  1. 1) We will dominate, thanks to the entire league for allowing this monster of a roster come to fruition 2) Good hockey all-around hockey trades. 3) Pretty much exactly where I thought I'd go, maybe a little higher than I anticipated, but I'm gonna work hard to rewa 4) We have lots of young high-end potential talent, to see how this team evolves throughout the season will be exciting. 5) Even though Yukon messed up their 3rd overall(thank you very much), I still think they will be pretty good, so we have to keep an eye on them. 6) Physical Defensive-defenceman, somewhat akin to what Lance Flowers has going on, less offensive atm though.
  2. 1) Getting free TPE from Training Camp, that's always exciting, that and being drafted of course. 2) Actually no idea, I haven't looked at any mock drafts(if there are any), I'm open to being surprised, hopefully a team that I haven't played for ever. 3) Clinton Giftopoulus is a good one 4) I get phases where I nonstop grind shows but currently im not on one 6) me(not biased of course)
  3. 1) Obviously we lost and they were a strong squad, but we took a game off them so there's something. 2) winning could work. 3) I'm not that hardcore in the sense that I need hockey pumping through my veins everyday, couple of days off is a nice thing. 4) Cereal first, anyone who does the opposite is a psychopath 5) Very good, although it gets boring if you have it too frequently 6) Everyone on the original Philadelphia Reapers roster.
  4. 1) Getting to know all the players and teams in the VHLM, long time since I've played there. 2) Yeah, #saskybois 3) I have Vegas as the stanley cup champions, so far looking good. 4) Lots of rap 5) Bring hockey to Australia, untapped market. 6) Pasta
  5. 1) Adding a certain dman will help a lot ? 2) Absolutely, dude is a game changing goalscorer 3) Venus thightrap is a good one 4) Seeing how these series are going, anything is possible at this point 5) Happy for him, family and safety should always be a priority. 6) Not a thing in my country, sounds good though.
  6. Name: Ove Dyrdahl Birthplace: Hamar, Norway. Playstyle: Physical Defensive Defenceman Height: 6'8 Weight: 225 lb Age: 19 Ludwig Dyrdahl was the captain for the Storhammar Ishockey(SIL) team for the last 7 years, with his age creeping up on him he decided that it was time to hang up the skates, in the beginning it was hard not thinking about hockey every second of his day, not playing was even worse.... but then around came his son Ove, to whom he instantly introduced this mysterious sport, and Ove took the chance and ran with it. Although, unlike his father Ludwig, a game changing LW goalscorer, who always had an eye for the net...... Ove was completely the opposite.. He excelled in the defensive side of the game, and was never afraid of using his physicality and frame to his advantage. Ove was brought into training camp for the U18 Storhammar team, and got a trial contract to play for the U18 Storhammar team, at the end of training camp he got his U18 contract signed and now was an upcoming prospect for the Storhammar Ishockey team. Coaches started to notice Dyrdahl and his fantastic performances so they decided to give him a shot at the U20 level, and to their surprise he performed just as good, showing that he belonged with the U20's for the reminder of the season. "This kid is something special, hes 17 and already playing like he's 20, not afraid to use his body and deliver hits, that is impressive at his age" "Ove delivered 70 hits in 39 games at the U20 level for Storhammar, this kid is built like a freak and isn't afraid to battle for the puck" - Local VHL scouts admiring Ove's uprise in the juniors. Next season came around and Ove recieved the big news, he had been promoted to the Storhammar roster, playing in the Get-Ligaen, which should be a big test for the youngster as he will be playing against men, not junior players his age, but this didn't faze Ove at all, in fact his rookie debut for Storhammar was when they faced their long-time rival Valerenga, and in that match, Dyrdahl dropped gloves with the rival team's captain, which was an amazing sight for all the spectators. "Fighting vs a rival teams captain on your rookie debut, yeah he's ready [for Get-Ligaen]" "He's going to be an absolute stud wherever he plays" "I project him to be a top2 Shutdown type defenceman in the VHL" - Local VHL Scouts on his Get-Ligaen Debut & Future Future: Dyrdahl already has told the press that he will be making the move to VHLM to pursue his dream of playing in the VHL and fighting among the best of the best.

  8. This is a pretty special moment for me, Mikko was my first sim player ever and boy did I learn alot with him. His VHLM career is mostly forgotten, but to me those were the first steps in Aaltonen's rollercoaster-ish career. Shoutout to these people: @BladeMaiden @TheFlash @FrostBeard @DMaximus the seasons I had with you all in VHLM were really epic and funny, glad to have been a part of it all. Moving on to his VHL career, which consisted of 2 teams, starting off with being selected 4th overall by the Riga Reign, now at the time I was super excited to be selected by a team that is from the country I live in(Latvia), this combined with the fact that this was my first sim league ever resulted in me maxing tpe every week which eventually led to a pretty massive burnout, I started visiting VHL less and less, to a point where I almost retired, but me being selected top5 made me feel bad for the GM that had put his trust in me, thus I continued to only welfare and do low effort stuff(some theme weeks here n there aswell). Cheers to everyone that I met along the way, especially @hedgehog337 Then the next big thing happened, VHL expanded to D.C and Prague, and Riga had the option to protect either me or one other player, and that player really wanted to stay in Riga, I did too but I just felt bad forcing my GM into a 50/50 where one of the members might feel bad afterwards, so i volunteered to be left unprotected. Had no expectation whatsover of D.C, had no idea who their GM was, no idea how the team will proceed, how Mikko's career might be "wasted", but to me it didn't really matter, I just wanted to sort of "redeem" Mikko, and now with him retiring, I feel like I did that, he turned into a solid first franchise piece for D.C and I couldn't be happier with that(we're still winning that cup, yo) Shoutout to @bigAL @STZ @chillzone @KC15 @DangerGolding @BarzalGoat @frescoelmo @Kekzkrieg @Midnite @flatl99 @DollarAndADream @fonziGG and every past & future D.C dragon...... and of course the captain of the ship, the madman behind the masterplan, the absolute legend, @Enorama Onto the next adventure!
  9. I'm planning to re-create at the deadline, if I post everything by the end of this week, can I claim the rewards for my new player next week?
  10. 1) We're just inconsistent at the moment, need to keep working hard. 2) I'm really happy with the way Graves has been playing, turning into a solid franchise player for us. 3) Flaten is having himself a decent rookie season, with the way D.C has been playing especially. 4) Trade Aaltonen for better pucks and sticks 5) I think so, D.C as a whole has been a rollercoaster so far, when things settle down I expect Wolski to dominate the league. 6) We. #RUNDC
  11. 1) Have to keep working hard and get pucks in deep(lol) 2) Very hard, this is Mikko's last season so he wanted to be in tiptop shape 3) Decent.... I guess, not a big fan of the logos personally but I really like the GM selections 4) Hell yeah. #RUNDC 5) Mexican is the best 6) Being a + player, looking tough so far but I have hope.
  12. 1) 10/10, picked Groovy who I'm sure is going to be an amazing addition to D.C and we got a guy named Sean Dragon, so that's an immediate success 2) Sean Dragon for sure. 3) I'm sure we can compete for the cup 4) Mikko has been training very hard back home in Finland, hes determined to start the season with a bang. 5) Skating, as players get older their skating gets outmatched by the youngsters, so Mikko has been preparing for that. 6) The Old but not forgotten, because Mikko is an oldie, but he definitely shouldn't be forgotten.
  13. 1) Since we got the 1#, it doesn't really matter, there are lots of quality picks, depends on who the GM likes more. 2) Canada is always a strong force in these tournaments 3) Vancouver/Davos 4) Being a + player for the first time in years. 5) I think we're finally moving in the "contender" status, expanding the league to more teams will help that, hopefully. 6) There isn't really a specific member I'd bring, anyone who wants to play for D.C is welcome here.
  14. 1) Riga has been looking really good, being a former Reign member, I'm rooting for them! 2) I don't think our roster needs massive changes, getting that top draft pick will be a nice addition, but besides that I believe we're good. 3) Role wise, I think I'd be a D'man(hint hint). 4) Probably being the goaltender, you're the last line of defense behind everyone, if it's in, you're the most commonly blamed one. 5) Everything is slowly coming back to life, and it isn't in the news 24/7, which is nice, but I really hope people don't underestimate the virus and make it big again. 6) tbh I don't think NHL should resume this season but knowing them they probably will, the usual Boston/Tampa/Washington are the cup contenders, imo.
