  1. I like the whole lottery aspect that the NBA has, but I feel like if you have the worse team in the league, you should get the first pick. In sports there really isn't a way to tank, because if you don't put fans in the seat, tanking or not, your gonna lose your job. And either way your gonna see teams tank because with the lottery, being the worst team doesn't guarantee you the first pick, but you do get the best chance at it and some teams are ok with that. Draft Wheel sounds stupid
  2. Don't worry brotha this just started today lol
  3. Content: 3/3- Its crazy to see where everyone went at the time now that we have seen how each of these players panned out in the VHL. I look forward to seeing what went on in the latter rounds. Grammar: 1/2- Dude, I don't know if you rushed this, but if not you really need to work on your grammar. I felt like I was reading a Robbie Zimmers MS at points in here. You went from past tense to present a few times and had alot of grammatical mistakes to go along with it. Take your time my brotha, it's not hard to get a 6 in media spots if you ace the grammar portion. where and after = where after guys after talking - guys talking have one = have had one must = much import = important Dispersal = disperal No need to capitalize Appearance: 1/1- No problems here Overall: 5/6

  5. Content: 3/3- As a former general manager in the VHLM, I would love to see you get a team. I believe you could do a fine job as a general manager and new members could look up to you as a person who definetly knows what they are doing, given your previous success throughout the league's history. Good luck on getting the job and you have my endorsement on the matter. Grammar: 2/2- Just these two punctuational errors but nothing to serious Daisuke Kanou who = Daisuke Kanou, who history and = history, and Appearance: 1/1- I always saw Fong as more of a Bruce Lee kinda Asian Overall: 6/6
  6. Content: 3/3- A nice continuation of the story of Olsen's dissapearance. I for one am really starting to enjoy these. It was very well written and I like how you included some of the lesser known busts of the VHL in the story. Captian Bacon for the win! Grammar: 2/2- Didn't catch a single mistake, well done Appearance: 1/1- Yup Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  7. Content: 3/3- Though you really don't have a choice who will take over the Minot Gladiators, its good to see you have an opinion on who would be the best fit for the team. WIth the exception of 701, being he is inactive, these are bad choices and I would love to see one of them work there magic at the general manager position. Grammar: 2/2- Not to bad per se, but you did have a couple errors, not enough to bump off any points for though. Legions - Legion have all have - have all had RW & GM - right wing & general manager (spell them out brotha not only does it look better but in both instances you get an extra word to the word count. The more you know!) Appearance: 1/1- It ain't easy being green Overall: 6/6
  8. Content: 3/3- I'm debating giving you a zero because I never got an invite and Disney Land is the most magical place on earth. Very well written and its nice to see you invited some of the other players from the teams you vs in the playoffs. Grammar: 2/2- Just a run on sentence or two but otherwise only found one mistake little more warmer = little warmer (sounds weird when you add more) Appearance: 1/1- Yessir Overall: 6/6

  12. A New Batch Of Franchise Goalies Hit The VHL It was best said by the VHL’s own king of the pipes, Remy LeBeau. In a league like the VHL, where offense triumph over all aspect of the game, teams are going to need great goaltending if they are going to win a Continental Cup. Just look at Skylar Rift for the Meute, Tuomas Tukio for the Titans, and Alexander Labatte for the Wranglers. As three of the elite goaltenders, these players have combined to win 4 of the last 7 Continental Cups (with Skylar Rift winning his second cup this season with Meute). Now yes you don’t need an elite netminder to win a championship. Just look at Riga’s unbelievable win over New York in S33. Jenovah, who was a journeyman in the VHL, just happened to catch fire at the right time and boom, Riga upsets the Americans to win the Continental Cup. So as you can see, having a strong goalie in net is one of the most crucial things if you want to become a successful team in the VHL. But with the likes of Tukio, Labatte, and Rift coming to the end of their careers, there has been a recent plethora of talent coming into the VHL, hoping to fill the shoes of these great netminders. In Seattle, Washington, fans are ecstatic for the future with Steven Smyl in-between the pipes. Smyl has lived up to his hype so far, posting up a solid rookie season after being selected third overall in the S34 VHL Entry Draft. Behind a below average Seattle Bears team, Smyl put up a .906 save %, a solid 2.64 goals against average, and managed to post 5 shutouts in his rookie season. Did I mention he faced the fourth most shots in the VHL? The future is looking bright for Smyl, as Seattle has been slowly progressing as a team, which should help take some pressure off of Smyl in S36. With a season under his belt, Smyl will look to finally help the Bears break out of the rebuild and into playoff contention next season. Like Seattle, you know Davos has to be drooling over Lennox Moher. Moher, who was selected first overall one season after Steven Smyl, had a solid season for the Dynamo and even helped Davos make it to the playoffs before being knocked out of the first round. In his rookie season in the VHL, Moher was also very solid, posting a .904 save %, a 2.68 goals against average, and added 4 shutouts to those stats. While he faced 50 less shots that Smyl, he had a good rookie season, seeing that he didn’t have an extra season in the VHLM. Like Seattle, Davos is on its way up the food chain in their respective conference, which should take a lot of weight off of Moher in his second season. There are high hopes for the young netminder out of Boston, Ma. Eggly Bagelface, an odd name, but another terrific young netminder for the Vasteras Iron Eagles. Brought in to the VHL by general manager Thomas Corcoran, Bagelface was looked upon to help lift Vasteras out of the dark basement of the European Conference and to return the team to its former glory. After being thrown to the wolves in S34, Bagelface had a solid bounce back season in S35. The young goalie put up a .909 save %, a 2.65 goals against average, and had six shutouts on the season while facing the third most shots in the VHL. I’m trying not to sound like a broken record, but Vasteras, like Seattle and Davos, will be looking to make the jump from middle of the pack to playoff contenders in the VHL, largely behind the play of these three goaltenders. The VHLM's logos look pretty similar on the ice don't they? Last but not least are three unproven, but highly touted netminders in the VHLM. Martin Brookside, Brick Wahl, and Mike Szatkowski Jr have been tearing up the VHLM in S35 and will surely all make the jump to the big leagues in S36. Like I said, all three are still unproven and untested, but all three figure to be franchise netminders for their respective clubs. Only time will tell which of these six young goalies can or will become the next LeBeau, Tukio, Rift or Labatte. But it should be interesting to follow them through their careers to see just how bright their futures can get.
  13. Yea same. Who are these scrubs Larsson and Grigorekno that beat me out? Congrats to all who made it, all well deserved!
  14. There ain't nothing in Seattle but dirty hoes and bottles of Jack Daniels. Ya know what scratch that Seattle is the place to be!
  15. Content: 3/3- A nice read and good interview with one of my old linemate from back in the day. Collier and the Express are definitely on the brink of success and I believe you guys will be there in no time. Keep putting up these PT's and Collier will do just fine in the VHL my friend! Grammar: 2/2- Only caught two more minor mistakes but otherwise nice job Individuals - individuals paper but = paper, but Appearance: 1/1- Looks very professional and you got a pic too. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  16. Content- 3/3: I'm really surprised that all of this happened in a mere 5 days after the VHL was created. Usually you would think they would wanna keep their place to get the best possible player in the draft, but in reality, there really wasn't any way of saying who was a clear cut above the rest. Nice media spot but stay away from the yellow text. Its a killer on the eyes Grammar- 1.25/2: There was way to many mistakes in such a short piece like this, due to the fact alot of the word count was the draft orders, trades, and quotes. You might really wanna be careful because alot of your mistakes were punctuation, which are easy to avoid. us any more but = us anymore, but infancy. = infancy? btoh- both VHL as now - VHL, as now later Media Spot you = later Media Spot, you Appearance- 1/1: God I wanna dock you on this for making my eyes bleed with all that yellow. But hey you used colors and made it look nice. Overall- 5.25/6
  17. Content: 3/3- Nice article on the building of a championship team. The Lynx came out of nowhere to become a powerhouse this past season in the VHLM. It's hard to create a championship team, but even harder to repeat so good luck with that. Good read btw Grammar: 2/2- I didn't catch any here Appearance: 1/1- Yes sir Overall: 6/6
  18. Content: 3/3- Congratulations on a great rookie season kid! I will be surprised if you don't win it because you had a hell of a season on a pretty strong Cologne team. But don't get to cocky brotha, the sim is a cruel mistress. But overall neat interview and keep up the work. Grammar: 1.75/2- Your spelling was great i didn't find a single error like Flyersfan. But you really gotta work on your punctuation and watch the run on sentences. Those will kill you in the long run and all you need to do is simply throw in a comma here and there. Just watch that in the future. All I wanted to do for this team was practice and play my heart out for them and in return all I asked was that my teammates supported me through it. = All I wanted to do for this team was practice, play my heart out for them and, in return, all I asked was that my teammates supported me through it. My main goal was to help this club win more games and for us to make the playoffs and hopefully a statement there. = My main goal was to help this club win more games, for us to make the playoffs, and hopefully a statement there. Appearance: 1/1- Color would have been nice and italicizing quotes like the reporters make it look a bit better, but I find no reason to bump you down a point my man Overall: 5.75/6 Final: 6/6

    COL/VAS ; S35 off-season

I for one thought it would be a fourth rounder.
  20. The Vasteras Curse is a whole other curse on its own. Cologne hasn't been in the league long enough in my opinion to be cursed. Helsinki just won a cup in S34. And though Calgary has the more recent Cup in comparision to Seattle, they had the best chance to get one more recently and it doesn't look like they will be in contention any time soon. So i'm gonna go with Calgary as of right now.
  21. Content: 3/3- 785 words. This was an intersting piece on your attempt to out do your success of S23, a storybook feat in itself. You have made Calgary a dangerous franchise over the last few seasons and i applaud you for that, though it sucks to see that you couldn't grab a championship with one of your three chances this season. I wish you the best of luck with the Wranglers in the future and your lucky you get to sit back and watch the Bears win a couple cups in the time being! Great job on this media spot. Grammar: 2/2- I couldn't find an error for the life of me. Appearance: 1/1- I feel like a broken record already but a little color wouldn't hurt here. But you got pictures and it looks pretty professional so full marks here. Overall: 6/6
  22. Content: 3/3- 809 words. This was not only very well written, but a riveting story on the mysterious disappearance of Karsten Olsen. It's great to have you back in the VHL, but most importantly, on the Seattle Bears. I can't wait to see how this all plays out for Olsen. Very well done. Grammar: 2/2- A couple minor miscues here but, with the length of the piece, not to shabby. but was Cal G - but with Cal G , the mean - the men He don’t know - He didn't know Appearance: 1/1- A good song and a smoking hot chick. Overall: 6/6
  23. Content: 3/3- 485 Words. A little short for my liking though the quotes made it a lot lengthier, but none the less, a pretty entertaining media spot on the most important question known to man. It's interesting to see who the member of the VHL would bring with them on a deserted island and the different, and very interesting, reasons behind there selections. Good job on this Grammar: 2/2- Only found this one so no need to deduct any points. the VHL - the VHL's Apperance: 1/1 - You have color and pictures, what more could you ask for? Overall: 6/6
  24. Content: 3/3- 519 Words. And to think I thought I was going to be the steal of the draft. You've done a great job since joining the league and have been a key piece to Davos' success this past season. This was a good read and I wish you the best of luck with Landry as he continues his career in the VHL. Grammar: 2/2- I only found one other minor mistake here. Just try and break up these sentences so they don't become run ons. Otherwise good job kid! the VHLM, in two seasons in the VHL he - the VHLM, in two seasons in the VHL, he Appearance: 1/1- I like the pictures, but would it kill you to throw in some color. Purple would do nicely here Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
