  1. Does a players' salary count against the VHL teams cap space while playing in the VHLE? What would be the maximum salary for someone playing in the VHLE be? Will there be a more permanent salary cap increase/decrease coming with the league changes or will it (likely) remain at 40m? Too lazy to read through four pages so thought I'd ask here.
  2. Another week, another PC! 1. What do you think about Toronto's off season moves so far? (Resigning Hornet, Webber; acquiring Killinger; and stockpiling picks in the S80 VHL Entry Draft, etc) 2. How many players do you think will surpass thirty goals? 3. Do you think Toronto could have two sixty assist players this season? 4. Does anyone reach triple digit points? 5. NA Conference will be tight this season -- do you think Toronto can reach 40 wins again? 6. Season opener is just around the corner. Are you ready? 3. This war between Juice and Thad must represent their chances at a VHL GM job.
  4. One last hurrah! Appreciate you sticking around for longer than you thought you would, Osens.
  5. S73 player. Why retire that early?
  6. Wheels down. The previously former Toronto Legion defensemen is now currently a former London United defensemen. Erik Killinger is home for his final VHL season, reunited with friends and family despite the Toronto Legion he once knew being a completely different franchise now. The veteran defensemen returns to Toronto after a successful stint with the London United; he won two awards this season, maintained a point per game average and solidified himself in London's record book for the time being... but now it's time to face the music. "There's not one face I recognize besides Peace, but it'll be fun learning new things about my teammates as the season goes along. I hope by the end of it they'll remember I existed as I hang up the skates and move on with my life." One last hurrah before the league forces the still young Killinger to retire. "I'm looking forward to the season," Killinger stated. "I very exited to play alongside Kaberle, Giant and Welch. Those three were the product of me being traded in the first place, so I think it's pretty unique I get the chance to play alongside them now and I can't wait to meet them tomorrow." "As for London, well, I don't have many words I can say to describe how thankful I am to McWolf and the rest of the organization. I'm coming home with two trophies I never thought I'd win... obviously I owe it all to how London was built, who was on the team and the opportunities I got while I was there. I wish them nothing but the best, and I hope that this seasons final is Toronto - London."
  7. You’ll learn to hate that you love me!
  8. We're in a young VHL now... let it settle in that a sitcom from the 90's means we're the old farts.
  9. I don't care what Canadian team wins it as long as a Canadian team wins it.
  10. Howdy! 1. Did you follow the awards ceremony at all? 2. How did your predictions go? 3. Draft is tonight... will you be watching the live stream? 4. Klamasteris is set to become our starter for the next little while... how do you think he'll handle the pressure? 5. Toronto squeaked into cap compliance with 500k to spare. What do you think we should do with it? (Pizza parrrrrrrrrtay?) 6. Toronto regressed a tad, but the rosters' younger players improved, and remains largely the same from last season. How do you think we'll perform in S78? McWolf @Smarch @osens @BOOM @NickSunderbruch @Toast @rjfryman @Webberj @Poptart @fromtheinside @DoktorFunk @Juice @hedgehog337
  11. I didn't want TPE anyway!
  12. I do believe this is my first award at the VHL level. Hype!
  13. "It sucks," GM Peace stated during the Legions' media access earlier today. The club was present in the arena to clear out the locker room, say good-bye to an iconic goaltender [Hextall] before heading home to enjoy the off season independently from the oversight of Toronto's management. Players and staff alike departed the arena slowly, paying one final respect to the goaltender who led the way for seven seasons of Legion hockey. "We didn't get the results we hoped for, we didn't get the results he deserved, but the series was entertaining and we played a lot of hockey in those six games." And although history will show the Legion were defeated four games to two -- followed by Seattle trucking through to a championship -- it'll also show just how competitive the two teams were against one another in their rematch from S74. Four games required overtime, both teams winning two in the sudden death, and all but one game were closer than either side would have liked to admit; next up for Toronto is the draft, so we'll catch you there and update Legion fans on anything Toronto in the coming weeks. Stay safe and take care.
  14. Jubo really should be stepping away with a championship under his belt.
  15. Peace

    Jaromir Jagr

    Erik Killinger - DF
  16. Just toss two dice into the air and you’ve got the score. Pretty sure that’s how STHS decided who wins.
  17. Hope you're all having a good Friday! Here are some PC's for you. 1. Are you a Star Wars fan and did you do any binging on May 4th? 2. Are you looking forward to anything this off season? 3. Have you followed the playoffs at all since the Legion were eliminated? 4. Any plans for the weekend? Camping trip, maybe some fishing? 5. Coke or Pepsi? 6. Knowing Hextall's retirement is pending... how do you feel? \ (For ROOKIE: Do you feel satisfied with Hextall's career?) @McWolf @Smarch @osens @BOOM @NickSunderbruch @Toast @rjfryman @Webberj @Poptart @fromtheinside @DoktorFunk @Juice@ROOKIE745 @hedgehog337
