Yes to both. Replace Leadership with Offensive Defenseman and replace Sportsmanlike with Lowest GAA. That's my opinion on the matter anyway.

I remembered that and edited it. Wingate could be an option maybe, or one of the older goalies. I would say if we want to keep the same amount of awards then it would be nice to have top defenseman split (plus it makes the voting more fair) and bring in a lowest GAA award. Forwards have at least 5 awards that they can get and goalies can't (6 if you count leadership since goalies are rarely allowed to be official captains) and yet goalies only have 1. Plus 3 of the player awards (goals, assists, points) can't be disputed so it would be nice to give goalies the same treatment in at least 1 category. #Beke4BOG @Phil haha

Top Leader and Most Sportsmanlike, IMO, both shouldn't exist. There's barely any tangible way to actually award them and a lot of times it just ends up being a crapshoot based on basically nothing. Without being present in the locker rooms it's impossible to tell who's being a good leader (and a lot of times it isn't even one of the captains) so that one is near impossible to vote for. Meanwhile sportsmanlike is just masssively I'll-defined and usually just goes to someone with pretty low PIM which seems like a pretty boring thing to reward someone for. I think it would be far more interesting to have something like the Jennings trophy (fewest goals against) since goalies only have 1 possible award right now (MVP awards aside obviously but it's still way less than players have). We could also have it as lowest GAA which isn't consistent with the NHL but it would result in the same player for our purposes (since all goalies play the same amount basically). Not sure who to name it after (With shaw and Kanou already) but still. I'd rather see that brought in and have the above 2 retired.

I feel like most players in their 8th season are at a point where they've saved up a bunch of money. This sounds more like you don't have a lot of money leftover and don't like the options available rather than the options don't exist.

Was hoping I'd at least be able to take more votes for top goalie (though I knew I certainly lost when the slobo voting opened) but oh well, I've gotten used to losing it haha. Congrats everyone that took home some hardware. @STZ joins the club of people to win more awards in 1 season than I have in all my years combined.

This. I can't bank TC and I don't want to use it until after depreciation but that won't really work if you wait for the season to start.

Had a great time in Bratislava but the VHLM moves quick and it was time to move on. I'm excited to see what I can do with Brampton; hopefully bringing home my third cup, in three seasons, for three different teams.

Yes, keep praising me, ignore that I post these as unlisted so only the VHL will see them haha. Feel free to share them in any recruitment stuff you want but my (very few) normal subs would be very confused by what the fuck I'm talking about here so I choose to make these unlisted so You need a link to watch. Still, I enjoy the praise, maybe in the future I could make some kind of series in the same format that's more recruitment friendly and less things people won't understand.

Regular; specifically the White one that launched with Destiny. I've only ever had white controllers (until this scuf) to match it so maybe it's just a defect with the black ones haha. Whenever my PS4 does die (hopefully not soon) I will have to upgrade to a pro because I need the optical Audio for my headset and Surround Sound but oh well, hopefully that's a way in the future.

I do mostly BS my way through these, especially with the "defence wins" thing haha. Not only was I frustrated because of the paddle at that point but I'm generally very distracted. Doing podcasts with CoD makes them more fun but is definitely not ideal for train of thought haha. You are definitely right that you can win with a lesser goalie, you obviously proved that last season, and your forward group is basically untouchable. We're probably second in forward TPE and you still have us best by over 700. Mins you out defense and goalie have a lot more as well so it should be interesting to see how things play out. You proved me wrong once, let's see if you can do it again haha. As far as controller conversation goes: my regular ones are holding up relatively fine. The L2 button sticks sometimes on both of them which makes me constantly aim when I intend to stop which is annoying. I haven't had stick problems though.

Its a PS4 version but It's a scuf so it costs more is the problem since its custom made to have the paddles. Even a regular PS4 controller with tax is running $90 and up though which is insane.

I never said you wouldn't compete this season did I? In fact I believe I listed you as one of the 4 that should be competing. I do think the rookie goalie is a gamble but you guys definitely have a lot of forward star power. I bought it off kijiji so it's local but still used. He claims that it was fine before but he's obviously not going to tell me it was busted. There's definitely tiny cracks being held together by the bolts so I do wonder if it was just a matter of time. I think my pressure was a tad high since I'm not used to it yet which, combined with the cracks, caused it to break. I ordered some new paddles that should work better, at least I hope. I was saving $70 vs. Buying new and now that's down to $50 so I'm not pleased.

We're back with my discussion of random topics. IN this episode we talk about Lack of Competition this season, what the hell NY is doing with their goalie situation, and how I got drafted so early.
