Bittersweet trade. The greatest player to ever play for Moscow, and leaving with absolute grace. Sad to see you go before my first game @OrbitingDeath , I was really hoping to pick up a few minutes of ice-time alongside a HOF line-mate. Time for Idaho to take over the North American conference, you'll be in good company at DC. Excited for the incoming S84 draftee that will be a new Moscow member in the coming weeks, some great looks there!
  4. This is hype and more people should join if you haven't

  6. 1. Even though my player wasn't playing, I was heavily emotionally invested in the entire playoffs. That was a brutal sim to see. Idaho, Papa, Markinson, Seabass deserved to get a cup together after staying their entire careers thus far with Moscow. Trying to forget it happened, multiple OT losses and game 7 OT loss is hard. 2. My player didn't play, so I can't comment. Although I have to say, when it comes down to a 7 game series, I think it needs to be looked at as a whole. And truthfully when looking at it objectively, Simon is a roll of the dice and that's just the way it landed. I'd be curious to see the % wins if the 7 game series was simulated 100 times. 3. I think this is a championship squad and roster, no question. 4 back to back finals is an insane achievement. Again, I think the Simon dice roll simply landed on the wrong side, frustratingly. 4. Looking at it objectively, it would probably be best to trade Idaho and see where we are at the deadline in the EU scrum that will happen. I foresee us still placing high with our strong defense and Papa. Makes me sad to say that too, because I'll be honest I really want that sweet sweet ice-time I could have had with Idaho, I'd take any minute I could get. 5. Really wanting a D with the 13th pick, hoping it shakes out and we get one in the mix. I'd say realistically, I would say our best bet would be Malum Maellard or Velociraptor Greg at 13, and then BPA at 15, ideally Fraser Wallace or Molly The Cat. 6. I would have to say soccer in a packed massive stadium. Knockout World Cup match for Italy (or Canada) would be a dream to see. That, or Formula 1 I would love to see, although I haven't yet (probably next year).
  7. This is actually insane. It's so good I'm not sure how much of this was made by you vs edited. Flabbergasted at how everything flows together perfectly, blending both the Moscow and Seattle distinctive landmarks together with proper scaling and style. Hard to give any things I would change, my only recommendation would have been lighting under the logos to make it seem like they are floating. It kind of looks like it is there, but I'm not sure if that is the Cup shadowing. Perfect filter choice as well to tie the logos and everything together. Blown away by how unique and cool this is. 10/10
  8. Love this sig. Massive fan of the text and what you did with it, cherry on top is that it meshes with the helmet too. This is somewhat how I would have approached this render / picture as well, although you're text is way better than what I would have done. Focal point is good with how tight the text is to the render. The only thing I would do is add a bit more darkening of the right side potentially. An interesting strategy you could try as well, is if you use Photoshop do Image > Apply Image, then Filter > Gaussian Blur > 1.5px. Then erase the parts that you want to have sharpened. It also helps to blur the sides and pull the focal point into the desired spot. Great work, this is one of my favorites that you have done! 9/10

Welcome @jhatty8! Excited to have you apart of the squad over the next few seasons
  10. Wow, absolutely honored to be chosen as the captain for this squad of pure talent, many thanks @leandrofg. Time to run it back and do it right this time! Excited for the games ahead
  11. Somehow back in this thread a few hours after you again Gustav 1. I really want Moscow to win. I'm hoping for a quick 4-0 so not one bullet of sweat will be dropped in the lockerroom. Although I have a feeling it will go to 6 or 7 games. Still predict Moscow to win, as I did in my pre-season predictions. Prayers. 2. That got me thinking, because if there is ever a movie that I don't like I just shut it off and switch it. So I had to think of something that I actually say through, which would probably the latest Jumanji movies. 3. I have this small yet slightly furry gorilla on my keychain that I've had for 10+ years. Super random, but I've always really liked it for some reason. It's the only thing on my keychain that isn't my keys / car fob 1. What is your favorite season of the year and why? (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) 2. Between the remaining teams in the NHL playoffs, who do you want to win? And who do you think will win? 3. What's your most common breakfast meal?
  12. The curtains have closed for the resilient Istanbul Red Wolves team. It was a hard fought series with Bratislava, the Red Wolves lost by simply one goal, in the 2nd overtime of game 7 of the S83 VHLE European Conference Finals... after being up 3-1 in the series. A brutal loss, but one that won't be taken without any lessons for the whole roster of Istanbul. Gaining experience in the playoffs, and being there in the first place wasn't being taken for granted 3 weeks ago, when Istanbul were on the outside of the playoffs looking in, being behind Geneva in both points while playing more games. The S83 Istanbul Red Wolves, were a tail to be told, the heroic late season comeback sparked by Siyan's speech will be remembered by all the roster players. The finish, wasn't the fairytale ending they were looking for. Although bittersweet, I'm sure the players inside the lockerroom will tell you that the journey is still the best part. Looking forward, each of the players on Istanbul look to have very bright future's ahead, with many players moving up to the VHL next season. Check back on this roster in 6 seasons, and it will be considered a Superteam. There's a lot of heart, and that's going to get each of the players far in their respective careers.
  13. This is the single greatest piece of VHL content I have ever read.
  14. 1. Definitely bad numbers in a good locker room, the lockerroom is where most of the fun is had! 2. Definitely the 'look at all those chickens' meme --> 3. v2, a blast from the past back to Season 5. Questions: 1. Do you have any plans for the upcoming summer? 2. Are you happy with how your player is progressing? 3. What is your favorite dessert?
  15. After a late-season run by the Istanbul Red Wolves, led by the offensive resurgence of Landon Wolanin, Jason Argos, and Siyan Yasilievich, the Red Wolves were able to land themselves in the last available playoff spot, playing the Bratislava Watchmen in a 7 game series to see who will advance to the finals. After 3 close and hard fought games, Istanbul is up in the series 2-1. At the moment, the Istanbul Red Wolves are showing depth in numbers, with 8 players racking up 2 points or more in the 3 playoffs games played so far. We got to chat with Tomas Sogaard after game 3 to get his opinion on the latest game and the series thus far. "Right now, the chemistry in the lockerroom is great. Today was a massive win to get a leg up in the series, finishing the game with 8/8 successful penalty kills. We are definitely going to need our special teams to keep playing at a high level as there is still a lot of hockey to be played, and with Bratislava being a strong team, we can't let off the gas pedal for a second. This is a great team to play for, and we don't want this party to end. We'll be seeing it through until the end, hopefully talking to you next week and through to the finals."
  16. Damn my teammates are stacking up a nice resume @badcolethetitan @jacobcarson877 Congrats guys, well deserved!
  17. 1. It was fun to write, and think back on the extra memorable moments of my time in the league thus far! 2. Simon giveth and Simon taketh. I think we're in the right place for the playoffs. This is going to be an very hard series against Vasteras, but I'm hopeful! 3. I'll be on Moscow's 2nd line. Excited to make the jump! Hopefully my line can carry my low TPE player (for the time being). Going to do my best to just be an all-around player to start. 4. For my player to actually perform to his TPE level 5. Next player will either be a Defenseman (that icetime) or Center! 6. English and a small amount of Italian (enough to understand what's being talked about but not enough to talk fluently in)
  18. Making a return to the VHL has been a tremendously fun ride, thanks to the community and great people. It's why I came back, and why I continually enjoy my time. Here are a few people that have stood out and made it such a great league to be apart of. @Insypher There is only one single player who I will share the journey to the VHL with from the VHLM, VHLE, and VHL. We lit up the M on the same line, he's been dominating the E in the last half of the season. It's great to follow both of our players at the same time, and see us both progress. Great to have a goal scoring machine and great person like you in the lockerrooms. @Spartan For drafting my player to the all mighty Menace, even though I was afk on Discord watching the draft and missed his message. Feel super lucky to be in a lockerroom that is as active as Moscow, thanks to Spartan fostering the community. Appreciate you answering all of my questions, and for being a being a great GM. Hopefully you won't need to carry me in Apex too much longer, and I can pull my weight with all the grinding I've been doing. @STZ Always a pleasure gaming with you! Was excited to join Moscow with a graphic god on the team, I've got some learning to do from you with regards to text and render effects. Hopefully we can get a trio going soon with you and Spartan, whether it be Apex or Valorant. @KaleebtheMighty @Spaz Both of you have been absolutely phenomenal in both fostering a great community in Istanbul with an active lockerroom, and being insanely active on the management front. Always changing lines, taking any input, and constantly trying new things. Why we are in the playoffs is because of both of your dedication to tinkering and getting things right for our end of season run. I was super excited to join this squad, and I'll definitely miss the current Istanbul team / management. @jacobcarson877 @badcolethetitanThe Istanbul lockerroom has been a blast to be apart of because of the both of you. Active every single day, constantly giving good vibes, and making this season such a fun one to be apart of. The end of S83 VHLE season run (12-0) to sneak back into the playoffs thanks to the incredible speech of @cole will go down in Istanbul history. Both of you push me to grind even harder for the sweet sweet TPE, you both are TPE god's. Excited to see what our players can do in the late part of their career. I'll miss being on a team with the both of you, and hopefully our players can interconnect at some point in the future! @youloser1337 For making the first impressions back into the VHL with the Mexico City Kings such a great experience. Fantastic GM, person, and member of the league. To me, you're like the TPE Genie that gifts everyone TPE thanks to your dedication and exceptional Google Forms skills. My player thanks you, from the bottom of his heart. @leandrofg For the great times in Mexico City, and our time together in the juniors. Once you joined the Kings on my line, everyone elevated. You were always super active in the discord and great to chat with. Any team is lucky to have you in the lockerroom spreading the good vibes. Hopefully we can cross paths again! @Moon For bringing me from the YouTube comment section back into the VHL, and helping me along the way in the beginning stages. Wouldn't be having this great of a time without you! Also, the great chats in Discord, looking forward to more. You're always good vibes! @MexicanCow123 @fromtheinside @rory For the absolute degen late night gambling discord stream before the S83 draft that made me laugh insanely hard. I swear if @mexicancow got just $20 more, he could have turned that into $1,000,000. @Arce An OG. Always great to talk to and see around the forums / discord. Funny, I have a build path every 100 TPE to 1000 TPE, and your player has just about stayed exactly to my build path as well. Great minds think alike... Until Simon dumpsters us for making optimal TPE builds and makes our players ghosts on the ice (after you dominated the E, and I had an insane M playoff stretch). Hopefully both of our players can make a giant bounce back next season. I believe in us @Victor We had a nice chat since I joined back. Shared some great memories together in the early VHL days. Always great to catch up with and see around. @Frank @InstantRockstar Both of you are GFX god's that I admire, always keep an eye out for your weekly signatures, and you both always impress. Keep up the great work!
