Welcome! Welcome all to the Season 48 VHL World Cup. I am really excited for this season's tournamen and it is my pleasure to present to you your Commissioners for the event: Phil & Streetlight Together, we hope to bring you a memorable experience and it all starts with you as the brilliant members of this site. I will need your enthusiasm and activity to really amp up the discussion and bring a sense of excitement to this season's off-season tournament. --------------------------------------- The Official Power Rankings With the incredible knowledge of Streetlight, and the audacity and tenaciousness of Phil, we have brought to you a Pre-Tournament Power Ranking! Feel free to check it out and full-heartedly agree with our opinions of how each team is shaping up! The top two teams from that will get a bye through to the Semi-Finals, while the other four teams will enter the first elimination round in a (3) vs (6), (4) vs (5) match-up. The Rewards The only reward that counts are the long-lasting friendships you'll make with your fellow country-men and I dare say even your opposition. However, if you are materialistic, here's what you'll be going for: Gold Medal Silver Medal Bronze Medal MVP Top Forward Top Defenseman Top Goalie Breakout Star Finally, feel free to increase the hype by doing a 6-TPE Point Task during the World Cup to earn 3 Uncapped TPE! Great spot! It's definitely a huge blockbuster trade, as quebec garner one of the best goalies in the league along with one of the best centers! I feel your post-trade stress syndrome. You've traded away a younger franchise goalkeeper and great member. Ultimately this trade has no losers.. only winners. You'll be happy with Draper and Victor... I know that from experience. They are both awesome!

I did listen @der meister ! Just took me a while! I'll listen to ep one of LPR when I am gaming! Excited to hear it. I've already subscribed so that's nice. Hopefully you had fun mowing the grass on Saturday. There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly cut grass on a warm sunny day. I haven't played the new Wolfenstein game yet, although it looks quite good. I remember the final boss of Return to Castle Wolfenstein was very much like you described here... run around for 5 minutes just to get set up for the boss fight, which itself takes 20 minutes and there's no save point when you are actually ready to fight him.... so at least they are consistent? lol but a pain in the ass nonetheless. Ill miss you this week!

Hey VHL! Another World Cup is upon us! Our GMs have been announced and they will pick the rosters for their respective teams within the next couple of days! Western Europe have won back-to-back Gold Medals, while Scandinavia and the States have capped the silver medals in S46 and S43, respectively. The Mercs won their first ever medal last tournament and Team World won the bronze in S43. Where's Canada in this list? They have been very unsuccessful over the past few world cups and I personally would love to see the country that is known for its dominance and passionate love affair with the sport of hockey to rise again. Personally, I would love the Medals to go to (in order of Gold to Bronze) Western Europe, Mercs, Canada. The gold medal, for obvious reasons, because my player, Phil Hamilton, will most likely represent the team on defense... The silver medal to the Mercs because they are the underdogs and have never achieved silver (and who doesn't love an underdog?) and Canada because my name is joe and I am Canadian What's your ideal Medal Standings?!?!?!
