TPE, or Total Points Earned, is essentially the virtual currency used in this league to upgrade your players. You can earn TPE by completing Point Tasks, each of which are worth a specific amount. I'll break those down soon. In addition, it's important to remember that there are capped, and uncapped TPE. Tasks that fall under "capped" TPE can only be completed a certain amount of times per week. This is to avoid someone with a lot more spare time or resources from having a significant advantage over someone with less time or resources. The VHL aims to set equal ground for everyone, which is why it can be extremely easy for you to become a star player, just by taking the time to read this guide and complete Point Tasks in an efficient manner! Weekly Point Tasks - Capped (Can't exceed 12 total) Point Tasks - Only ONE of these can be done per week - Makes up 6 out of 12 capped TPE each week. Media Spot - an article of at least 500 words about anything league related. Graphic - Any VHL related graphic with some decent effort put in. Podcast - A podcast at least 15 minutes long about anything VHL related. Welfare - If you're running short on time in a week, just claim welfare! It's a free 4 capped TPE, and replaces your regular point task which is otherwise worth 6 capped TPE. This means your weekly capped drops to 10 max per week! Mini-PT's - These make up the last 6 of your 12 capped TPE in a week! Press Conferences - These are super simple to complete each week. All you have to do is answer 6 questions for 2 TPE, or 3 questions for 1 TPE. The questions are always provided by the GM or the AGM, so have fun answering them! Get into character if you'd like! Trivia - Answer two questions for 1 TPE each. No answer sharing, but you can get help from friends/teammates/GMs on where to find the answer. VHL.com Article - Write a 150 word article about anything league related! VHL.com Graphic - Create a simple graphic that's league related. VHL.com Podcast - Record a short podcast for 3 TPE! Affiliate VHL.com Replacement - Part of one of the leagues listed in section 10.2 here (SBA, SSL, PBE)? If you complete a specific weekly PT for 3 TPE there, you can replace a vhl.com here and get 2 TPE! Reviewing - Review other people's Media Spots, Graphics, or Podcasts for 1 TPE each, for 2 TPE max per week! Jobs - There are various jobs you can hold in the VHL, almost all of which pay out TPE. Keep an eye on that subforum for new job postings! *Note on the VHL.com tasks. You may only complete two types of VHL.com tasks per week, and they must be different. For example, you can complete a graphic and an article, but not two articles. Uncapped Opportunities - Does not count against your cap of 12 a week Practice Facility - On the Portal, a free 1/2 uncapped TPE each week just for clicking a button! (If you are in the VHLM or VHLE, you get 2 a week. VHLers get 1 a week.) Career Point Tasks - Can be done at various stages in your career, and DO NOT count against your cap of 12 each week! If you're brand new, you can write your Junior Review - a review of your player's career up to the point they joined the VHLM! It's usually 400 words for 5 uncapped TPE! Recruit a Friend - If you like the VHL, get friends to join! For each friend you recruit, you get uncapped TPE! The longer they stay and the more involved they get, the more TPE you get as well. VHL Fantasy Zone - This is a weekly opportunity for all members. Predict the winners of specific games each week, and try to guess the winner and score of one specific game. Win uncapped TPE if you guess correctly! VHFL - Seasonal fantasy VHL hockey. Draft a team of 3 forwards, 2 defensemen, and one goalie and compete to have the best fantasy team within your group. Win 6 TPE for winning your group, but even if you come in last, you still get 1 TPE! Super Coach - Seasonal DFS style team building game, where you have a set budget to select a full team of VHL players. TPE gets paid out by end of season percentiles. Affiliate Check - If you're a member of the SBA, you can claim a weekly Quote completed in the SBA here in the VHL for 1 uncapped TPE per month! This is by no means the extent of uncapped opportunities. Keep an eye open, especially during the offseason, for various other opportunities such as Fantasy Hockey, Predictions, Training Camp and more! How to Claim TPE Now that you've completed point tasks, it's time to learn how to claim your tasks for TPE! First, go to the post you just made containing your task, and look in the top right corner. You'll see a "Share" link that creates a pop-up where you can copy a direct link to your post. Make sure to copy this! Next, head to the portal, which is where you create and update your player. Click here to get to your player management page. Once there, click on the appropriate button on the side: "Claim Capped" or "Claim Uncapped." Then, select the appropriate category and "Type" of Point Task and fill in the fields. If you have any questions on what the categories are, don't hesitate to reach out to team management. You're all done! Make sure you put in the right date, the right link, and the right amount of TPE, and updaters will approve it as soon as possible! 1. God the Penguins are dogshit. Just at allowing odd man rushes and on the PP though. Almost everything else is actually pretty ok. 2. Well I can't spill secrets, but there are some great users and familiar faces at the top of the class. We'll definitely get a great player no matter what! 3. My season down in Stockholm wasn't the best to start, but it's definitely improved over the course of the season and now we're trying to lock in a playoff spot. So I'm happy with that progress. 4. Well it's off time for players, but the busiest time of the season for a GM/commish. Will have lots of things going on, coupled with the holidays and my move. 5. An award would be nice. But I'd much rather see the team and players get some hardware in the next couple seasons! Looking like Gunner is on a great path to win at least one award this season, probably two with the all-rookie and RotY nod. Fingers crossed! 6. You know, the easy answer is Bring me the Horizon. But I might say Sleep Token since there's a lot of their older music that I haven't gotten into yet that I can still explore.

1. Absolutely. We hosted for 3 back to back nights so there was so much eating and leftovers for the week afterwards. 2. Considering I just signed the lease for a new apartment, I bought a LOT of new apartment stuff on black friday! New mattress, frame, various accessories and furniture things. House was getting piled up with shipping boxes! 3. I think that the development is still going well. I love the growth I'm seeing from the team and think with the introduction of our S91 draftees, we'll have a very scary roster in the upcoming seasons. Losing is just part of the process. 4. I think Riga doing as well as they have was a surprise, maybe also Chicago 3rd in the NA after a very hot start. 5. I'm pretty happy actually, Syko wasn't playing well at all to start the season but has really found his form as of late and is one of the top goalies in the E now. I don't think he wins any awards, but just to be a solid goalie is pretty promising. 6. Black because if you're not a Max Verstappen fan, you're in permanent depression.

Yes this is that tiktok song that's been going viral for the absurd dance. Been exploring a lot more Japanese music recently, even a little bit outside the rock/metalcore areas you'd expect from me. Very curious to see what my Spotify Wrapped describes my year as when it releases anytime this week! Also very curious about the future of Moscow. I've had a fairly passive approach with the team in recent weeks, specifically because of work/vacation traveling, and then coming back and immediately going into apartment hunt mode. I'm happy to say that we've closed on an apartment and will be moving in within a couple weeks! So that's exciting, especially since I'll be in a very busy area and there's a lot going on. And I can podcast again without interruptions! I know everyone is thrilled for that. But for Moscow's players, I think they're a fantastic group that can continue developing without needing to be handheld much, if at all. Everyone is proactive on getting their tasks done which is truly spoiling me, and most folks even know how their build will grow over time and don't need my assistance. It's really nice to see Axle Gunner leading rookies while on a PPG tear. While our other rookies aren't quite on that pace, I'm still very excited about their production now at such low TPE/TPA numbers, and think next season will be a great step forward. We're also marching closer to bringing up our insanely talented trio from the S91 draft as well, which just boggles my mind that we still have so much talent left in our pipeline despite playing 4 rookies this season in Gunner, Ruutu, Rashford and OSCB. With the two Reingaard's and Syko coming up, we'll be pretty close to if not already at a full roster - and we still have the potential to call up Celise Pereira if we feel like she's ready to come up instead of IA swapping Nils Andersson to D and letting her simmer in the E for another season. Within two seasons though, we're pretty much going to have a lineup as follows: Lewis - Gunner - T. Reingaard Alone - Ruutu - Rashford OCSB - Queefson L. Reingaard - Pereira Syko Reed Of the 12 players, 8 are pretty much max earners. Others like Rashford and Queefson put in the effort for more than just welfare too. Very excited about the potential this team has, and we'll even have 3oa at worst (at this rate per standings) in this draft class for another extremely talented player. Surely I'm not rebuilding because I want to fuck around with the salary cap right.....? Definitely not
