The Ottawa Lynx have probably the greatest chance in recent memory to do something significant in the VHLM, winning back to back cups. The last guys to do it were Bratislava, way back when they were still part of the VHLM in season 47 and season 48. That’s over five years in the real world, more than a third of the league’s history. Ottawa has a very good roster heading into the draft; currently possessing six forwards between 118 and 197 TPE. Four of them are above 160. They also have two current defensemen on the roster, a 177 TPE player and a 197 TPE player. The Lynx do not currently have a goalie, so they will have to pick one up in the draft. Finding a goalie should not be an issue however, as Ottawa has six picks in the first two rounds in the upcoming draft. Their own 1st and 2nd, as well as 1sts from Philadelphia and Mexico, and 2nds from Mexico and San Diego. Ottawa will be a force to be reckoned with once again in S80.

Very respectable 500 words. I think you have turned word padding into an art form with this series to be honest, it never fails to impress me. I agree with your argument in the last paragraph about how goalies seem to work, that position is black magic. There's too many new GMs to be honest, I hope VHL doesn't become like the M with the revolving doors for management positions. Hopefully the Stars are able to fill the holes that you currently have 10/10

Hello. I like the phone call scenario that you came up with, really breathes life into your player. Not a fan of the color of the font, though it is very visible in both light and dark theme so maybe that's what you were going for. Good luck in the World Cup. Considering Western Europe has VHLM players, I think they are huge underdogs. Would be really special if you guys ended up getting a medal. Also, how is Tadhg pronounced anyway? 9/10

The VHLM had enough players, the problem was how they were dispersed. The top teams had full rosters and the bottom teams were nearly empty. If they were evenly distributed every team probably would've been around 6-4-1.

I remember joining you in the Junior Showcase because I wanted to sign with the newest member due to knowing how it feels to be a first time GM. (I was AD in the EFL and most of the recreates would only sign with people they knew well already). You've impressed me greatly, I don't think I've ever seen someone climb the ranks as much as you have in such a short period of time. I also don't think I've been as close to another VHL member since maybe Doom, dasboot or Muff. The title also gave me a heart attack since I thought you were going away for a while or something lmao.

Houston is preparing for the draft with GM Moon even being invited to be on the draft stream. Houston seems to be making a strong push for contention next season. The current roster following the release of all draft eligible and capped players puts the current roster at 7 forwards, 3 defense and 1 goalie which is going to be much better than most teams can claim. In terms of the S81 draft, they also have a pretty good selection of draft picks. Houston possesses their own first rounder, as well as third round picks from Minnesota, Philadelphia, San Diego, and their own pick. They also claim two fourth rounders, two sixth rounders and a seventh so there's potential to maybe grab a few gems in the later rounds. This is projected to be a very strong class after all, as it contains many of the recreates from the powerful S73 class.

I like how you gave such a detailed analysis of every game in the series, really paints a clear picture of how it went down. Didn't know that the series was 3-1 at one point because I don't really follow the E due to my player being in the M. Funny to see Vasteras win the VHLE's inaugural season after being the ones to do so in the original VHL. Now we will see if they return to their previous form and become extremely mediocre for the next 30 seasons. Rating 9.6/10 to one up the last guy.
