Honestly I think we'll get back up to 10 first and then battle lines in the discussion will be drawn to see if people are willing to ave larger teams or if we just want more. I don't want to see expansion at an un-sustainable rate because contracting teams sucked and was a pain in the pass that I would like to avoid. However if the will of the league is to continue on our way as a 6-3-1 type of league than it doesn't make a lot of sense to force people into roles they don't want instead of just expanding further if we have the members. It's a future discussion but the point is that I wouldn't expect to see the league stay at 9 teams for long. -

In the first 5 seasons we have indexes for (20-24) a shutout streak was achieved 11 times. Of those 11, 7 were different goalies (Shaw had the most with 3 )and all of them were streaks of 2. So far in my search no one has passed 2 straight.

yeah it's annoying that we didn't save them. But I think was just a case of us switching hosts in S18 (so we have that and S19) and then finally getting our own site for S20. But for your purposes, I don't think there would have been a long shutout streak in the first 17 seasons, way more offensive back then. Maybe from someone like Laframboise but feel like that would be better known.

Maybe someone else can think of an easier way to handle this. I’m trying to figure out the record for consecutive shutouts (I believe I own with with Holik but have no confirmation). What would you think the easiest way to figure that out would be? I’m thinking just go through the old schedules and search for 0 then mark down how many in a row a team gets. Shouldn’t happen consecutively that often and I can exclude any season where goalies were all under what’s i have in total, not that it should happen much.
