure as hell get us out. We have the talent.

1.)  Our inability to score more has come back to bite us in the ass once again.

2.)  Vancouver.  The STHS gods seem to be smiling on them, not us (as usual)

3.)  The Cologne Express.  There is a certain romanticism about trains.

4.)  Of course it is RED.

5.)  New Orleans and Swords.

6.)  Now that The Jays are gone, I like the Tampa Bay Rays.
