NOTStevedanglepodcast DAN WILINSKY [1/2]
SlapshotLegion replied to jacobaa19's topic in Archived Media Spots
Review: A really lively, and hilarious media spot. You could just make it boring, but no, you use the font and put the effort to make it entertaining. The font changes are a good idea, but it seems you held back a bit. I felt the font size changes were a lot better and made this whole thing more dynamic and entertaining. But again, amazing and super entertaining. -
Interview with Alexander Pepper [1/2]
SlapshotLegion replied to Jose Gonzalez's topic in Archived Media Spots
Review: Oooh, an interview with Pepper. It's a good interview, very organized, and the questions are good, but the interview seems robotic and automatic. Because it's just Question, Answer, Question, Answer, etc. If you could make it more fluid and flexible, it would be awesome. (Put some humour too.) If you want some ideas, read the notstevedangle podcast. -
1) Thoughts in every other team? 2) Any goals for this season? 3) What are your plans/wishes for the World Juniors? 4) If you weren't with Halifax, which team would you want to be with? 5) If the VHL and VHLM were to suddenly die, what would you do?

Claimed: Sergei Komarov Biography. [1/2]
SlapshotLegion replied to Gooningitup's topic in Archived Career Tasks
Review: Hey Gooning! Awesome bio man! What's cool is that I pulled a Leetch card right after I read this. This is a really well written biography, and the story is really cool. There's a part in the start where it says, "father an american". Personally, it would have been better if you maybe put a comma in between "father" and "an american" but it's a small problem. Again, awesome biography. (#NerdsCanPlayToo) -
Saskatoon-Ryuu Crimson, the 1st Overall Pick in the VHLM, has not disappointed yet so far. With 12 goals, some star appearances, and a huge growth in plus-minus, you have to wonder, is he ever gonna be stopped? He has a point in almost every game, and he has already tied and surpassed his previous record of 8 goals in the regular season. We asked for his thoughts. "Well, I mean, the season has just started, it's not like I've won the cup or made the playoffs or anything. I mean, sure, congrats me, but I am not the team. Dylan, LaVey, Kevin, everyone, we are the team. I don't really think it's fair to just point out me and other first liners, because the rookies have been awesome. LaVey, he just joined and he tied me in goal scoring at one point. Of course, we don't focus on beating each other, but still, I was and still am impressed. I owe Dylan a lot of my goals, both this season and last. Also, I can't forget Kevin Weekes. He is awesome out there. We really need to thank him for being awesome in between the pipes." The Saskatoon Left Wing and Defensemen Dylan Nguyen, were arrested for possession of alcohol, and then they were bailed out by their friend, Alex Pepper. When asked about it he said, "I agree with Nguyen, bunch of bullsh**. But hey, they don't make the laws. The government does. Kind of a dumb law but the past is the past." So far, he is 4th in goal scoring. He has really impressed the Minors with his goal scoring ability. If only he could help his team win though. "I'm scoring sure, but not scoring enough. Everyone is trying hella hard. I can't thank my team enough. Time to give back what they gave to me." When asked if he wants to be traded he replied, "Hell nah! Unless Dylan is traded as well, I can't imagine leaving the Wild while I'm still in the Minors. Even if I go to the 21st, the Aces, or even if I get a higher raise. The Saskatoon Wild are like family to me. Every team I've been is has been family to me." The Left Winger was, as most people know, the first overall pick in the Victory Hockey League Minor Pick. "You know, I hope I am able to live up to that standard. Don't want to disappoint anyone or become the next Alexandre Daigle." As well as being first overall pick in the Victory Hockey League Minor Draft, he also did pretty good in the Victory Hockey League, being a second round pick. To be more precise, he was the FIRST second round pick, and the third pick of the Riga Reign. "Actually, when I first got the news, I was thinking, 'Yes! I'm with Dylan!' but then I remembered that our team was the Riga Reign. I was like, where and what the heck is Riga? I later googled it up, turns out it's in Latvia." The World Junior Championships were just announced and Ryuu Crimson is a nominee for the Juniors. "I really hope I make it. It would be such an honour to represent my country, the Philippines." 545 words

Review: Aaaayyyyy, Dylan, love you like a brother! Nice to see that nobody has reviewed your Bio cause I really need this. The reason why he chose Hockey over Lacrosse is really touching, and it's nice to see people do stuff to connect with their parents more. This is an awesome story, and Baltimore needs a team! Also, very nice to see another Asian player in the league.

POLL: Who should be eligible for World Juniors?
SlapshotLegion replied to Banackock's topic in VHL League Discussion
Hahaha! First vote! -
1) I hope to at least score a goal, and I can't wait to see who will win the cup. 2) Definitely Weekes. He is rarely talked about and does not show up on the leaderboard that much, but we owe him a lot. 3) Not much competition really. Cause I am top line and the best left wing.

Review: Man, this was great. I feel bad for him, his parents named him one of the most embarrassing I've ever heard. That's really cool, he started off as a media person then became an ACTUAL player? Cool. Also why does everyone choose the OHL? Why not the WHL or AHL? But, anyways, great biography. Great that we are the same team!

The notstevedangle podcast (interview) [1/2]
SlapshotLegion replied to jacobaa19's topic in Archived Media Spots
Review: Again, beautiful podcast, just awesome. I do prefer the text changes though, and plus why u no interview me? I was the first overall pick, (probably the next Daigle but whatevs). Also "Hey, this is a family podcast, no swearing" is hilarious! You should make this an actual podcast, that would be awesome! -
The notstevedangle podcast (random shit) [1/2]
SlapshotLegion replied to jacobaa19's topic in Archived Media Spots
Review: I love this so much! I laughed so hard! This is awesome, the way you use the font, the fact that in this world the NHL disbanded! Hilarious! Plus, I love how you mention the incident in Vegas! Ahahahahaha! Plus, the whole NotSteve thing is hilarious! My favourite line is "What's with you rookies and getting shi-drunk so young?" You need to interview me one day! -
Review: This is an awesome biography, I love it. The whole story about him wanting to quit but returning was so touching, plus the Jets coming back. Ryuu is sorry for what happened to his father. Good thing you didn't go to the NHL, so much talent would be wasted in those bottom 6 teams. Also, very interesting that he changed to his off-wing. Now Ryuu is thinking about the same thing in the future. Lucky, you got to play with Marner.
