Yeah I looked at that while updating, thats a stupid autocorrect. It looks bad on us to have that in each players thread when they say they've been recruited from the S H L

League won't continue without new members coming in though. I've done pretty well from the recreate rules myself, but I'd be in favour of making it more even or advantageous to newer members, especially if all it would require would be an extra season in the VHLM to keep them happy.

What if we change the strict 175 cap to something along the lines that a player cannot have 175 or more TPE added to their player while in the VHLM (TPE can continue to be earned, but no more than 174 points can be allocated to any player's attributes in the VHLM) But they can pass the 175 mark by banking TPE, preventing players from having to burn TPE if they wish to stay down one more year. Can only be done once during a career.

Love it! Plus it's easier for Updaters to monitor!

How the SH L does it, and it seems to work fine. It promotes a player who wants to help their junior team, or not get thrown to the wolves in the big league without penalizing them.

Intriguing. I suppose you could write an editorial about that and explain it in more detail. Enough with the silly auto corrects too

Already wrote mine for next week, but I could absolutely do that. Would be sweet to not have to worry about coming up with a topic for two weeks.

Yeah I like the idea of capping used TPE at 174 for players. Allows users to still use the advantage of post-deadline creation while making it easier for new members to catch up in terms of productivity. Implementing it would be really easy too given the fluid nature of the VHLM (any player that has already updated past that point would already be gone by the next season so the rule can have a pretty immediate effect).

tl;dr nsfw ban

Yep.  Works very well in the S H L and I think it makes a lot of sense here as well.

Also, are the admins fucking serious with that correction? Pathetic.

I'm glad we're thinking of/finding ways to improve the 175 TPE cap to help out new members.  I didn't even realize how much of an issue it was.

That said, from my limited experience and interaction with him, I really really genuinely like MF as a person and a member... BUT you're being a fucking little bitch.  As a new member, we WANT to help you, we don't want you to be upset or get fucked over.  But you're being a fucking punk and if you want to take your ball and go home due to AN EXPLICITLY STATED RULE then fucking good riddance.  "DURR, I'M NOT WASTING MY HARD-EARNED MONEY!"  Yeah, well, maybe you shouldn't have fucking spent it if you planned on being a VHLM-lifer.  As much as I'm glad that we're making changes to help out  future people in the same scenario, it fucking sickens me we're doing it because of your shitty fag tactics, instead of just communicating like a normal fucking human being.  We give guys leniency with the 175 TPE cap, and in return they fucking feel entitled to earn their minor league bonus AND enter it with 200 TPE.  "Oh this rule makes no sense!"  No, having fucking Jaroslav Oslig in the league is what doesn't make sense.  We're working on developing a middle ground, and we need all the help we can get.  So you can retire like a little fucking bitch if you want, or you can use the fucking COMPLAINTS/SUGGESTION forum and actually try to be helpful.  You fucking pussy.

Anyway, I'm semi-sorry for going off on you like that.  Take it as you will.  Hopefully you return, and maybe do Jason a solid.  He never deserved this.  You're a fun member, and I enjoy the egotistic attitude more than the next guy.  But you're a being a pansy, and that's the bottom line, I don't know how anyone could deny it.  You're not even wrong for being mad, I would be too, you just go about it terribly.

The reason why we had a hard cap before was someone (likely Edgar) hit the cap limit then saved a bunch load of TPE, waited for the deadline to pass then added it all in.

I guess we never considered making the cap "175" in added attributes itself but I'm wondering if that would be bothersome for the updaters if they have to count up attributes to check people? Like for people that like to max/min off the bat and pump 100 points into one stat, that could be a bitch to go through bunches of threads like that wouldn't it?

If they don't care, I'd be all for it too.

Why would they have to go through it if they have been tracking it each week? Not sure what you are trying to say here.
