Post in this thread to claim welfare/pension for this week.  If you are claiming welfare/pension, you cannot claim any 6 TPE Point Tasks for this week (Media Spot/Graphic/Podcast) or League jobs paying 6+ TPE.   VHL Welfare Plan - Members with fewer than two 400+ TPE players may claim 4 TPE VHL Pension Plan - Members who have created two or more 400+ TPE players may claim 5 TPE VHL Affiliate Plan - Members who post a Point Task this week, in either the EFL or SBA, may link to that Point Task to claim 6 TPE Once you reach 400 TPE with your current player, if that is your second player to reach 400 TPE, you are allowed to claim the pension plan. So instead of only taking in account previous players it also accounts for your current one.   Example:  Green has had Remy LeBeau (TPE: 1301) in the past. Thomas O'Malley, his second player, is now past 400 TPE, he is eligible for the VHL Pension Plan. Note: Welfare/Pension Plan are not eligible for Doubles Weeks. Review: great stuff @monkeywrench15 player pops really nicely and the image feels very balanced, with the floating ice and hazy blurs. clean font work. the out of focus background is very nice.

Review: @Bushito doing magic yet again. incredible use of geometry and textures to create a very dynamic sig. love the all red look and how you pushed the brightness levels in key areas to make the image pop. awesome font choice too.

Review: awesome Tron 80s video game vibes. dope font choice! i like how you color corrected the player but would have liked to see a little glitchiness on him - like some chromatic aberration / playing subtly with RBG tones to push the retro video game feel further. killer style man

Review: digging this. feels like a Heavy Metal 1990s cd cover. dope glitches and the player and background all blend together in a great way. you went kinda badass / chaotic with the BG, would have maybe given the font a similar feel maybe. like something more energy and wild

Review: red text on red jersey is tough to read. would have been dope to give the text a white outline or something so it stands out from background more. the vintage vibe on the photo is pretty cool, would be dope to apply similar washed out colors / textures on the font as it feels digital.

Review: nice work @okochastar, I’m a fan of the blue wash over the graphics. you started something interesting with the square geometry in the background, would have been cool to play with similar elements in foreground as well to create harmony. not a fan of the hard outline on player as it feels accidental - go bolder with it next time!

Review: i love the intimate look at a hard fought playoff series. you made this battle feel vivid and real with strong writing and a personal perspective on everything that was at stake. awesome work @studentized let’s keep hustling next season!

Review: awesome article man. very in depth and eye opening! scouting is one of my favorite aspects of sim leagues, and it’s rare to get a chance to look back and re-evaluate the opinions / picks made in past seasons. love the focus on sleeper picks of the article, and tracking the players’ success and failures. awesome work @Renomitsu (would love to see articles like this in SBA too ?)

1. Through 72 games we've seen some highs and some Lows (hehe), but through it all what's everyone's favorite memory from this season? I love how New York kept believing in each other and fought our way to a strong finish after a rough start. We're like the Mighty Ducks, and Esso is our Estevez. I think our win streak shocked the league a bit. 2. We finished 7th overall in the league, coming ahead of both Toronto and Calgary, while nearly taking 6th place from Malmo in the process. Is this better or worse than you would have predicted before the season started? We're exactly where I hoped to be - a playoff spot, with the potential to upset anyone. 3. Going back to the highs and lows, which was more surprising? Our race to the bottom of the standings or our unbelievable redemption run to get us where we stand now? The redemption run, after the fall. 4. Looking forward we are set to face Seattle in the first round, how do we feel about this matchup? Let's get it! 5. Looking into the storylines, Guy LeGrande, former Americans defenseman will be coming home to face us in this first round matchup, what impact does this have on the coming series for you? I like Guy, but this is playoffs. We're coming for him. 6. Rookies Soren Jensen and Ryo Yamazuki II make up 2 of the top 3 rookies in terms of points, with Jensen looking to take home ROTY. How do you expect next seasons rookies (David O'Quinn, Jaxon Walker and Danny DeYeeto) to preform? I'm excited to see the rookies come in and do their thing. This is their team too. Make it their own.
