Review: This is a slick and clean banner. The detail that stands out the most are the logo swaps! Despite being subtle, having VHL branding in your graphic in areas like the collar of the jersey and shoulder patches really pull things together. Great job on the perspective of the VHL logo on the puck! Renders are also nicely cut out, simple but effective. One thing I did notice was that the puck was placed oddly in regards to composition, and may have worked better in the middle of the banner with the players on each side to balance things out. Overall, awesome job! 8/10

great write up! it was awesome to read all about your incredible rookie season in one place, the graphics are always a plus of course! (also thank you for making this look nice and readable on mobile as well, sometimes the tables can be an eyesore but that’s not the case here )

I really like this concept for a graphic and it's a bit different but still really cool, highlighting all of Landon Wolanin's player stats on the bottom where the HUT stats would normally be is a genius idea. When I first looked at it I thought it was a HUT card all together the logo is blending into the background so perfectly and it's all these small little details that make the graphic so cool. I would love it if you made one for my player Sjin with Crosby ;')

Another edition of Kirby Mini Rambles? Indeed! Because there’s quite a few things I wanted to go over in terms of how the offseason has been so far. First things first, thank you so much to my lovely GM Alex for trusting me to run this draft! He’s been super patient and kind with me throughout my first season as Davos AGM and I have learned A LOT since first being appointed last offseason!

Our picks were late but I definitely believe we managed to snatch up potential steals in Pierre-Luc Dutil and Jose Avocado. I have to admit, I was nervous the entire time, but managed to handle things just fine with Alex’s guidance, I think! We also picked up Grizz Tazzo in free agency.

In non-VHL related news, I may be joining my first full Dungeons and Dragons campaign in the next few months hopefully and I am excited. The nerd in me is ready to jump out. My friends and I also have a Palm Springs trip planned at the end of the month, so summer has been good to me so far! Hoping the draft, free agency, and these IRL things are a good sign for S89. Davos needs a cup!

first of all, thank you so much for the kind words about my graphic! love the format of the podcast as well. second of all, i think it’s so sweet that you’re married and finding a hobby to share with each other in the form of the vhl! overall super fun podcast, keep it up, subject and triller! 

Is there anything better than seeing your total TPE increase after each week of earning? I don’t think so. It’s so satisfying to see the work I put in pay off in the form of Lachlan’s stats getting better with each passing season. Which brings me to the main point of this mini ramble session: I’m quickly approaching another TPE milestone! 

After this VHL.com is approved, I will be at 890 TPE, and soon I’ll hit the mark of 900! Never did I imagine when I first joined the VHL that I would be at this point and honestly, I’m glad my efforts have been proven worth it. Then, once I reach 900, I’ll be that much closer to 1000 and my ideal build! As a first gen, that'll be a dream come true. 

It’s crazy to think I’ll be banking soon but then I’ll be more than ready to fight depreciation once it hits in my later seasons, especially if I keep up the rate of max earning and do some uncapped point tasks when they become available to me as well. Lachlan’s got three attributes at 99 and there’s still one more main one to go! Let’s do this.
