It's the constant battle

I feel sad that I have to play as a wing in my final World Cup

It's 11:53 and I need to write one of these. Let's go Titans! End this in 5! Not because I don't like the Wranglers but because I want it to end as soon as possible so I can recreate. I wish I had more time to think about what I was writing here but, sadly, that will not be the case. So I think I have an idea of the player I'm going to make. My first thing is that I will not be a defenseman. I already did that so I'd like something new. Goalie was never even a real consideration so now the next option: wing or a center. This is a tough one. But I think I'll go with a wing. I don't want to have to worry about faceoffs so that's what this decision came down to. I think I'll just be a strong defensive playmaker. Yeah, it's kind of boring. But how else can I make a useful player without working toooooo hard, right? Oh well, looking forward to it.

And this makes me excited because this means I can be a free agent and create a new player very soon. But hold your excitement. Even the 5 or so seasons of crazy activity I put into Jerrick Poole will most certainly not be going into my new player. I don't even know what I'm going to do yet but he'll probably never crack a top six (will probably make a forward). But what type of forward? I don't know. Because my guy isn't going to be very good, maybe I'll just make a goon. Would be fun to just have a player who gets in fights and hits people all the time. Or maybe even worse, I'll just make the VHL's Zac Rinaldo. That would be fun. Can we turn injuries on here? I'll just go for peoples' heads. I could also just make some shitty energy player who just goes out there to spell the important players. But this will probably be boring because in order to be useful, my player will have to be pretty much mediocre at best at everything. That doesn't sound too exciting to me. But then again, this type of player would be a lot more useful and could just be that guy who everyone loves because he works hard yet still sucks so when he does something good, it's like Christmas day. So that could actually be fun. Or I could make a faceoff specialist. Just a guy who is really good at faceoffs and kind of shitty at everything else. But still a little useful because nobody likes it when their good players are tired and you have to stick some rando into center and he wins about 30% of his faceoffs. So this guy could help with that. But this is probably the worst idea of them all. It would make me go inactive right away before I even got out of juniors. That's no good. I think my plan will be to be really active early, hit 400 TPE, then be a welfare queen until I have to go inactive in six months. Hopefully by that time I'll have a useful player that a GM can have for cheap. Wow. I wrote so many words. If I could make my new player right now, I'd turn it into a full media but can't do that yet so biding my time until I need to try a bit here.

Jerrick Poole has risen from the dead and he wants a cup. He's going to be a free agent for the first time in his short life and while he will be euthanized after S47, he wants to go out on top. So here is what he wants: Good team - If you aren't going to even maybe win a cup, Poole will not come. Role - Jerrick really doesn't want to change positions. But he will play on second pairing defense if team is good enough. He is a team player. Not Quebec - Jerrick really hasn't been following the league lately so he's not totally up to speed with how good any teams are besides the fact that the Vikings are now bad. He doesn't care how good Quebec City is. He would rather retire. So now you might be asking what Jerrick can bring to your team, Mr./Mrs/Ms. VHL GM. Well today's your lucky day: Strong defensive play - Jerrick lives to pound the body and fuck people up. If you want a beast, he's your man. Semi-activity - It's hard to make any promises here. But chances are, Jerrick's activity level in the locker room is going to be hard to predict. He could just die again or he could be a regular contributor. Nobody knows. Rich as fuck - Jerrick has made a lot of money in his days as a quick blooming but overall mediocre defenseman in the VHL. He will not be asking for anything but the minimum salary.
