For the season predictions, pretty much everyone outside of a few Davos fanboys chose Calgary as their cup champions. This was largely due to their big free agency acquisitions of Bismarck Koenig and Jake Born to be Wylde.
However, things have not gone as planned, as New York currently sits in first place in the NA Conference, with Cal Gary sitting in 2nd. Cal Gary started off the season well enough, but has really struggled over the past 20 games or so. Part of it is Wingate, and part of it is just lack of line chemistry. The team does have 5 forwards and 4 dmen, so depth shouldn't really be a problem. We also just traded for half of a player in that scrub we got to give us 5 and a half men.
Kudos to New York though, as they have assembled a pretty good squad and just got some good rentals in a deal. I am worried that they will beat us. This feels kind of like last season where everyone picked Quebec and Calgary won, except this time we are quebec. However, what makes me less woried is the fact that I am not Fesler :3
