I totally agree with you here. The problem is not that anyone who's anyone can voice an opinion. The problem lies in the combination of there being so much misinformation out there, and people being naive, gullible, lazy, or whatever you want to call it, and not doing the work to verify the information. This is one of the reason why I am so greatful to have gone to University and learned about - checking facts - going right to the sources. "Oh so a new report said a study found that drinking one cup of coffee a day makes your dick grow larger? Fantastic! Let's see that study. Oh, it was an isolated study with a sample size of 4 that reported statistically insignificant increased amounts of semen productions after a month of one cup of coffee a day compared to a control group of female giraffe. Well how the fuck did that news report infer a larger dick size out of that?"
It happens way too often and it's funny because last week at work I had an hour long discussion about this exact thing with one of my co-workers.
Anyway, very interesting listen @der meister. Hopefully other's listen too!
