@VanCanWin when you search for an image on google use the "Tools" tab at the top and then go to "Image size" and select pictures > 2MB and most of them are pretty high quality. I usually use > 4MB though. That being said it doesnt mean they'll actually be good resolution but more likely

Let me start this team marketing article with two thoughts.

    1. I smell a Vancouver Wolves logo overhaul coming in the near future as it was definitely a challenge to work with. At the same time, I think the outcome of my team swag ordeal is alright but I’ll let you decide that for yourself.

    2. There is a cute Michael Gary Scott bobblehead (@Motzaburger I hope you approve lol) that I am petitioning the Wolves to turn into a fan giveaway night in one of their upcoming home games.  This is shown at the bottom of this page.

Now for the swag. I hope you all feel compelled to add these items to your cart and wear the Wolves clothing proudly!

I started my design with a team ball cap since every team needs one of these. In the end, I came out with two designs that both worked really well and so I decided to produce both of them.

Besides the ball caps, I was looking to diversify the clothing line with some classics as well as some original ideas. This being the third team I have designed swag for, new ideas are always a must. First, let me give you the classics.

Here I have a tee shirt and a sweat shirt.  The tee shirt is a classic sports tee shirt with a clean two toned look to it.

The sweat shirt is a bit more unique but still a sweat shirt is a classic none-the-less. The design features a simple team name writing on the front with a large wolf on the back. The hood is patterned with wolf fur.

Lastly, I’ve designed a few collectibles and useful items with team logos and colours on it.  The two items I chose were the lunch box / cooler and a coffee mug.

As for the potential fan giveaway in Vancouver, here is a Michael Gary Scott bobblehead.

I'd buy either one of these shirts if people in real life actually were to understand them.

Some team swag I’ve been working on for the Halifax 21st.  As always, I’m open to suggestions regarding my graphics and future work! I work off of 5/6 iPhone apps to piece together the best graphics I can!

The new Halifax logo and colour scheme was amazing to work with!! @Sonnet

If any other teams want some swag done, I would love to do it for you!

Review: Good article! You definitely get in depth with creating the background story of your character. Sentence structure and flow at times was a little choppy and could be cleaned up but the content and development of the story was very well done. Good job!

VanCanWin got a reaction from fonziGG in Random Thoughts For my First VHL Season
So the draft experience was interesting.

As the draft got close I was actually getting into it a bit, familiarizing myself with the draft class and with the teams that might select me. In the end, Malmo showed faith in me enough to trade for a third round pick to ensure I was added to their squad. Overall, the experience was fun and was nice to be drafted by a team like Malmo.

Now my focus is on the upcoming season. It’ll be my first season in the pros! Expectations I feel from those outside of myself are reserved and basically operate on a “whatever we get is bonus” type of thought considering I was an unexpected steal in the third round.  It is commonly thought I will be starting my career on the wing rather than my preferred slot down the middle.

My expectations for myself are different however. I don’t see myself as a tag-along on this team. I feel I will be a big time contributor already in season one. Yes, I’ll probably start with third line minutes on the wing but I’ll prove my worth up the middle at times. I’ll get my shot on the power play. My build is set up make the best out of whatever limited chances I do get.

I can’t wait to get the season started! I want to make the playoffs. I want to score goals. I want to shut down other teams lines. I want to help my team in any way I can.

    Let’s do this!
