I was thinking along the lines of people just doing good things throughout the year or just helping foster a good mental environment actually. But it would be pretty hard to track which would be my concern.
it feels weird to incentive being a good person or community member when it's already rewarding in and of itself

I actually like this idea. You should flesh it out further, maybe look into the mechanics of a system for confirmation of sorts for this and then present it.
i feel like this is why folks enjoy holidays around the vhl, no? not many people are like "man i HATE when we do the auction and raising thousands of dollars for charity is the WORST"

sorry this is not the beginning of my villain arc but it is also not the peak or the end. it is somewhere in between, just for everyone taking notes at home!

I am a fan of The Trevor Project but they are only in the US. Unsure if there is a Canadian equivalent, but supporting and protecting LGB+++ youth is critical, and only going to be needed more, unfortunately, judging by political trends.
Outright International is an org that partners with local groups around the world to help advocate for queer youth and adults from fighting against conversion therapy to working with government groups. They don't accept PayPal, but seems like a wider impact (geographically) if you're wanting to support queer folks!

we won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ronan Lavelle finished the season with 358 hits, so @Arce got to choose where this donation went. He chose The Kids Cancer Foundation:
The Kids Cancer Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) foundation, established in 2001 by a group of doctors, nurses, parents and community leaders. Our mission is to provide hope and support to children and families battling cancer and/or blood disorders in our community. We work collaboratively with the medical team and we are able to coordinate local, state and national resources with our services to ensure the needs of our children and families are met.
Because the Dragons won this season, I rounded the total to $30. Thanks for the selection, Arce, and way to go Dragons!!!
I'm skipping this for next season since we'll (hopefully) be running the holiday charity drive!

I never post anything. I kept to myself. but after the past week on mod bans has proven to me this is a clique. If your feelings get hurt, you get a ban. Mods here are out of control. Even the people in charge here are ruining the site. No wonder why you can't get new people to join and stay active. I'm sorry I'm no longer interested in this site.
