Your stats show that lines have changed nothing if not made it worse. P/20 is down, SB/G is down, G/G is down, your Power Play has been ass. +/- is up but that's a team stat, assists are up but are subject to your teammates. Your stats had nothing to do with lines, you complained when we opened and you had 22 mins instead of 26-28 and just ignored me at first when I explained it's just STHS and PP/PK time. When I explained further at least you acknowledged it and seemed to understand.

At the end of the day this sim league is built around camaraderie and having fun. The stats and games bring us together for a common goal but it's far from the end all and be all that you want it to be. I mostly enjoyed when you were on Seattle, not sure what changed with you. Maybe it was just Bana and the Bears didn't take shit from anyone or maybe it was the crazy success we had but you aren't as nice or as easy to deal with as you were back then. I was asked pre draft if you would be a problem and I said no because my main job is to deal with assholes, but I will say I'm glad to have you off the team as you made what is supposed to be a fun environment into a toxic/disheartening one every sim. Which is saying something since you only managed 3 sims before being traded.

Again this league is for fun. We all want to have a good time and cheer each other on! There's no good place for someone whos being all about me me me when the league is about everyone. Hopefully you'll come back around to that sometime.

Feels good. Toronto's management seems to have an idea of what they want to do to progress forward.

Defence, defence, defence. First job is to stop goals, second is to score them

I'd be happy with a point every other game and a +20 on the season

After two big trades early on I don't think much more. We will see what happens

So you know what that means... it means I've procrastinated the week away doing GM tasks and then forgot to be doing my tasks for my various players across my leagues! So welcome to my ramble session where I tend not to talk about anything in particular and just whatever comes to mind. 

Minnesota's off to a fairly hot start of 7-1-2. Mind you I'd love to be in Houstons spot of 10-0-0 but I've preached it in the locker room every day, regular season is just a trial period for playoffs. Plus winning that many games in a row sets unrealistic expectations for how the team should perform and could be a big blow to morale when the tides do turn.

Toronto is doing well and above what I was expecting, especially post trading Merrick and Osens. 3-3-4 is nothing to scoff at when you're only 8 points back of 1st with a game in hand. The season is a long 72 games and lots can still change.

Such fond memories for us in Seattle, such nightmares for everyone else. No matter where you stand you can respect the outcomes, this is one of the best dynasties in league history. I'm very thankful I was a part of it and a key of it.

Well it's that time of the week and I don't have the max TPE. Now mind you I like to skip this in favour of press conference but this week is championship week in PBE and that means I would much rather get affiliate there and not have to write more shit. So what's up with me. Well VHLM Minnesota missed playoffs for just the third time since I took over, meanwhile my player is headed to round two after San Diego sweeps Miami. No sexy upset for Miami this season thankfully. Now as for personal play, I'm actually doing better than I did last playoffs which isn't as impressive as it sounds as I had 5 points in 7 games last season while I have 6 points in 4 games. 1.5 PPG is actually double .71 PPG not that you'd think that at first glance. Oh look, my word count is close so I'll see you next week

As for returning players, if they've been released they can be resigned as an active Free Agent. We used to be allowed to hold inactive players that were drafted for the 3 seasons the drafting rights granted you. Now we can no longer hold any inactive players after 3 weeks of inactivity.

Oh look it's Sunday again and I've procrastinated writing my vhl .com article yet again so get ready for a lot of talking that really isn't that interesting. 

Minnesota is doing good, started splitting sims 1-1 a lot recently which shows we're in a good place for the future and our team is developing. Sadly we are not going to make the playoffs but that was to be expected considering it was the plan. It's been weird to be in this place two seasons in a row, considering it's only my third missing playoffs since I took over midway through 66. I expect that we will be very strong for the next two or three seasons depending on how the draft pools go. I'm hoping we see a nice recruitment drive but considering the first one this season wasn't great I'm going to work as if it's going to be like any other season.

Oh and Happy Holidays if you decided to read though this anyways
