I was aware that Moon wanted out of Houston for a few days before the actual trade went down. He requested a trade and on October 18th, the trade was finalized and we sent Godlander to Minnesota in exchange for cube whale and Minnesota’s S82 2nd round pick. James glove dropper was pretty good friends with him and when he saw the trade, he also requested to be sent to Minnesota. In exchange for Glove dropper, we received Oskar Kiprusoff, Minnesota’s S81 3rd and their S82 5th. It was at this point that I came to terms with the fact we were no longer competing, as both players acquired in the trade were projects for next season. We lost two thirds of our leadership group and two leading scorers. I didn’t think it would get much worse.

While Mississauga may be bad this season, with the way that the VHLM seems to operate I wager they will be a playoff next season. The season after that they will contend, and then in another season they will rebuild again. The cycle continues and so on. Nice to see someone write an article about a team that isn't their own, I'm guilty of that a lot. 9/10

I like your idea for your media spot, very in depth analysis of how each team is performing so far in comparison to how we all thought they would. The biggest surprise for me is Riga, though I guess that's what happens when you don't really have a goalie. You wrote a pretty good article in terms of spelling. The confusion between parity and parody was a grammar error but it was also funny so 10/10.

It's not a typo, it's a homophone. Two words with the same pronunciation but mean different things.

It's really telling how many members have been lost over the years. I don't even know who some of these people are. There are others who I recognize but only because they made the hof.

The NA is going to be in absolute shambles next season then.

Are there any obvious ways in which I can increase engagement amongst our team? Best way to improve engagement is have an active locker room. 4. To be honest I think I won't go that high. Could be proved wrong though. If my first draft class (S72) taught me anything is that some GMs are more likely to gamble on a welfare recreate than a first gen. There were like 4 picks in the early-middle first round that really shouldn't have went that high.

D Tier: Calix Pearce. Looks like Laine and N0HBDY are making some kind of trio with Spartan? I’m basing this off the fact that they all have the same last name and originate from Greece. Too big of a coincidence I’d say. Calix is in D Tier because it sounds like one of those Gen Z names that parents give their kids to be “unique”. C Tier: Cole Pearce. I put Cole Pearce here because I don’t like the last name; it reminds me of this kid that I used to go to school with. Cole is a slightly less bad name than Calix so he escapes D tier. B Tier: Tavish Degroot. It appears rory went for a Team Fortress 2 themed name. I am putting him in B tier because it’s kind of an obscure reference. (I had to google it). I don’t think many of the younger people in VHL have played TF2, myself included. S Tier: Wumbo. Flyersfan returns to form with another SpongeBob themed player name. Previously Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen, which is an even more legendary player name. He is doing God’s work and bringing the study of Wumbology to the VHL.
