Averaged similar shot totals per series, we also played 2 almost as high scoring teams as you guys. 915sv% 2.76gaa, vs 910sv% 3.10gaa(which was boosted SOLEY by the finals) after our team was litterly forced to change our entire roster in the finals. Not disputing victors great and gunna build a stud lol, but again my numbers would have killed him if we didnt get forced to change our roster. I was .26sv higher heading into the finals.

Kinda shocked when i had one of the best playoff numbers in VHLM history, to not even get runner up ? not gunna lie even if i lost i was majorly overlooked.

Who really cares good luck to them, but ya i mean i really dont bother following any other draft classes beside my own. Byrne, ill be lucky to see the ice more than 8 times. Havent really paid attention, but hopefully do well. Tallinder as im guessing defenseman is a defender lol, and edwin i dunno what type of build he went with this time. Correct me if i am wrong here, but with a victory here either team will finally win a cup for their first in team history. The Marauders are riding high after taking down Halifax who suffered from the same thing basically every team who dominates the regular season suffers from for some reason. Choking, hard in the playoffs. Then they almost blew it versus Vegas. This is a team riding high and fully confident. They now face the best of the other division in the Hounds. They have stars Dan Dan, L and R, and Taro. They also have the second best goalie in the regular season, and the best in the playoffs Askarov. If they are to upset the Hounds team they are going to need to find a way to solve Askarov Coming in to the finals with a 926sv% and 2.32gaa, Askarov has dominated the competition to this point. His counter part has a 900sv% and a 3.37gaa. Time will tell what just occurs in this David vs goliath fight, both teams are riding high with confidence who will break first find out tomorrow.

The Hounds really slipped at the end of the season falling from 2nd to 4th. Askarov played well, but something felt off heading in. Which worried the goalie, however it seems he re-found his game. The Hounds cruised to a 4-1 series win. Plenty of players did their part Askarov included. With a solid team effort, they are now moving towards the next round. Who they will be playing is totally unknown at this point. But if they play as good as they did in round one they can take anyone in the playoffs. We know this team was riding high till the huge struggle at the end so will they see a jeckel and hyde act again? If they can keep the momentum going they should atleast push to the finals if not win the cup.

Askarovs first struggle of the season nothing else. Well if round 1 proved it, im more than ready to dominate. Stopping all the pucks it seems Sadly we really choked it up, but its how you finish. Its so bad dont even bother lol. They added some weird basic answer cut scenes where u answer press, coaches, GM, and your agent some very scripted stuff. You litterly can not miss the NHL. I had a 580sv% an a 5.4gaa and was named the hurricanes back up. Sounds like year 2 your skater always gets named captain for some reason. Its really actually a huge step backwards versus forwards.

Looks like 2nd is ours too lose, and Halifax just keeps winning same rate we are so not catching up. None Asia burned a bridge with me so who cares. Not much to watch but enjoyed season 2 of the Boys Usa, Canada, Asia in some kinda order The Toronto Maple leafs are overhyped Impossible, the VHLM doesnt see teams stay at the top very long.

The season, has been very good for the Hounds. Taro, L, and R, Askarov and the rest of the cast is currently just behind the Halifax team for second in the league. The standings have likely been set for the most part. At least in terms of who the top dogs are an who is the bottom tier of the league. It feels a lot better, this season to not be a bad team. Askarov has not been asked to carry his team once again. He has been very solid however, and he wants to keep improving himself. He of course knows he is going to be rested as the team just acquired a new goalie who will get a few starts as the season winds down. It appears to be a three horse race, for the cup between the Hounds, the Wild, and the 21st. Who will capture the cup this season Askarov hopes it is him.

I wanted to do a deeper dive, but honestly im tired it was a longer weekend then i expected. So instead of doing older players and picking my dream team i will take my players i would take today in the VHL. The only requirement is to be in the VHL right now. So without further ado, here is my dream roster of players currently playing today. Center Ice Brock Louth Runner up: Mikko Lahtinen I was back an fourth on this one, on one hand Lahtinen is the more physical of the two players. However i went with Brock Louth because, he wins draws, well putting up similar point totals. I am a strong believer in the sim tying winning face offs to puck control, and by winning more draws means more wins ideally. Left Wing Patrick Tallinder Runner Up: Adam Syreck Syreck is a young kid and i think could have a very bright future ahead. However, i went with the league leading scorer in the entire league. Brock Louth appears to be a very balanced offensive center, well Tallinder appears to be a solid play maker. He is my star winger, and figures to be a huge part of my attack. Right Wing Jungkok Runner up: Owen Nolan Jungkok, is my type of player. Well he is not a huge point producer, he is not a bad one either. He hits everything that moves though, he a an elite two way player based on his plus minus too. Nolan is a solid middle ground not a huge hitter, which nor is anyone in the top 10 right wingers. Jungkok himself, is a guy who fits a big need on an offensive style team. Coughleafscough he should be able to make the ice a little safer. Left Defense Condor Adrienne Runner up: Vladimir Pavlov The jack of all trades, Condor is a big point producer, he is a top 2 way talent. He hits, he blocks shots. He is the man, you really want on the backend. Pavlov is a very good but softer defensemen. I chose 2 guys who really define defenders to me, versus just the top offensive guys. Condor could very well win his second, defender of the year award again this season. Who would not want the top player on their team all the time? Right Defense Lincoln Tate Runner up: Jeff Downey Like Condor, he is what i define as a defensemen. He hits, blocks shots, and puts up points. Imagine barreling down the ice an seeing these two at the other end. You might just be frozen in fear, especially due to the strong chance you will be crushed. Downey himself is a good defender himself he just is not as well rounded as i would like on my back end. Goalie Stone Wolski Runner up: Jacques Lafontaine This is the closest race possible out of every pick i had to make. Both goalie are right in their prime, both are playing amazing. They both will battle for top goalie this season. The reason i specifically chose Wolski is for what he is doing on an expansion team. He is really carrying them am helping them defy expectations. Its possible but not likely at all Ghost of Tshusima was an amazing game, cyberpunk is next. None but id love to win MVP or top goalie. NHL 15 since 21 is the same game anyways ? Halloween i dont get it at all haha I dont have weakness, that is for quitters.

Askarov is happy, with how his team has played. However, he himself is very much not happy with his own play. He feels he is not stopping enough shots. However he has made sure, he does not quit an at least is making sure he is keeping his team in most games. He will keep pushing an working on himself. As he is focused on the big picture an winning the cup. He sees Halifax, and Saskatoon as his biggest obstacles in accomplishing that goal. The Hounds keeper will not be happy until he captures the hardware. Before he graduates next season to the VHL. He has been a star for where he was picked, and Calgary is very lucky to have nabbed him at 41st overall. Time will tell just what the future holds for him. However he is focused on winning the cup for the Hounds at this very moment.

Rest of the season 0 more losses losing is for the weak Cup or bust we can not do any worse or its a lost season when your a contender. Team owner would be cool, can fire your GM if hes not doing well. Could impact player signings and draft prospects. Uhh i dunno never really celebrated halloween Halifax, the other contender in my opinion. Wings vs Avs was a ton of fun a long time ago when they were really good. Now i guess its Caps vs Pens or Pens vs Flyers.

The offense as a whole, but Taro has been good if i had to pick a player. Need to find a better groove, but we did have a very good run. Just keep pushing forward Lightining have been the Sharks for awhile, in terms of losing when they are contenders. Everyone active why pick one when we are going and doing well. Cold you can bundle up to warm up. When your hot all you can do is get naked an pray. None, i dont have time im only here because i enjoy this league.

The Hounds have not hit the ground perfectly. Sitting 4th in the league right now. Just recently they got smoked by the Wild. Askarov stated his performance was not good enough. He has completed his development for the Hounds and now hopes the rest of his roster can really develop, and the team turns it up as the roster heads towards the 2nd portion of the first half of the season. The Hounds are a serious contender, they know it. Time will hopefully fix their issues as they try to push further up the standings. Askarov has been very streaky its unclear if it is him or his own play. Time will tell as the season winds on farther. He will hold himself accountable, as he feels goalie is the most important position in hockey. He can not slack off now, he will continue to put in work despite being overlooked by VHL GMs.

Long hectic, lots of communication issues with my VHL team. Still havent heard a peep from my GM ? We did fine, early results show we need to tighten things up and bury the puck a bit better though. Askarov needs to be a star but hes not been great to start. Offense i think L and R plus Hjalmarsson we okay at defense. Defense improved the most in the draft in my opinion. I dunno one that ends this pandemic hahah so whenever it ends will be my favourite season
