I'll echo what everyone else is saying in that I can definitely understand why/how the racist meme affects you/your enjoyment, and that it needs to be put to rest now. As for the other stuff, if you're feeling burnt out, you don't owe anyone your time, and if you need to take a break, or scale down your commitments here, then you should do what is best for you, but you're definitely appreciated and the league certainly is a better place with you in it, than without.

Hi everybody, As many of you are aware, this week is Theme Week, with the S77 Trade Deadline coming next Monday, April 19th, at 3PM EDT. This season's theme will be VHL Alternate Reality. Pick a moment in time of the VHL, change how it goes, and run with it. That time when your team lost to an upstart underdog? Change the narrative and tell us how things would've gone had you won that series. A star player got traded when nobody expected? What happens if they don't leave or went to a different team? A penalty called late in a game ended up with a powerplay goal deciding it? What happens if that goon doesn't end up in the box? The possibilities are endless. For GFX members, championship graphics for could've beens, sigs for players who could've ended up on said team but didn't for whatever reason, have fun with it and be creative! In order to claim the theme week bonus of 6 Uncapped TPE, simply submit your Themed PT (Graphic, Media Spot or 6-TPE Podcast), and claim it as normal. After claiming the PT portion, you can use the same link, and claim the uncapped portion as follows: Claim Uncapped > Other > Doubles Week. (Note: you do not need to post your link in this thread to claim either portion of TPE) If you have already submitted a Point Task for this week, or are in the midst of claiming a multi-week Media Spot/Podcast, you may still submit a Theme Week PT this week, and claim the capped portion on the next available week, following your multi-week claim. Also, if you have a single job that pays 6+, you may claim the theme week bonus, so long as you complete your duties for the week. If you are in the EFL or SBA, and have completed their most recent Media Week, you may use that to claim the Uncapped theme week bonus, but a PT must be completed this week in order to claim the Capped portion, whether that is completed here or through Affiliate Welfare. I think I'll go with JPC, who just brings that icy cool demeanor in net no matter the situation. The confidence he gives us back there, it definitely translates to fans who never get anxious when he's in the net. 4. If you got stuck in an elevator and it shakes every 10 seconds, what would you do? Would you have a plan to escape this chaotic madness? As someone who's been stuck in an elevator, it's hell. It gets hot and the air gets heavy. If you add shaking that's not coming from other people in the elevator, who you can tell to calk the fuck down, I'm climbing on their heads and popping the escape hatch in the ceiling. That, or somehow finding some superhuman strength and tearing the doors open, because FUCK THAT. 5. A flat earther came up to you preaching about the flat Earth theory. How would you react? I'd probably laugh at first. Then ask if they're serious. Then I'd probably just tell them they're insane and to leave me alone. 6. How many hours do you think gorlab sleeps in a day? Three. 7. With our team having a ton of ageing players. What do you suggest is the next move for us? I don't think there's a need to worry too much about the future, right now. Oferson, Winter and Elsby are starting to get a little long in the tooth, but the rest of the team is pretty young and still improving our games. Chicago isn't going anywhere, any time soon. 8. How much white claw is actually in Lidia's body on any given weekend? Might be easier to find out how much of Lidia's body isn't white claw, tbh. Probably just the skin, on the weekends.
