1OA is all I'm hearing

It has been nearly a week now since I officially took over as GM of the London United. The team looks very different than it did last season, and with more time for GMs to ogle my players I’m sure it will continue to change a bit more before the season starts. I had a few priorities coming in, and for the most part I think I’ve checked them off my list. First, I wanted to establish an environment where my players, prospects, alumni and friends could just come and chat about anything. Pairing that with wanting to bring in some big names that fit within our championship window, Dom and Cole bring lots of activity, expertise and good vibes, alongside their dangerous players. Next, I wanted to establish a strong drive to earn and grow. The core of our team is among the top earners, and content producers in the league. It is time for London to be at the forefront of people’s minds, and for positive reasons instead of being mid. Having Triller full-time now immediately changes the branding of the team, with access to world-class graphics. Finally, I want to make London a destination that new players aspire to join. My work with the Marlins, and the JST have begun that process, but I hope to continue to be an ambassador for our lovely newcomers and ingrain our vision in their heads from the start. Just a reminder for everyone, and you’ll hear this a lot, but… United Forever!

First off, thank you @Banackock for being outright with your intentions and working through trading a player in the VHL for the first time. Glad we could work through the kinks together and I wish you nothing but luck in Davos! @badcolethetitan , so excited to have you in the fold and lets get this ship moving in the right direction! Thank you @Alex for working through this process with me as well!

1) I think he brought a lot of energy and excitement back to the team. It had been stagnant for a while, and whether or not it worked, it was certainly exciting. 2) Patience. It can be really easy to watch something not work once and blow it all up. Sticking to a vision is something that separates a good GM and a great one. 3) I don't love trading anyone, so hopefully the least amount possible. But of course progress needs to be made! 4) I want to make London a place for conversation, and to expand our network to bring attention to the team. 5) I'm not sure I'm allowed to contribute to this. 6) I hope so, but there is a lot of work left to be done! Excited to see what we can do though in such a tight EU conference!

1. I'm quite happy with it! Glad we took OTT to 7, we proved we belonged! 2. I think MEX has the edge, but OTT could shut them out. 3. Planning about 47 drafts, and cheering for the Brigade! 4. Just finished up the JST Draft, Brigade are looking great! 5. Winning the Cup but after that, not a whole lot! Just continuing to prepare for being old! 6. Thumb under the end, crust in between my thumb and pointer.
