    You've basically got the old VHL GM experience where you get 2-3 picks in a couple seasons and you have to make them count or your rebuild is fucked. Which is entirely Devise's fault btw, his last couple seasons in Toronto were terrible GMing. I dont think any current GM has nailed every pick they made, it's just we a have a lot more margin for error. I reckon it'll be a lot nicer next time around.

    Jubis would have been awarded the S72 cup if Calgary had won so the same scenario applies. There's no precedent for going back a few seasons because in that case Bash would have fewer Seattle and Davos seasons too. Ultimately he made the trades so on the technicality those are his GM seasons. And tbh if Calgary had won the cup last season, that would have been very much Bash's team and he did a good job building it. Jubis has put his mark on it now though and probably taken it up a level.
