  1. 1. Yes im not a VHLM star and many of our prospects are raw. Which usually leads to struggles which we have started to see now. 2. Gary Neal or whatever his name is hes been on fire for the team this year. 3. Score goals, and bang babes so far accomplishing both. 4. Different player types playing off one another 5. Komarov is when he wants to be the problem is hes has been streaky. 6. Friendships its the only reason i have been here for so long
  2. Komarov started off the season hot. However, recently his play has dropped off abit he has not been seen at practice often missing it. Hes been described as lazy, and that makes him a russian stéréotype. When things are going good for the Russian, he plays like a man on a mission. However when things are going poorly he has not. He often has taken shifts off, or hogging the puck. It must be frustrating to the Wild fan base as they can see he clearly has all the talent in the world to be a star player. Coachs have been benching him lately, trying to send a message to the russian. Talking anout making him a healthy scratch has surfaced as well as he continues to just not commit to working out. Vancouver has been reached out too for aid as they own his rights in the VHL. Only tine will tell if the russian will get the memo or fade into obscurity.
  3. So me too lol im a free agent pick up Unless rules changed usually its late starters or guys creating there next player that go into the draft. Pengu would be too early that id assume he will stay in halifax. I forget the cut off point, but it was usually late season guys
  4. Halifax roster is very weak, pretty much a few options to score, and defend the team lacks depth and serious options. They have however emerged as the best of the worst. Currently 7th in the league with 40 points. The team in led by Pengu, Heinen, and Komarov who are all near or in the to 10 scoring for rookies. Which is impressive for Pengu, and Komarov as they did not play the first 20ish games in the league. Pengu even more as he appears to be a first gen whose earning at an amazing rate which could he a steal for some team in the VHL draft. Next year i would assume to see all 3 of these guys back which means Halifax should be a threat unlike this season where its been development only. Time will tell how big an impact these guys have on the roster next season.
  5. Despite playing 20 games not in the line up well registering 3 points. His next 28 games have seen the Russian register 36 points. Showing just what the raw talented Russian is capable of doing, he continues to develop at a slower rate he will not be a high pick, due to much deeper drafts. However keep an eye out for his talent as someone whose shown he can build players his performance in a year where half the time he did not play to be gaining close to a PPG now shows he has skill. He has learned a lot from his family, his mentor is Sergei Komarov who was always in the convo for best two way forward during his career. The problem he has was playing against 2 generational type players during his prime. Time will tell just how well this hulking 6'8 Russian does in his career but the family has not had a bust yet. Though some never fully lived up to their grand potential due to real life. Halifax is a bad team, but it has a few bright spots with Heinen, and Pengu, along with Komarov. Who despite lack of depth seem to be performing well for the team. Likely will not make the playoffs or even if they do bounced first round. However, much less frustration on Halifax than his time in San Deigo
  6. Komarov got sick of losing
  7. The games total reads 4 games, but due to flight issues, and passport issues. Its really only 2 games, and in those 2 games Komarov has put up 3 points. He knows he not going to carry a weak Halifax team to a cup. However he is showing just what he can do if he gets ice time. The hulking russian checks in at 6'8 but has hands of silk. He can skate fairly well, and knows how important both ends of the ice are. He has a lot to work on as you would expect a young player to work on. Many want him to use his frame more, and he is not very aggressive. This is shocking given the Komarov family is known to be big strong hitters. To see it lacking in his game, stuns fans who are so used to seeing that family known for it. He also lacks a solid passing game, dont let the stat line fool you he does not really have great vision. Time will tell how he continues to round out his game, and how Halifax performs with him in the line up. Early results at least offensively have been positive.
  8. Freedom
  9. I did pretty much got the no exceptions was decided a long time ago lol
  10. Pretty much being held hostage as i said in the end. Cuz IR knows i build good players, been on the block over a week now. I figured my price was probably high hence why no team has traded for me
  11. Kazimir Komarov is on the block, at this point im fine settling for playing hockey sick of not being in the Marlins line up. Playing under 5 minutes a night when the sim decides players are tired. I should not cost a ton as apparently im " inactive" so not worth playing. Contact Marlins management now, aquire a player who can only go up from here. From a family that brings it with every player they bring into the league. Sergei, Vlad, Pavel, and Evgeni were all star players in juniors though for different reasons. I come with experience in the sim, and a veteran attitude. I prefer to avoid drama, as im an older member in real life age. Can blend in with almost any lr pressence at this point. Has won 4 titles as a GM/Player in juniors despite not many seasons. Know how to win, and help other members grow. Call now, for the low price of whatever because at this point i feel im a hostage not a player on the team.
  12. I have been a part of this league, closing in on 6 years now. Not consistently, as the real worls does come first like the birth of my 2 children, losing my first wife, and now my sons cancer. However, its always been a place i come back too, try to check in on. See how people are doing, i had some great memories. From nearly stopping the 3peat as an underdog GM in Davos, to Sergei amazing career, or bashing in heads with Evgeni Komarov. Ive formed friendships with some members, and always enjoyed my time here. Ive been a GM, helped the junior commish team, basically ran a team after the GM went MIA, and helped countless members in their careers. I learned, how to type english better on this site. Shared some emotional moments in my life. I stepped away with the hopes to return one day. A few seasons later, i return. However, sadly my experience here has been less than ideal. I returned an basically had my choice of almost all junior teams, knowing my return and my time is fairly limited i wanted to join a contender. Even if it meant less ice time, my time away took abit of adjusting to return to updating, as i did not know we moved practice facility and my first week was full of appointments with my son. The season started, now a few weeks old and my player is averaging under 5 minutes due to my gm not placing me in the lineup. Claiming i was inactive, despite i logged in every day. Apparently im on the trade block now which is fine, but still not playing is frustrating, beyond words as i have no clue how im actually doing. The next problem rolled down when the league decided it was going to drastically change welfare siteing TPE inflation. Meaning im losing about 10 TPE a season now, because the league instead of punishing SBA members who litterly post barely anything on the site by taking away their free tpe they now take away from members who contribute to the site. The answer back to me from the commish team? If i havent had 2 700TPE players have i really ever done anything? Why yes i have an i listed in above, the second response its only 1 TPE which like i just stated is about 10 a season, which equates to about 90TPE loss and thats not factoring offseason which puts it close to 100. This desicion was not met well, but the commish team does not seem to care about its members. Proof being the next choice, since i joined answer sharing has been a thing an probably before me. I never really did trivia despite always having the answers. However, again the commish team has decided to axe it without even consulting the man who created it. Who stepped down in response as he didn not want it this way. This removed another way i could regain the TPE already stolen from me by the league. They did this by now banning members from answer sharing which has faced even bigger back lash than welfare. The league is in a sad state of affairs and i admit its made me reconsider my return to the league as all the fun is being drained away.
  13. Yes just cuz i dont have no life an able to put up 3 articles a week and spend money to boost things. Ive had 4 players all with good careers 600+ tpe 3 of them. And 900 TPE for Sergei, 2 Komarovs did not benifit from boosted pension, or the claimed inflation of TPE. Which leaves me 1 player(my last in which i had to step away from my sons cancer) or he might have earned 700 TPE. Cuz my other one in "inflation era" earned 900.
  14. And so ends the shortest return ever lol. So not only is my team not putting me in the line up im now losing TPE cuz the league instead of stopping giving SPA bonus they hurt the members who have put time into the league. Very disapointed in this sad move @Commissioner
  15. Still not in the line up what a joke lol makes me happy to return to not even play in the game for more than 5 minutes
  16. Komarov wanted to sign with a team that gave him a shot at the cup. It wasn't really a debate, however he is not officially on any line. Playing 4minutes and 40 seconds a game, Komarov has not been pleased watching players double shify well he just sits on the bench hoping he might play some hockey. Its early in his career but it is obvious Komarov is still like most of his family and not one to voice his opinion. If Komarov does not see at least a slight uptick in his ice time it wont take very long to demand a trade. Something Komarov has never done in their family tree to date. However he was pitched an offer that had not been fulfilled so far by the GM of coach. The play of the Marlins has been great so far as they sit 3-1-1 but many players appear to be riding pine more than playing which makes some wonder just how many players are going to speak out in the coming days if they do not see time. Only time will tell what road the Marlins and Komarov go down will it be happily ever after? Or nightmare on elm street the ball is in Marlins managements court now.
  17. So the the reason for staying in the VHLM beyond season 1 now is useless cuz ur only get 20 TPE when promoted?
  18. After just some deliberation, and time i think im going with this offer. Thank you to everyone for the offers as im unsure what my level of activity. Id rather take a shot at a cup this season if i can even if it means im a tad buried in the line up.
  19. Lol wait what the VHL is going to sell merch now? Is it fake merch or stuff u can buy on a real store front.
  20. Season 67 lol ? your fake news
