    S50 VHFL

For anyone who may be wondering how the salaries for the players are determined, it's magic. But really, it's based mostly on TPE, with adjustments made here and there based on player age and past performance.

    S50 VHFL

S50 VHFL Spreadsheet The Victory Hockey Fantasy League is back for S50! After a season with a disappointing number of participants, we're hoping to see more people submit a roster this season. The future of the VHFL could be at stake. Not much will be changing from last season, including a (probable) lack of in-season updates, unless people actually express interest in such. So anyway, here's some official stuff copy/pasted from last season's thread and slightly edited. Below is the rules, regulations and FAQs for this season's iteration of VHFL. Here is a rundown of what YOU need to do to compete in the Victory Hockey Fantasy League: 1. Read the VHFL Rules & FAQ and ask any questions you have in this thread. Note: where contradictions occur between this thread and the Rules & FAQ thread occur, this thread is correct. There is some obviously outdated information in the Rules thread. 2. Select a full line up consisting of 3 Forwards, 2 Defensemen and 1 Goaltender in the S50 Regular Season. This full line up must not exceed a hard salary cap of $20,000,000 (20 million). 3. Use this S50 VHFL Player List, to help you strategically choose your lineup. 4. When you have chosen your 3 Forwards, 2 Defensemen and 1 Goaltender, fill out the official template (found below). Make sure to include an answer to the tie-breaker question. Any submissions that are over the salary cap will be disqualified. 5. Private message your completed official template to VHLFantasy. 6. All submissions must be in by Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 at 9PM PST/12 AM EST. You may alter your roster up from your original submission up to that deadline. After that is all done, don't expect weekly updates to see how your team is doing! Unless the people are calling for it. 5. Top 4 Mock Draft The date and time of the historic Season 50 VHL Entry Draft have been set, and in just under two days, we'll see where everyone is going. At the top of the draft class are four very talented forwards: Diana Maxwell, Theo Axelsson, Essian Ravenwing, and Asher Donovan. The consensus top two are Maxwell and Axelsson, in some order. Likewise, either Ravenwing or Donovan could go third overall. Both decisions, who will be picked first from each pair, lies in the hands of Stockholm, who own the first and third overall picks. While the rest of the first round will be more unpredictable, the top four is not set in stone. Axelsson performed notably better than Maxwell while playing for the same team last season. Donovan had a phenomenal season, but it was Ravenwing who came out on top with a Founder's Cup. Still, it may be the more boring part to write about, but I need not go any further to meet the necessary word count. 1st Overall: RW Theo Axelsson Theo Axelsson or Diana Maxwell, that is the question. It will be hard to make a wrong decision here, but Theo Axelsson may be the safer choice. The players are nearly equally talented, but Axelsson is more of a complete player. He finished second in goals, points, and hits last season in the VHLM. For Axelsson, this would be a big jump up from the S49 VHLM Draft, where he fell all the way to 8th overall. The two-way capabilities he showed during the season have earned him this top spot. He should be able to make an immediate impact for the Vikings as the best forwards on their roster. 2nd Overall: RW Diana Maxwell Axelsson's teammate in Brampton, Diana Maxwell showed signs of brilliance as well as inconsistency last season. A pure scorer, finishing third in the minors with 64 goals was a disappointing season from Maxwell. No doubt about it, though, she has the talent and work ethic to become a star. Without getting too far ahead of ourselves. there is potential for her to be the next Thomas O'Malley or Max Molholt. Like Axelsson, she'll make an immediate impact wherever she goes in the draft. 3rd Overall: C Essian Ravenwing Not only does Stockholm get their choice of Axelsson or Maxwell, they also get to pick between Asher Donovan and Essian Ravenwing. Although Donovan turned out an impressive season, Ravenwing seems to be a better fit for the Vikings. Having already added a wing with the first overall, and having prospect Jack Kraken as well, Stockholm is looking for someone to center their future first line. Ravenwing fits the bill. He finished third in assists and face-off percentage for the Cup-winning Royals last season. 4th Overall: LW Asher Donovan Helsinki may have fallen a spot in the draft lottery, but they shouldn't consider themselves unlucky given the quality of the player they will get, and it may be the guy they would've taken at three regardless. Asher Donovan turned out a very impressive season for the Rush, leading the league in both goals and assists. No doubt, he'll be named the MVP at the awards ceremony this season, likely by a unanimous decision.
  6. His draft stock was never really higher than fourth. Maybe at one time he could've been as high as third, but it's hard to justify putting him in a category with the likes of Maxwelsson.
  7. Even though I'm doing point tasks now, I probably would've been gone during Toriyama's career without it.

  9. Oh, and just to be clear, I didn't actually find a Mewtwo. As authentic as that looks, it's merely a drawing I did over a picture. I actually can't get Pokemon GO on my phone.
  10. Zach Parechkin is the star of the series.
  11. Anyone play? Check out what I found
  12. I am rooting for Yukon though, even though you didn't draft me. I get that you only wanted first gens, but I would've loved to play for my baby. ("my baby" being the team, of course, not you)

I liked that I knew even sooner that we'd taken down Quebec.

  16. I already forgot about the six-goal game tbh
  17. The S2 draft did win cups in eight different seasons, but that's because several of the players were also playing in S1. However, no one in the draft class won in S9. There were a few other teams that also won in seven of their eight seasons, but no draft class thus far has a cup winner in every possible season. The S43 draft, however, has a winner from each of its first six seasons, and every team remaining in the playoffs except Quebec has an S43 player.
  18. It would be interesting to see if any draft class as a whole has won a Continental Cup during every season in which they could play. The S1 draft would of course have the best chance at this, but no one from there (unless you also count the supplemental draft but I'm not) won in S8. I'll be back with the research in a moment.
