As a brand new member of the VHL, I love learning about the history of the league and the many seasons of the past. I love learning about the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Today I want to ask which team(s)/player(s) ended up being massive disappointments after being expected to do well.

Any of my players

@Matt_O did a fantastic article about the S26 Vasteras Baby Eagles team that held the first sixteen picks of the VHLM Draft and still lost the championship.

I guess the #1 ranked dude in the draft got dropped 10 spots, to the 11th pick. I don't think that happens usually lol

It can if teams needed a different position, or if the person was a dick. Many reasons why someone could drop. It's possible they didn't want to go to any other team.

It happens.

In recent history (post S50 dead era) it's probably gotta be Puidgemont (S65 first overall). Only the second first gen to go 1st overall in like 25 seasons and went inactive a season later.
