    (S79) Tyler Reinhart

Nuuk. A small village located in the barren arctic known as Greenland. With only a population of 17,635.
It's hard to imagine very many athletes appearing on the world stage from Nuuk, however,
one family has managed to have a group of three siblings all make it to the VHLM with a fourth sibling coming next season.
This family is of course the Reinharts. They are composed of Asher, Reylynn, Jerome, and Tyler Reinhart.

Tyler Reinhart and his twin Jerome Reinhart both grew up playing hockey on a line together for Greenland's only  travel team the Nuuk SnowHawks. The SnowHawks played mainly in Denmark with a few games in Norway. There Tyler would tear it up being tied with another player for the first in scoring in the league for both seasons he played with the SnowHawks. The other was of course his twin, Jerome. The Reinhart's took the SnowHawks to back-to-back championships. Despite the clear skill the twins possessed not many junior teams wanted them. This was because of Denmark and Norway’s lack of skilled competition.
Fortunately Tyler and Jerome managed to impress the scouts of the Vaxjo TimberWolves, a Junior team who had been watching the Reinhart Twins carefully. They had signed both Asher and Reylynn Reinhart a few seasons prior making the next crop of Reinhart's high on their radar. With the Timberwolves, Tyler would have a decent first season getting 39 points in 50 games. Unfortunately during the following season, Tyler had had many disagreements with the coaching staff of Vaxjo. This resulted in him not getting nearly as much playing time as he wanted and caused him a lot of stress throwing him off his game. Despite this, he was still improving his scoring. He put up a solid 19 points in the first 15 games of the season. It was in his 16th game where Tyler would, unfortunately, have his time in Vaxjo cut short. After scoring a goal early in the first period, a player named Magnus Stefan charged him ramming into his shoulder sending his head smashing into the boards. He later was diagnosed with a concussion and had a dislocated shoulder. During those moments after the charge, laying on the ice Tyler decided he was done playing for Vaxjo and wouldn’t return when he recovered. It took a good few weeks before Tyler was 100% again and in that time he got his manager to look for a different team that would take him. This task proved to be very difficult as already around 60 games had already been played for most leagues. One of the only leagues that had a rule that let teams grab new players mid-way through the season was the VHLM, the minor pro league for the famed Victory Hockey League. It was a long shot as Tyler had planned to attempt to get into the M in S78 after having another season to develop. His manager managed to get a tryout with the Mississauga Hounds the top team at the time. The Hounds also happened to be the team his older cousin Tobias Reinhart plays for. During the tryout, Tyler impressed the general manager and was given a shot at the fourth line. He plays his first game later today and scouts are already anticipating him to be one of the better players in S78.

@Zetterberg Come play for Houston where some of the other Reinharts made their name. You can be on third line and if you pass someone in the 2nd you can move up. We are heading to the playoffs but I'll be 100 and say our chances are not as good as last season, so I 100% understand if you would rather go to a team and sit on the 4th line for a chance at a cup.

Ricer13 reacted to Ledge in How I was Recruited
Hi everyone, it Sunday and I need TPE. I'm gonna write about how I was recruited to the league. I joined the VHL in early September 2020, narrowly after my 13th birthday, which was a relief considering the disocrd age policy. Anyway, I hadn't heard about the VHL until around then, from a site called capfriendly. Capfriendly was meant to be a site where you could follow cap space, signings, trades, etc. in the NHL. I, as a massive hockey fan, got into the forum part of it, which allowed you to play as a GM of a team, managing cap space and trades and such. Then one fateful day, when I was looking through some threads at the bottom of the forum, I saw a little recruitment ad placed by Beav. Intrigued, I clicked on it. It brought me to the forum, which immediately overwhelmed and confused the fuck outta me. So I left it alone for a few days, bumbled around on CF some more, when my curiosity got the best of me and I explored the forum and the portal a bit more. This time, I was feeling confident, so I stole a username off a CF guy and made an account (my CF username is HabsFan9. I'm not very creative with usernames). I spent a few hours debating on what my player name should be. I eventually just went with some random Swedish name I made up. So Ledge and Dairy (2.0) and Linus Zetterstrom were born. Then, I got confused because nothing happened after I created my player in my player thread, until rory and beav are nice enough to answer some of my noob questions! Yes, @rory was the second VHL member that I had a conversation with. Shudder. Either way, after about a week of impatiently waiting for the playoffs to end and trying to figure shit out, I got draft interviews from @Ricer13 and @JigglyGumballs. So I pretty much knew that I was going to either be an Ace or a Marauder by the end of the draft. And no offense to Ricer or Miami, but I'm glad things played out the way they did. Jiggs and @Spartan drafted me in the fourth round. I didn't know anything about the twitch draft at that point, so I was spamming the reload button on my laptop for almost two hours straight. Still, a great experience for me, joining a team. After some time, Jiggs finally pressured me into getting discord, which was a life saver. I then learned how to max earn, and have been doing so almost ever since.

I have a few minutes in between laundry loads so I figured I would take this opportunity to actually do more point tasks!

News brought late yesterday afternoon that Phil THE ROCK Johnson was traded to Calgary. The deal was made pretty quick, which is either insulting, because Seattle wanted to get rid of him so quickly, or a compliment, because the Horsies wanted him so bad. Either way the news broke for the Rock when he got an email notification for Calgary GM @Ricer13 welcoming him to the team. Really it’s the Rocks own fault because he hadn’t checked discord that day and did see @Banackockmessaging him.

Regardless, looking at the trade it seems that both teams get some good pieces out of it, and being a team player, that’s all He wants. The Phil Knight agency loves the Seattle franchise (was the first ever team his players were drafted by back in S18) and He has never ever had a player for Calgary, so he is excited.

I guess i should do this now before o forget eh, alright well let’s try to take a look at my career from the start.
I joined in Season 75 as part of the big recruitment drive that did wonders here. And for why am I mentioning this to you? Who cares? Well just after creating i actually got two offers like bang! And to be honest like everyone I had zero clue what I was doing or in for. I tried looking through forums on how to’s and honestly after accepting my what had been a good relationship with Ir I ended up loving the league. The Marlins sucked terrible at the time with like no actives iirc and had just a really bad season. We were quite honestly shit but like 50 feet below shit kinda shit you know?

anyways I joined later in season with obviously no playoffs in sight the draft had come up. I was very excited however and I really wanted to win in San Diego and still have that soft spot for them. So the draft! This for myself was probably the most fun to this day I’ve had in my time here. I ended up going.... FIRST OVERALL. Yeah I know, a shit player first? The gm must have been crazy! Well... it is Ir and Moose at the time

so relate this to Theme week and to get my tpe that’s needed. This is my question I ask myself still Is what if I took the reapers offer instead at this time? Who would I of played with? How different would my experiences and career be? What all could of changed for myself and the league? Remember I wasn’t 200 tpe even in the M being first. I remember the good ol live stream and the hype and attention I got caught me off guard I really had no idea lol

ive always kinda wondered it still but honestly I’m thankful for the opportunity’s I’ve had in the M. I mean my second season of all in with respectfully great players and members like Scotty, Rayz, Vick, Phill, Boom and the one and only TATE! and the others that I’m forgetting. It was a great Lr to be part of and I hoped they all enjoyed there time there like I did.

This was just a really fun and special team for me and just couldn’t of wanted it any different other then winning the M. That still sucks for me to this day. I wanted to win with that core badly. I mean who wouldn’t?

To rookies on getting drafted- you suck especially first gens like I do and did. It’s about tpe earning and grinding to be good. Do as many tasks as you can and talk on forums or discord ask questions and be respectful to the other members it’ll make your experience much better! Good luck on your drafts and hopefully to see you all have great long and fun careers. Learning is key to success here. Cheers till next time.

Ricer13 reacted to samx in The VH(e)L a New Type of League
We all know the VHL as the Victory Hockey League. Well, I am here to tell you about where in another alternative world VH(e)L is the Victory Hotdog (eating) League. Crazy I know but it exists.

Let me explain how this league came around. The year was about 1967 and a guy named Steve and his friend Bill raced to see who could eat the most hot dogs in 10 minutes. Well, this intrigued many people and they would line up to come to see it happen. Then people would start having competitions of their own between friends and family. This would slowly over time turn into an annual event at a fair in Bognor Regis England. Hundreds of people would turn out each year to watch grown adults eat hot dogs. The trend started to spread around the world with these contests happening in countries on every continent of the earth. Then a man by the name of George came up with a brilliant idea… make a league of hot dog eating. And that is how VH(e)L came to be.

The point of the league? To eat a bunch of hotdogs! Well here's how it works… You are on teams of three and you compete against other teams to see who can eat the most hotdogs. Each match lasts about an hour. Each member of your team goes up against another member of the other team whatever team wins more rounds well then they win the match. Each round is 15 minutes of pure chaos. The rules are simple… eat as many hot dogs as possible within the time limit. The hot dogs must be plain with only a hot dog and a bun. The entire dog and bun must be gone for it to count towards your score. Each contestant is allowed two 20oz bottles of water for whatever reason they may need. If you throw up while the round is still going on you automatically lose.

There are two conferences within the league. The European Conference and the North American conference. Each conference consists of 10 different teams. You play each other team in your conference 3 times during the season. Then the top 4 teams from each conference go head to head to determine a conference winner from both sides. Once a conference winner is determined in both conferences then the two winning teams will go head to head in a 3-day tournament. Each day has 3 rounds like a normal season. Whoever wins 2 out of the 3 days wins the championship and is crowded top dogs of the year.

Last season the crowned winner was the Swiss Hikers who went undefeated in the season of play and won the championship over the Seattle stingrays in 2 days with no third day even being needed. That Swiss team has been called the best team of all time. In a round of play, one of their players ate over 100 hot dogs in 15 minutes. No one in the league has ever gotten close to that. The Swiss hikers have really set a new expectation of how many hot dogs teams should be able to eat. They have certainly raised the standards of the league.
