This is an insane graphic. I'm actually surprised by how well you were able to pull this off. I find it abnormally difficult to create something this clean. Big fan of the lighting / shading that you did. The white sides plus the added black shadow around the corner really brings the focal point into the center. Big fan of the text, as well as both render choices. One cool addition (although it could be difficult to find the correct picture angle) would be to find a diagonally looking down shot of an ice rink and place it under him. Although I'm a pretty big fan of the cloudlike feeling of the current edition. 10/10

https://fuelup.podbean.com/e/vhl-podcast-intro Submitting something a little different here. An original song that I produced for my upcoming VHL podcast. Believe it or not, this took way too long to make (6-8 hours). Every sound is either recorded myself or a manipulated sample, minus the NHL announcer audio clips added. Could definitely be better, but I've got some learning to do. DAW: Ableton Key: B Minor BPM: 90 Got the green light from @DollarAndADream to have this approved. He can confirm

With the Season 83 draft being only a day away, we've stopped by to ask Tomas Søgaard his opinions on the draft experience and where he think will land. Tomas, how does it feel to be experiencing the VHL draft as a young draftee? "Honestly, this is a day that I've been looking forward to for a long time. Wherever I get drafted will shape how I experience the league, so it's both exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. I'm excited to join the locker room of a VHL team and interact with my new teammates who all share the same common goal. That is to make each other better, and win.” If you had a choice of where you were to land, where would you choose? “Well, in my eyes I think the top 6 is locked down. For any team in the top six, I think it will be very hard for a General Manager to pass on Sundin, Fuhr, Molotov, Voss, GoodBrandSun, or Sakamoto. I’d personally love to go number 7, a combination of going to an original team like Toronto with a rich history, and being selected as the first of the second group of players selected would be a dream of mine. Otherwise, I’ll happily play wherever I land. D.C. Dragons look to have a very strong current team, with familiar faces for myself. As well, HC Davos is looking to have a strong S84 draft, which would be exciting to see from the inside.”

These are insane, especially the Price one for me hits differently. Love the choice of colors, lighting, text, contrast and blending. The overlay that you put on the text is honestly perfect. Focal point is easy, and I'm a big fan of darkening the sides of a signature like you did here. My favorite part is how you utilized the fractal design. I honestly have always stayed far away from those backgrounds because of how hard they are to integrate into a signature for me. Once you use something as busy as that, you need to make careful and smart selections moving forward or it can become a mess very quickly. 10/10

Just back to claim my 1 TPE reviewing another one of @InstantRockstar's insane signatures. Love the creativity with this one, and how you themed this with USA flag colors while making it look natural. Jersey swap is on point, and the blending / blur techniques are excellent. I like how you darkened the sides a bit so that the focal point is easy on the eyes. Only thing I would personally change would be to clone stamp the top right grunge effect, as it feels like it pulls my eye to it a bit with how detailed it is. Otherwise, this slaps. 9.5/10

It was 4am in the morning when Tomas' phone rang. A number that he did not recognize appeared on the screen. Although unlike him to pick up the phone from someone not in his contact list, he decided to see who it was. Partly because he wanted the phone to stop ringing so that he could go back to sleep, and partly because he wanted to play his odds and tell off a spam caller for calling that early. Tomas was lucky that he didn't start the phone call saying anything he regretted, because on the other end of the line was a familiar name @leandrofg, the player agent of his teammate Leandro Goncalves. What followed next was an invitation to the S82 World Junior Championship to play for Team Europe. An unexpected call to say the least, Tomas accepted without hesitation. Needless to say, he didn't go back to sleep that night. Instead opted to start his morning early, and hit the gym. The next night he was on a flight to meet up with his team. This is what Tomas had to say about the experience: "Honestly I was extremely surprised, but also delighted to receive an invitation. After seeing the roster, I was even more surprised. We've got some absolute phenoms on our team, people who tore it up in the E and the best players of the M. This is a great learning experience for me to see the work ethic required to compete at this level. Also, I have to say it's been great to have a familiar face around. Having Leandro in the locker beside me, just like in Mexico, and the confidence in my game with having him on my line has helped tremendously. He's probably the best player that I've gelled with on and off the ice. Leandro's ability to read the game, and make the right play at the right time still baffles me to this day."

A: 1. I wanted to be a goal-scoring winger, focusing on SC fast with the old build. Although now it's looking to be a more well-rounded player, especially early in my career... So I can make the best usage of the TPE. 2. Prior to a few days ago it had been grey skies for a while. Although these last few days have been great weather, can't complain with 13°C (56°F) 3. Arizona Coyotes to the Hamilton Steel Q: 1. What are you most excited about for the upcoming S83 season? 2. What was your most fun season during your time in the VHL? 3. If you could travel back to any point in time for 1 day, when or where would you choose?

1. Tough loss, such a close series, but it was a great and fun run! 2. MEX D1 / D2 were a liability 3. I guessed that Saskatoon would win, but Houston has really shown to have some solid firepower. I'm going to stick with Saskatoon though! 4. Of course, Leo + myself are on the same Team Europe. Looking forward to carrying our chemistry from MEX to the World Juniors. 5. Hard to vote against the most meta of teams, Vancouver. 6. Seattle had a healthy run, was impressed by how well their team meshed in the playoffs.

What a joke. Glad this meta shit is ending soon.

Damn, I don't know of a better way to describe this signature than 'easy on the eyes'. This is probably one of my favorite player render's I've seen in terms of quality, and you nailed it out of the park with this font / text combination / placement. For whatever reason, I find green to be a harder color to work with for myself, so kudos to you for pulling this off so well. I like how raw this feels. There is a decent amount happening, but the focal point is clear, and I'm able to take in the entire signature detail after looking at the center. Unique, and well done. 9.5/10 -
Man, you don't ever miss. Absolutely unreal sig, love your creativity and amazed at how you were able to properly blend the '98' number so well into the signature while also not taking away from the focal point. There's a lot happening, but it's all very controlled. Lighting is on point, and I really like the color choice of that particular soft brush. Not sure what I can really offer as feedback that is constructive improvements on this one... Curious to how it would look with a bit more contrast and darkening of the sides. But I think this would probably be a better fit. @badcolethetitan just got a killer sig. 10/10.

1. Hope to carry that momentum into the games against Houston! We're riding on Fuhr's shoulders, he will carry us to the motherland. 2. I hope so! Houston is an insanely deep team, so our secondary lines will need to do their best to hold their own. I think this series will be decided through penalties and special teams, so hopefully we stay out of the box! 3. I think it's going to go 6 or 7 games, it could go either way, but I believe in the Kings! 6. Start Fuhr in the first 2 games for sure. He is the hottest goalie in the M. However if we go down 0-2, I'd say swap. Freeze is lowkey fire, and now at ~200 TPE, the slightly different build could prove better, you never know. 7. Likewise, trying to juggle 3 projects and expand a team is proving to be much more challenging than I anticipated 8. Music, downtempo genre

Big fan of your unique signature style, and your ability to choose and blend colors together in a seamless way. As showcased here and in many of your other sigs, your font / text selection and edit is spot on, as well as your jersey swap. I like how you took on the challenge of this signature, I find working with any person in plain clothing rather than a player to be much more difficult. Not really sure what I would change here, as everything in this signature caters to the style very well. Only thing I could potentially offer is to drop the contrast of the right render a tad more as I find my eyes darting from the left to right render and back quite a bit. Overall: 10/10, big fan of this one. Excellent work!

Oh no now I can't unsee that

This is a really cool signature. I'm not usually one for taller and less wide signatures with smaller renders, but this works well since the open space is occupied both in a busy yet clean way. Really cool idea you executed with the inverse between the top and bottom, and I like the focus on the text. For myself, concepting a signature with that much text and player names is an extremely difficult task, so kudos to you for pulling off so well. Maybe a bit of a massive soft white brush on normal blend with low opacity could have been used for a bit of lighting about the render's head, but overall I like the lighting of this, and I would have done the same with no darkening of the edges. Solid work! 9.5/10

This is an unreal signature. Perfectly executed jersey swap, nailed the text / font combo (O with the crosshair is a sick touch). Big fan of your unique style, I'm extremely curious of the techniques you use to create signatures like this with so much grain / grit. The color combination chosen with that grainy style (pink / blue / green) works surprisingly well. It's hard to have any critiques or suggestions of this to be honest. Maybe that the white soft brush lighting portion on normal blend could have been set a bit less, and a grey color dodge brush added to make the lighting a tiny bit less washed. But at the same time, I can see that adding any color dodge lighting to the face of this sig could set it off the exposure charts, so what you have is probably best. 10/10
