Honestly, it was kind of cool, but everything about it was incredibly time consuming, and was the reason no league from that era really lasted more than 2-3 seasons. Plus, there was almost no way to keep track of stats, and little accountability for simmers to not rig games. 

We only do the ASG like that rn. Should maybe do like a VHL Classic (like the winter classic) on NHL 19 too. Have a lottery for which 2 teams play eachother

Yeah, there’s actually no way for that to work, unless Will re-simmed the game to ensure a win for the right team, but then points for players wouldn’t really matter. It’s be cool, but is probably more work than it’s worth for a 2nd exhibition game on NHL.
