We're a close group for the most part and with a bunch of new guys, we want to include them - so what better way to bond with the boys than some ice cold beer and a couple games of TEXAS HOLD'EM. Im on my phone, so their may be a more logical post sorted out better.. but here's my idea.. 1. Pick a day and date that works best for everyone. Friday or Saturday. 2. Depending on users - may be a 1 or 2 day event. 3. Sort tables and play on private tables protected by passwords. 4. Have a top 3-10 prize. Thoughts on prizes: 1. $20 donatiom 2. Lesser donation 3. It's a tough choice.. All depends on what's going on with the Season 61 draft and what we have involved in said draft. Currently, we have the Toronto 1st which we feel is going to be a pretty solid draft pick and could land us an exceptional player. Additionally, we'll potentially be selling off our assets at the conclusion of Season 60 and adding some nice pieces to our chest. Obviously, GM's will be holding onto the picks pretty tight - but hey, want top talent or some draft pick that may or may not affect you for quite some time? May as well collect those cups, right? Lord knows I am (fuck it, who am I kidding..). There's a couple of prospects I'm interested in and maybe even adding a goalie to the roster. If not, I think goalie is going to be the way I go. I can control what I am, not bust too high nor bust too low. Then again, why waste time and a perfectly free player on something that is so high in abundance in the league? The markets for goalies are down. Every team has one and the influx is huge for what's coming up in the VHLM. My thoughts? I don't fucking know. Goalie would be sweet - but maybe that could be my additional player. I'm leaning towards a defence. They're hard to come by these days and it seems 90% of the new member created sniping wingers - everyone wants them goals. A GM can't ever go wrong with creating a stud D-man. +2 FORSBERG

What the fuck? One last rush? Sure, if it lasts an entire 72 game regular season and hopefully playoffs. More like, potentially and likely, one more season. So yeah, I guess you could say one final push, or crack, or whatever you want at the Seattle Bears and GM Blake Campbell going once more for the Championship. Whether or not they do it, is a whole new story. Calgary beefed up nicely this off-season and are led by a soon to be dominant Stropko. New York has also come along ways and honestly, Davos isn't too bad either. Riga and Toronto may struggle a little more now that teams have bought, but I'm sure there's still buyers out there for them to sell off. I guess it sucks shit how the cap situation is, hey? For Seattle - It's likely their last push. Some players are heading into their 7th season, while others their 6th and so on. It's a bittersweet end because of how things panned out last season. It's shitty it has to end but it's a part of the game. For Seattle, they look to heavily improve this regular season upon the past one. They'd love to reach the 50 goal plateau for sure - to safely help Blake Campbell achieve his 450th victory in his career before potentially calling it quits and turning the new champions, the Seattle Bears, back into hibernation. +2 FEDEROV
