  1. For the record, I was totally waiting for your S39 version until you skipped it last season
  2. We gave up 6 PP and you had 9 shots more than us. Keep trying, your excuses don’t add up.
  3. The being lazy part was probably not fair, I’ll apologize for that. As far as fair reasons or not, the way I look at it, they had plenty of time. We can’t delay the season because they haven’t gotten it done, regardless of their reasons. There are other people on both teams, if they couldn’t get it done I’m sure they could have asked someone else to do it. At the very least they could just PM draper lines to input for them which is better than nothing.
  4. Vikings can’t stop me! If we include the pre-season game that’s 6 goals for me against them.
  5. That’s how to start a season! Good job guys. GG Riga
  6. As much as I love my two current sigs, they don’t match anymore. I could get away with them in Toronto but they just don’t fit with Calgary so I think it’s time for an update. I would love to be able to make some myself but I barely have time to be on the computer anymore so I can’t do it. Would some kind VHL folk like to help me out? Best 2 get worn and others get many thanks and you can use them as a PT haha.
  7. A short two seasons ago if you had asked Jackson Miller where he would be playing, he surely would have said that it would still be Helsinki. Drafted by the Titans in Season 39, Miller expected to stay with the team the entire length of his career. The VHL throws curveballs sometimes though. After being dealt to Toronto for one season Miller now finds himself in Calgary, looking to once again make a fresh start. “It’s definitely an adjustment, not an unwelcome one though. It was strange living in Europe for so many years so Toronto was a nice change but getting to Calgary is especially nice since I’m closer to my family in Vancouver. The team definitely has nice chemistry in the locker room and were very welcoming. At this point I’m just hoping that the season gets started soon and we can transfer that locker room chemistry to the ice." If pre-season was any indication, Miller should be able to help Calgary do exactly that. In 2 pre-season games for the team Miller had 5 goals, 4 of which came from an impressive showing against the Vikings who are a top favourite to take home the Continental Cup this season.
  8. If they can't be bothered to get lines in, they only have themselves to blame if they are stuck with auto-lines. No reason to delay the season (I mean really, the VHLM has already had a sim, that just shouldn't happen) because two teams (who won't really be competitive anyway) are being lazy.
  9. That link is a 404 do I guess your computer doesn't exist? Knowing Acer though, it's main problem is likely cheap parts as they are awful for that. More RAM doesn't usually hurt but I don't know how much Windows 8 likes to have. I've been out of the PC side for awhile so I'm a bit rusty in regards to it.
  10. Shutting down every once in awhile should clean the cache up which helps pretty considerably. Cleaning the harddrive up (on windows especially) doesn’t hurt either because the more full it is the slower it will run. In general though, what do you mean exactly when you say it’s slow? Do you mean sites load slow? Or programs open slow? Or the keyboard / trackpad responds slow? There’s a lot of different reasons depending on the kind of slow. Also, more details about the computer would help. What kind of processor, how much RAM, what you’re doing when it slows down, etc.
  11. What are the odds I can pull this off in the actual season?

  13. Well you make sexy sigs so I'm not HAPPY about blocking them, I just don't like my entire screen filled.
  14. And now I have officially added Boubabi to my ignore signature list. Thanks for letting me know that exists BTW Kendrick haha
  15. I measured only using the built in screen capture on mac. Who needs software My point was actually agreeing with you though. I was saying that it was 770px without even adding in the extra stuff that the board puts on everyone's.
  16. Sure but when I'm on a 1080 monitor and you're 1 line post takes up the entire screen we have a problem.
  17. My measurements are saying 770px on this one... Compared to around 375 on mine and 220ish on something like Kendrick's. That is a little bit extreme... P.S These numbers are accounting for only the sig line to to bottom of the lowest signature. Doesn't even count the 60 or so pixels that Brooks was counting for the quote buttons.
  18. I've always refused to put mine past 2 GFX and 1 line of text. Even then I find it gets kinda long depending on the size. Some people have definitely gone overboard with it. Yes, I'm looking at you Boubabi.
  19. It physically pains me to say it but, yeah, Wolf is the best option here.
  20. I forgot I even answered one, must have been the first one haha
  21. But I'm not apparently so I'll take one
  22. Beketov - Jackson Miller
  23. Now if only we could figure out the door to the locker room, a very odd locking system you appear to have on it.
