  1. 10/10, I love the graphic and think it has a lot going for it! The background blends really well with everything and the text stands out and can be read easily! For the sake of grading I guess I'd say I wish it was bigger? But otherwise I love everything about it!
  2. I just wanted to preface this article by saying this is all fake, I don't really care about playing time in the WJC, just needed a quick idea for a media article. Star rookie Jeffrenomitsu the 3rd was recently seen arguing with his WJC GMs in regards to his playing time. Despite the fact that he has been above a point per game pace, the rookie has barely seen the ice in his first handful of games in the tournament. He was recently ranked as the 11th best forward in the VHLM by user PatrikLaine after his playmaking and two-way ability on ice were noticed by the star Marauder, however his WJC GMs clearly feel otherwise as he has seen the ice for a grand total of 10:36 minutes a game, and to make matters worse, a significant chunk of that has taken place during the penalty kill which hasn't allowed the winger to showcase his well known playmaking and scoring ability just yet. As always, more to come as this situation will be an interesting one to monitor moving forward.

  4. Hey, love the decision to make graphics for the TPE overall I think you could've made the text bigger since there was a lot of blank space in this graphic. Cropping would've helped too as the left side feels rather empty. Hope to see more from you moving forward! 6/10
  5. Really like the sig but I feel like there's a lot of empty space that is not being put to good use. Maybe the addition of a team logo would help or maybe reducing the render's size and image height could help. Otherwise I like the helmet swap a lot and think it's pretty cool. 7/10
  6. Dope card! Looks really cool and I feel like it could pass off for the real thing! Simple but great card. 8/10
  7. Great sig, I love the creative thinking put into this graphic, only thing that could make it better was better lighting and maybe a jersey swap, also the black on the outside is a little hard to read. 8.5/10
  8. 7.5/10. First of all I really like the jersey swap and think it's well done! However some things that hold you back from a 10 would have to be the background which doesn't blend in with the 2 renders and help them pop out. I also think using a higher quality image next time could help. Looking forward to more graphics from you!
  9. 10/10 I'm not gonna lie I love this sig, but the only advice I'd have would be to add a vignette around your render and darken the background. I feel like it would help the render and text pop out that much more. But outside of that I really love your stuff! Keep it up!
  10. Jeffrenomitsu The Third is a unique player who has a very athletic background (Mostly in track and field) and brings a willingness to learn everywhere he goes. He may not have been given the same coaching that other top prospects may have received or even skated for as long as others have but there truly is something special to be found here despite the lack of flashiness. Despite his inability to knock the puck away from puckcarriers, Jeffrenomitsu The Third has still not shied away from contact defensively. He has a handful of hits to his name this VHLM season and plans to keep it up as the season progresses. Jeffrenomitsu has little to no experience when it comes to fighting other players and has never been seen or showcased in one before. His slimmer body would probably not fare well in fights but, once again, that's hypothetical. On the other hand, as a result of his lack of hockey knowledge, JT3 tends to be very undisciplined at times as he still tries to catch up to his peers in hockey knowledge and overall game feel. He can often be seen cross checking, tripping and going offsides. As mentioned earlier, JT3 has not been skating as long as his peers, especially given his background in which he comes from a country like Singapore that does not experience cold weather. Moving on, Jeffrenomitsu The Third is someone who is very skinny and underweight despite recent changes to his diet and workout routine. He lacks the same strength that most of his peers have and at times it negatively affects him in games. Despite all the weaknesses to his game, JT3 has some major strengths as well. Most notably is his ability to showcase excellent defensive reads and positioning. He is a very active defender and is really smart when it comes to making the right reads and sniffing out the oppositions plays before they can get executed. He's smart when it comes to deciding how to sacrifice his own body when his team needs it (Blocked shots and hits) and is a very reliable player for the Houston Bulls. Another aspect that Jeffrenomitsu shouldn't be slept on would be his ability to score. He has an uncanny ability to score from all over the rink, constantly creating headaches for the opposition. Package this with his ability to dangle around his opposition with increasing effectiveness and you have a real threat to score at any point in the game.
  11. I remember watching the historic Game 7 comeback where the Bruins came down from 4-1 to win in OT over the Maple Leafs when I was 13. What a time to be a non-Maple Leaf fan in Toronto ???
  12. Jeffrenomitsu The Third was born in south east asia, on a small island called Singapore. Now I know you guys are all wondering how the fuck I started playing hockey in a country thats pretty much always 30 degrees (Celsius, if you use fahrenheit I don't know you) and is approximately 50 kilometers wide. But I assure you it was only the beginning of his wild story. Jeffrenomitsu The Third is the son of Apollo Hackett, famed long time defenseman for the Riga Reign. His mother was an extremely talented gymnast who eventually had her career cut short due to injuries. Throughout his childhood, he would often be seen running around while training for track or playing soccer with his friends. However shortly after his 12th birthday, Jeffrenomitsu would discover some old tapes from his fathers past hockey games. Amazed and intrigued by the foreign sport he begged his parents to visit Canada, the land of hockey in order to eventually watch a game live. It was there that he would fall in love with the idea of becoming a hockey player in Canada. He saw all the outdoor rinks everywhere and the passion everyone all over the country had for the sport. Toronto and Mississauga never failed to sell tickets no matter the record and there were always people wearing hockey jerseys all over, always repping and supporting their favorite players. But above all, Jeffrenomitsu The Third absolutely fell in love with poutine. The thick gravy, the crispy fries and the greasy cheese curds absolutely sold him from day 1 and for someone who loved their food, Canada's national food did not disappoint. Eventually, Jeffrenomitsu would move to Canada just in time for his senior year of High School. Thankfully he was physically gifted with a 6 foot frame and his track history helped him become an instant impact player on the ice. His father, Apollo Hackett had also helped get him upto speed on the game of hockey by getting him to review classic VHL and VHLM games and also helped him become skilled with the stick by helping him develop his shot and puckhandling skill. All of this had paid dividends immediately as he quickly took his local hockey league by storm. Right off the bat he immediately led his team, the Oakville Geckos to a championship with an incredible 90 points in 60 games, where he showed a nose for the goal with 50 goals.
  13. Review: Hey there, slick graphic! I really like the sig and the jersey swap is really clean! Overall I really thought the sig was well done but felt like the text was lacking. Maybe adding a drop shadow to the text or adding a stroke to it in the future might help! 8.5/10
  14. Review: Hey there, I really like the lighting effects done on the render here, that and the added drop shadow effect really helps the render stand out. I really like the text and how well it goes with the renders color scheme. Overall I think it's a great graphic but I believe the background could have been better to help the render pop out even more. Next time a vignette could really help. 8/10
  15. What first made you love hockey and want to play for the VHL? I enjoyed spending time with some of the players from the VHL and eventually figured it'd be even more fun to join the league What do you do when you do not play hockey? I play football or basketball as well in leagues similar to this one (EFL, SBA) What is something your team does not know about you and your playing ability? I'm a very hardworking guy and sometimes get way too competitive for my own good Who do you look up to in your locker-room? VHL as a whole? Renomitsu is a great user who's super smart and super awesome and with a big player under his belt it's hard not to look upto him tbh What goals do you have in the VHL? If you could be know for one thing in the VHL what would it be? I would like to win a personal award and a championship before I hang up the skates but I understand that things happen and that there's a good chance that may never happen. If I could do one thing in the VHL it would be being an important player on a championship team. How do you see yourself in 3 seasons? In a draft class like this one I don't see myself going early, however I plan on surprising the public and proving my doubters wrong and that's what I see myself doing in 3 seasons
