Ambrose Charizard was recently drafted 10th overall by the reigning VHLM Champion Ottawa Lynx. In a recent interview with ESPN, Charizard spoke about the importance of being on a competitive team and the way he views the VHLM.

A hand written note was found taped to Titan Kronos' locker before a Saturday night game during the typical time the team would be available to speak to the media. Kronos was nowhere to be found.
 
They laugh, but do they understand what they are laughing at?

I've put the weight on this world on my shoulders and the world has done nothing more than make fun of the man carrying them. Do they not know the sacrifice I have made? Do they not understand what I have had to go through to get to this point? No they don't. They don't care. They don't want to know because then it is easier for them all to sit back and judge without feeling some sort of guilt in the process. I am the messiah. I didn't volunteer for this. I was chosen. I was told there was no other way.
 
Is there another way?
 
No. I am the only way and I know that. This isn't a fork in the road for them or me. This is a clear path. You move forward or you continue to move backwards until you are no longer in the equation. Have I not made that clear to them? My methods have not be the most well received but I think I have cultivated an audience. Maybe I need to show them instead of tell them. Maybe they need to know the pain they may face without me.

My voice echoes from wall to wall, despite the hundred or so reporters sitting directly in front of me. Despite the shuffling of their papers and the snaps of their cameras, I am surrounded by silence. The microphone directly in front of me gives me a power that not many people get to experience...I am the center of attention. After an 8-2 ass whooping of the Toronto Legion, I should be. I contributed five points to the win. I've been told that's a lot.
 
"If I haven't made it very clear with the past few weeks of interviews I have given, I apologize. From where I am sitting, it looks like I have done a thorough job of describing my life style change to all of you and why I have decided to come back to the VHL to spread the word. Yet all of you sit there with open eyes but closed ears. You can hear me, but are you really hearing me."
 
Fools. Their souls stand at the edge of a cliff, ready to jump at any moment and all they care about is their own damn jobs. 
 
" With each point that I was able to produce on that ice tonight, I could see thousands of people opening their arms to me. Did your fancy little cameras catch it? It's not going to be on the front page of the papers or on the highlight reel for ESPN, but I promise you it happened. People are starting to listen to me out there. They don't watch from afar like the majority of you do in this room. You're nothing but sheep. They've decided to open their hearts to me because I am good at hockey. Little do they know it, but they are allowing me to save them from their own little personal hell when they do so. I don't care to talk about the game, I care about making it known that I am finally making a difference on this world. I can feel my followers growing with each and every day passing, yet when I command for open arms none of you take me seriously."
 
The media can judge, but they are the ones that need saving the most. They walk the path of the fragile and the uninformed. When no story presents itself, they make one out of nothing. They decide to turn a small detail into a large scandal, allowing themselves to reap the benefits of the increased attention. They seek attention likes the whores of old did. They need me the most.

The Quebec City Meute are playing some damn good hockey at this point in the season. With only three total losses (two of them coming in overtime), Quebec is starting to hit their stride and many are hoping that this leads to a potential cup appearance and win this season. While still relatively early in the season, Titan Kronos has made his presence felt with one of the best statistical starts of his career. The former number one overall pick has turned heads with his words and approach to the game this season, but those in Quebec City don't give a damn what he talks about as long as he keeps helping them win games. Kronos knows that this is their mindset. 
 
 
Kronos and his new found vision has seemed to stir quite a bit of controversy in the religious viewers of the VHL.
 
 
As Kronos would go on, the pupils of his eyes slowly lose their color. His eyes would appear to be nothing more than white....empty. 
 
 
 

The rumors started just days before the start of the VHL season and raised a couple of eyebrows in the process. Titan Kronos publicly appeared for the first time since playing in the VHL and many believed this was the start of his journey back to the ice. Turns out those rumors were correct as Kronos signed a multi-year deal with the Quebec City Meute just days after appearing. The Meute were the first team to draft Kronos due to an error of his draft eligibility. Being picked in the second round despite not wanting to enter the draft, the VHL gave the Meute the opportunity to keep Kronos but forfeit their first round pick for the next season in the process. The Meute declined, opting to release the rights of the young defenseman. Turns out that was a horrible move as Kronos went on to be the first overall pick of the next season's VHL draft. Despite decreased practice time, Kronos was apart of the culture change in Riga that helped the team capture their first cup win in a very long time. When asked why he chose to sign with the rather than someone else, Kronos responded with a short answer.
