Malmo, Sweden - Another VHL season, another Malmo Nighthawks playoff run. Currently the Victory Cup winning team is tied 1-1 with the well rounded Warsaw Predators, as they face off in a gruelling conference final. We caught up with defenseman Tui Sova, who is now in his second VHL season, and second playoff run with the Nighthawks. VHL.com: So it’s your second run with the big club, and your team absolutely crushed it in the regular season, how has this playoff run been for you so far? Sova: It’s been quite a ride so far, we know we can’t base too much off of what happens during the regular season as teams always emerge and find that extra gear coming into the playoffs. We’ve been dealing well with adversity, and hope to continue. VHL.com: In your last 2 games against the Predators, your goalie Artem Tretiak got absolutely shelled. How do you guys plan to reduce the number of shots against during the rest of the series? Sova: Yeah this is not something our coach was happy about at all. We have to be tighter down low and get some bodies in front pucks. I think we ran away with the regular season and kinda forgot how to play with grit, but it’s the playoffs now so we have to wake up. VHL.com: You just put up your first pair of points in the playoffs this year with a goal and assist in the first game VS Warsaw, not quite the point pace you displayed in last years run.. any feelings of discouragement in your play right now? Sova: Nah not really, as long as I’m still helping the team win it doesn’t matter if I produce. We have a very strong team up front this year so I’ve been a little more focused on the defensive side. Cool piece from a GM standpoint providing updates on former players, clearly trading them all away and hitting the reset button in Toronto was not an easy choice, and you still wish the guys well on new teams. Would have liked to see some colours and pics included here, but you went all out with the word count so there is no lack of effort. Overall rating 9.5/10

Great interview summarizing your feelings towards the early out. Reading this made me actually feel bad for a Wranglers player lol. Nice use of red and whites to keep the colors team themed, and excellent photo choice of a player looking dejected, which is definitely the sentiment I perceived while reading this. Overall 9.5/10

Excellent media spot, being on the team and having hardly any prior knowledge of Malmo's history it was nice to read this and learn a bit about the teams short past. Clearly you put some time into this researching past award winners, formatting, and tagging everyone. Insightful stuff! Hopefully one day Deathwalker and Sova will be on the list . Overall rating 10/10.

Very cool sig brother, love the blues used and the cuts are clean. Would like to see some more layering/blending and the text moved down a bit. You have the fundamentals down just need to practice more on incorporating each element into looking like a complete image rather than identifiable layers. Overall 7/10

Nice one, great use of effects here. I think the background, placement and blending are the highlights here. The JC is a little lazily done but glad to see you still did one, also the Elsby font could be a taddddd more legible. Overall 9/10

Big fan of this one so I had to come back and review it. Double render executed nicely, great sizing and proportions. Font works super well and the stroke effects look awesome. I like the grungy border and brushing, and how you took the time to include silhouettes of each trophy he's won as well. Sick shit! 10/10
